This is the second time we have taken a car to Route 1 and they once again did a great job. We were kept up to date on cost options, timelines, and ultimately got our repairs done and for a fair price.

Rt 1 Auto has been my auto mechanic for years, Pete and the crew have repaired everything from a rear axle, new tires, they take care of my oil changes, and general maintenance. They are up front and honest

Excellent service, honest, knowledgeable, friendly, fair pricing.Was able to take in my care the same day I called. Provided updates with issues they found and provided estimated prices before starting any repairs. Worked on the repairs until they identified the issues which were not obvious. Final cost was what was quoted for the repairs done with no surprises. I am confident that the issues were identified and repaired correctly! I have only been to this shop a few times and have found them to be very knowledgeable and honest. Highly recommend.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Auto brake repair

Went in for oil/filter change and related service. Right on time for the appointment and performed the service in good time. Price was right in line with the region average. Best Ever for what is usually a terrible experience.I took my RV in for inspection. Pete was very nice and knowledgeable. He showed me exactly what was wrong and ordered parts and scheduled return visit. He was prompt and polite and knowledgeable. The work was performed on time and again I received a full explanation and he answered all my questions. The vehicle drives like new now. I drove 35 miles for this repair and I would drive 100 miles for my next repair if I could have this good an experience.

First time here and will definetly be coming back. Everyone here was extremely helpful and trustworthy - they were even able to fit me in the afternoon I went in. Reasonably priced services and gave good general advice for my car at its mileage. Based on the other reviews, this seems standard. Relived to have such a reputable auto repair shop in the area. Best mechanic around. Waiting area is spotless. They are busy, because they do great work, but Paul will do his best to fit you in and work around your needs. He and Pete have always been very helpful and professional. Highly recommend, most honest shop I ve ever been to!

This is the third time that I have had Rt. 1 Automotive work on my vehicles. They have always had exceptional service and diagnosed the issues accurately. They are also very reasonable with their pricing. I will continue to give them my business and highly recommend them. I have not been let down yet.

Honest. They could have totally ripped us off and we wouldn't have had a clue. They didn't. They explained everything in a way I'd understand and then offered options. Honest about how long everything would take and very nice, respectful mechanics. We will go to them from now on with all of our vehicle and would recommend them to anyone.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Called ahead to see if they could fill my 46 RV propane tank. They said yes so I proceeded there. Once there, I parked my Big rig 30 feet from the Propane take to be filled so they could move a car like they said they would. No problem they said. Then, some lady parked right where I needed to move my machine to be filled. I asked her to move her car and told her I need to move my rig in there to get filled. She was SUPER RUDE. Turns out, she was test driving a car for this company. She did pull it forward but it was still in the way. The Rig is 46 !Then, as I m waiting a guy walks in with a propane tank to be filled. Well, I guess I m the last person to get any help....Then one of their employees comes out to see where the tank is on my rig. I explained it is half way down on the left side. He went to look and was rude and rough on my doors. Going through each one until he found the tank. The, he went to climb into my rig with his greasy hands to pull it forward 30 to the fill station. Well first of all, I don t need him driving my 150k dollar motorhome. Nor do I need him to learn how my air brakes or drive train work to go 30 feet. I told him, I ll pull it forward.He said, are you giving me attitude? I said, yes, I ve been ignored and skipped in line. And now you want to get your greasy fingers all over my rig to move it 30 feet?He s reply was, you know what, I m all set you can take it somewhere else.Well thanks for wasting my time a hole!

These guys are completely trustworthy and fully knowledgeable..... great service when I brought my car there....fixed same day.......prices were fair, I didn't feel like I got fleeced, and they didn't try to sell me on anything I didn't need.... they're my new mechanic

Was quoted over $1600 for repairs to my vechile. Rt1 Auto checked out my concerns even showed me what the Dealer wanted to replace, pointing out that normal wear on a couple of rubber bushings would not justify the cost and most important that the vechile was safe to drive. Walked out of Rt 1 Auto paying under $40 for a cabin filter. You have to trust your repair shop not only for being honest but also for top shelf service. That's why I would recommend Rt 1 Auto for all your service repairs.
