Fast service. I had a couple lights out and they offered to fix it for me and have me on my way newly inspected. Huge burden lifted off my shoulders. Outside sitting area- come to find out my lights were still out after I left this place they didn't fix it just charged me for it lol

Was told to go there by interstate battery to get my battery replaced and get it tested the guy came out and tested my battery told me my battery was dead and he would have to do all this performance test but he couldn't do it until a couple weeks mind you this battery is under warranty and it's just a simple switch out I called interstate and they apologize about him so I went to a different installer in Pittsfield and had my battery switched out was much easier I won't recommend this place to anyone I do understand I did go on a Friday right near closing but that's where the company told me to go so I had to wait till Monday to get my car fixed

If U really care about your car and ya money i highly recommend u find somewhere else to fix your car ... This are Terrible Mechanics with very low knowledge of things.

went in for inspection, man told me i needed a new direction light and license plate light, paid for it, he passed me and i went on my way. fast forward 2 days later I checked my lights before heading out for the night and long and behold my license plate light AND direction light was out. they didnt fix a thing just charged me for it. at least i got inspected?

Went in for an inspection. Very pleasant. Changed a bulb for me. In and out quickly. I have an intense fear of mechanics, but plan on going back.

South St Service is amazing! I had a coworker recommend the place to me 15 years ago and I haven't takeny car anywhere else since. Fair prices, fast and friendly service. I've recommended many people here and they all love it and stay as customers.

Jamie and his family have been my mechanics for almost 30 years. They have really good service, and I never feel like I am being taken advantage of.

What a disaster this car situation turned out to be. State inspection scam artists. Cash only, no credit cards, no checks. Inspection was baloney, they ruined my back bumper by pulling it out on the sides. What slobs, they messed up the inside, all my stuff thrown around like they were looking for valuables. The woman who acts like a drill sergeant was rude. She is also a realtor- really? Who in their right mind would buy anything from that witch? They ran my car, and others in a CLOSED garage door, so all the exhaust gets in the cabins of the cars there. 35.00 and lots of lies and aggravation. Of course, I went elsewhere to get it done. You could send your enemies over there for revenge.

No parking. Woman was so rude. I walked thru the bay door, was my first time there, she wouldn't let me get thru to service area. She didn't smile. Very rude. Worst place I've ever been.

Highest recommendation!We were vacationing in the Berkshires, 160 miles from home and from our usual mechanic. And then, our 17 year old, trusted minivan betrayed us! A huge puddle under the car. An antifreeze leak. Potentially overheated engine.South Street Services were sympathetic, and although they were fully booked for at least a week, squeezed us in to look at the problem.They not only diagnosed the problem, but ordered and replaced the rusted part the same day!The cost was reasonable, the service, willingness to go the extra mile, the pleasant people to deal with, all turned a potential nightmare into a great experience!

After transfering my plates and license from out-of-state at the nearby RMV, I stopped in for MA inspection. Everyone was exceptionally friendly, helpful, prompt, and effective. They replaced bulbs that were out -where as most places would have landed me the ol' red R and sent me on my way.I wish I could say I'll be back, but I live an hour away. This place was phenomenal. Above and beyond.

My go-to place for an inspection. Always friendly and courteous. Typically, it's not a long wait, and they have always been clear on any issues that prevent a passing of inspection.

I have been coming here exclusively for automotive service for nearly the past 2 decades. Wonderful, professional, staff - great service and reasonable prices. I won't take my vehicles anywhere else.

These guys are fast! Get in early and your out in about 10minutes for an inspection. Staff are all nice and very Professional.

Came in with all lights working left with almost none! Staff literally damaged my vehicle in order to try to scam more money, then tried to tell me they didn't touch anything when I went in and reconnected the wires for one of the blinkers! Worst service shop I've ever seen!

Women is EXTREMELY RUDE. They rip your car apart for no reason. There system is terrible and they re money hungry. Go elsewhere
