I have never written negative reviews, this will be my first. This is the worst service that simply cannot be expected in the USA. I arrived here on Friday, March 29th, only to be told that they accept walk-ins without an appointment solely on Wednesdays and Thursdays, starting precisely at 10 a.m., as I asked multiple times. To clarify, this crucial information is not available anywhere; it s impossible to find out without personally visiting. Should I call and make an appointment? Forget it, it's impossible I've spent several hours on hold for two consecutive days, attempting to call at different times. I arrive precisely at the opening time, step inside, and a rude man informs me that all spots are already filled for the day, suggesting I return in a week. I pose a logical question: "How is this possible when you've just opened?" To which he simply repeats his prior statement. I do not recommend anyone waste their time coming here. Walmart's management should pay attention to this Auto Center; it's tarnishing their reputation. That's all I wanted to say.

A while back, I bought four Goodyear tires because they were selling them at a very good price. The tires themselves are excellent quality. They offer a lifetime road hazard plan. Even if you drive over a nail we will take care of it. they said. It s a 45 to 60 minute drive each way because there are so few Walmarts that have an auto care center but I decided to get the plan. Later on, I went to my dealership to have my service interval done which includes rotating tires. They said that the lugnuts were on so tightly they almost snapped the studs trying to get them off. They actually had to use a heavy duty truck type air wrench to remove them. Eventually I started getting some slow leaks so I called Walmart to set up an appointment and no one answered the phone. So I called the main desk and no one answered the phone. I started trying every department & no one answered the phone so I wondered if the store had closed. I had to call national headquarters to see if they were still open and they themselves could not get through to anyone there, even though the store was still in business. After several attempts over the course of a couple of days, I finally got through only to find out they don t take appointments. It s walk-in service only and they recommend getting there as early as possible because they get booked up for the day very quickly. I work nights & don t get up till one in the afternoon so for me to do that Id have to get essentially no sleep. Eventually I bit the bullet and woke up extra early, drove all the way down there to be told that they are by appointment only. When I told the man behind the desk that the last time I came they said it s walk-in only he laughed and rolled his eyes and was pretty obnoxious. As a matter of fact, he was obnoxious during another visit as well. Apparently they changed their policy so that was my first wasted trip. Several months later I was going to be driving by that area and decided to call ahead to see if I could get the tires fixed and once again, it took multiple attempts before someone finally answered the phone & they said they have no openings for the next three weeks. They also told me that they re now only open three days a week. I am assuming this is the case because they are shorthanded. It certainly would not be because of a lack of customers. Several months later I had some time off so I scheduled an appointment to have the slow leaks repaired. I drove an hour down there, left the car with them and walked around and had lunch with a friend while waiting. An hour and a half later they called me and told me that the sensors in both of my front tires needed to be replaced and did I want to have that done (for $58 not included in the road hazard plan). I explained to them that when my low air light comes on, the tires actually have low air, I top them off, and the low air light goes out so as far as I m concerned, the sensors are working just fine and I d rather not spend the money to have them replaced. They told me that was fine and I waited another 45 minutes. I then walked back over there to find out what was going on and saw my car sitting outside in the parking lot. The person behind the desk told me that because I did not want to get new sensors there was nothing they could do. I asked what tire sensors have to do with slow leaks. The tires are leaking, I have to repeatedly top them off and that has nothing to do with a low air warning light system. He shrugged his shoulders and said that s what the techs told him. Several hours had passed since I first left my house that day, I still had another hour drive home ahead of me and I did not have the energy to ask for the manager or complain about it, I just turned around and left after wasting a day and another trip. Even though I have free road hazard protection for the life of my tires, I will never go there again and I recommend that you steer clear of the place unless you ve got a lot of spare time and gas and don t mind getting completely aggravated.

NEVER GO HERE FOR CAR NEEDSShort: Rescheduled the day of, didn t have tires in stock when arrived, very unorganized operation.Long: On November 30th I purchased high-end Continental tires and scheduled an appointment for December 22nd, this was all done online. December 22nd came around and I was called 2 hours before my scheduled appointment, 2 hours!, that I need to reschedule. The reasoning was that the online system shouldn t be allowed to schedule an appointment at closing time (4:00PM), understandable. Was also told that there aren t enough technicians working there and that most afternoon appointments get rescheduled anyway.I asked about the rebate that I should have gotten through Continental for buying these tires before the end of the year, but they told me I m out of luck. Okay whatever, I ll reschedule the appointment to January 8th at 2:00PM and get the tires. Hadn t received a confirmation email about the appointment so I called back to ask about it. Was told that there wasn t any appointment scheduled for the 8th and that the next latest would be the 10th at 10:00PM, of course Finally the 10th comes around and here I am ready to check in and never have to deal with these people again. Oh great! They don t have the tires I ordered at the store anymore. I am so frustrated at this point but I already drove all the way out here and booked two separate days off from work to get this job done. They have comparable tires they can put on. So, I get the difference on a gift card and they lower the price of the installation cost by $25.Overall they screwed me with the rebate, they gave me a run around on my appointment, and they screwed me out of those tires. Very disappointing and frustrating operation they are holding. I would advise anybody to never go here for auto needs as they don t have enough technicians to get things done and their system is completely messed up.

Would give less than a star if possible. Buying tires from Walmart and trying to get them put on your car will be a nightmare you want to avoid. The cost savings is not worth it because they will repeatedly cancel your order before installation and you can t get anyone on the phone and if you do, they have no idea what they re talking about. Avoid all costs.

I purchased tires via the Walmart + app on ( 11/3/23)because we are members and recieved a great deal on tires. ($30) off good year tires. It was a deal that I couldn t pass up. However l the appointment for installation would be scheduled over a month out (12/9/23). Due to get a great deal on the tires I was okay with waiting over a month. As the days went by I started to see really good Black Friday sales on bjs tires and town fair tires and I was kicking myself because I already had purchased the Walmart tires and didn t want to go through with the cancellation process so I just stuck to it because I know my appointment was approaching soon.Fast forward to 12/9, the day of my appointment. I received a call from KREE at 11:00(2 hours before my appointment) who introduced himself as the manager of the tire shop and he had to reschedule my appointment. I explained to KREE that it was no way i was going to reschedule due to me having this appointment now for over a month. I said if you need me to come a later time I don t mind but there is no way I was rescheduling! He then placed me a hold for about 15 mins and another gentleman by the name of WILLAM came on the phone and now WILLAM introduced himself as the manager of the shop. However I was confused because I was just talking to KREE who stated to me that he was the manger.Anyways, WILLAM was very unprofessional and told me that it was nothing that he could do and he had to reschedule me due to not having anyone in the shop to install the tires. WILLAM demeanor over the phone was totally unprofessional and uncalled for. I explained to him how disappointed I was that i was called 2 hours before my appointment and to refund me my money that I spent on the tires over $450 dollars and I would never use their business again.I have no idea what is going on at that shop but if you value your time and money just take your vehicle somewhere else. I would not trust KREE/William (whom both are managers but don t install tires) with my vehicle.GOOD LUCK!

You can not beat the price of tires and install.General rt45 with install $626.The folks that work there are friendly and knowledgeable. The online process needs to have a better coordination with the auto center when it comes to scheduling.

Look I get it that a bunch of people quit but 5 hours to get four tires done is a little bit absurd. Not only that but they re open only 3 days a week so my appointment for Saturday had to be rescheduled. All in all not a great experience but at least I got my tires installed for free because of the inconvenience.

Make sure you check the hours. I booked 2 weeks in advance and was cancelled on same day because "they are closed" even though online booking allows late bookings. They had no empathy and said they call and cancel on people every single day... Next appointment wasn't for another month. I also called and used the chat to try and get help rescheduling and after talking to 4 different people gave up. . I ended up paying double to go somewhere else to the next day. I wouldn't be so upset about the mixup except the fact no one cared at all about cancelling on me

Horrible Experience only got worse. I showed earl to get 4 new tires put on. I was informed there were no techs available yet. hopefully they will come in, I was told. The techs showed up late. Then they couldn't locate the tires I ordered. After consulting with someone else they located the tires. It took about 5 hrs to replace the tires. I had planned on an oil change but I canceled, figured that would take another couple hours. Then it got worse, a couple weeks after I had the tires put on one of lug nuts fell off and several were loose. Never will I go back! It is not worth any savings you might get. By the way I'm in the market for tires for my wife's car. I called a different Walmart and was told I'll transfer you to the tire center but they won't answer I've been transferring calls there all morning an no one picks up. I said don't bother. I'm going to real tire center.Service: Tires

I really want this place to be good because their prices on tires are so reasonable. But the phone situation is absolutely out of control, they never answer, it rings and rings and rings. It doesn't matter how reasonable they're tires are. If you can't get through it does you no good. I'm taking my business elsewhere.

Wanted to Order Tires and Schedule Installation But They Can't Even Pick Up the Phone! After Reading Other Peoples Experience Just To Get Tires Took 5 Hours Just To Mount The Tires and Lugs Falling Off after the Install! I was told after transferring my call 4 times to get Someone from Tires, Try Calling Back Some Other time! Like The Cash Registers 20 isles and only one is open with an hour line waiting. All Set With Walmart Service! They Probably Have One Tire Tech and they also expect him to answer the phones and Change Tires at the same time and then Question why HIS Lug Nuts are falling Off Cars :O(Service: Tires

Possibly the worst customer service experience in all of humanity but when you finally somehow get an appointment after 2 months and then wait at the store for 5 hrs, it's about half the price of everywhere else

I called and talked with Brent and he was very helpful and professional. He genuinely tried to help me out I called back 5 mins later to answer a question for Brent and unfortunately he went on break so I had to talk to Jose the " team coach". This is were everything went down hill. I said , "is Brent there"and he rudly said he's on break! I explained my situation, which was already handled and Jose again " very rudly said do you have an appointment? I said I just talk to Brent and all I need to do is pick up paperwork for a pro rated tire. He then said if there's"No appointment you have to make one"! He then proceeded to tell me he's the manager and it doesn't matter what Brent says he is the king of tire hill! Or whatever was going on in his narcissistic mind! I will never deal with Walmart again and if this is who Walmart is choosing to represent there business. They are going in the wrong direction!

Terrible. Went in at 8am for tires to be mounted. They don t take appointments for this service. Was told they re booked for the day and that they had 11 vehicles already. Then manager strolls over and claims the same but now there s only 7 vehicles. They literally couldn t care less. Sign on the door said closed . What a joke. Never again.Service: Tires

This was my first time using them for tires and an oil change. It took a little longer than quoted, but prices are great and service was excellent. I am very happy with my new tires.

When you get in they do a good job at a fair price. You cant call have to go in to make appointment an area of opportunity for the organization to improve. It is a structural problem they do not deicate a counter professional.

I never do service in this place again. They gave me two hours to change the engine oil, and when you gave me the set time, they hadn't even moved the car. They said they were doing training and that's why it took so long. You have no respect for the client. They don't care. Worst job. It makes me want to swear, but I'm going to let it go. It's not worth it.

Had a great service twice. Ordered tires online, made an appointment. Everything was done on time and it was three times cheaper than local tire shop.

They would not install 2 front tires that I purchased off Walmart.com. They said I had to change all 4 tires. This was not the service technician, but the manager that made that decision. I took my business elsewhere. They had no problem replacing just 2 tires.

Arrived at 7am .didn t open the doors until almost 730. Damaged one of the lug nuts on a car that was just purchased and inspected for any damages. Refused to accept blame and said it was like that when it came in. Would not complete the job. So now the Plymouth Walmart has cost me 2hours out of my day and likely several hundred dollars getting my car repaired. Who has a tire shop that can t do lug nut work? Not worth the savings, go to real professionals. Guess there is a reason they are mechanics at Walmart and not a legit shop.Updated 9-11-21Just left Firestone in Hingam, absolutely no issues removing or reinstalling my lug nuts. Got better tires for less money too. Never using Walmart again.Service: Tires

I've used this shop in the past - the work was always adequate, and the prices decent, but they take forever... today, I stopped in just after noon and was told "we're not taking any more cars at the moment - you can call back around 4pm, if you feel like it." and was handed a business card as he'd already moved on to the next (cashier) customer.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The guy at the desk announces loudly "5 hour wait" as you approach. It was the same story the day prior but I had no options as I bought the tires from walmart and no one else would install them. I had 4 people before me and literally waited all day long on the lobby. Worst experience with a tire shop ever. Never again will I submit myself to that bull. Go to another stop.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. This is the second time I have been here in three days. The first day, I was told it would be a two hour wait bu the manager Don. After two and a half hours, I was told it would be at least another two and a half, again by Don. Upon returning today, I was second in line. I was told an hour and a half. After an hour and a half, the first vehicle (ahead of me) isn t even halfway completed. These employees are rude, incompetent, and have absolutely no sense of customer service or work ethic. Simple oil changes take over an hour and putting four new tires on a car will take close to two. GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE!!!!

Hard to understand this business and it's failings. Why no management to fix the problems? Kick the can I guess. Went three times to get A tire put on....the only reason I went back there is that they carried the tire. Yesterday at 4pm they CLOSED the shop, why? because their 'techie' went home sick.....wow.They seem to discourage the work as they tell you it's a 3 hour wait, not describing the issues behind that. Caveat Emptor....Buyer Beware....Try BJ's tire and auto, nearby.

Most useless auto center. First off my battery is leaking after three years. I went two days in a row to get my battery replaced and no one could accommodate it in a timely manner. The first day I got turned away all together. A battery change should take them about five minutes to complete. I would recommend going to any other auto center. Now I have to pay full price for a battery somewhere else since they couldn t help me when it is under warranty there.

My car was in desperate need of an oil change. Took it in on Saturday, 8/11. One of the best customer service experiences I ve ever had, and this was a guy with trainee on his name tag! The place is usually busy, and the wait time about 3 hrs, but I m okay with that. Plymouth, MA Walmart is awesome.
