Highly do NOT recommend. Brought my vehicle in due to the engine light being on, the owner lifted the hood and about 20 seconds later said it was a blown turbo and he could fix it for $4000. I brought the vehicle to 3 different shops and they all told me the same thing, it is impossible to lift the hood and after 20 seconds tell if it s a turbo. My vehicle just got repaired for $240, and it was the purge valve, nothing to do with the turbo (like every other shop said). I will never bring my business back to S&A auto.

These guys are the best - hands down! I first went to them a few months ago for an oil change. I was in and out in no time and the price was very reasonable. A week ago I had a flat tire and after calling all of the big tire repair companies who could not help me since they did not carry the tires I needed replaced, I called S & A. I explained that I had to order the tires myself since no one carried them and that once they came in, I wanted to know if I could get my car towed and have the tires mounted and balanced. Without hesitation I was told by the owner, absolutely. My tires were delivered at noon, my car was towed there at 2:30pm and by 4pm S&A called saying my car was all set. 2 new tires mounted, balanced and alignment done! I was shocked by how quick they were able to get me in and get the job done and again for a very reasonable price. They certainly have my business! Highly recommend!!

I just had a 5 star experience getting my oil change at this place. It was quick, efficient, and the owner was completely transparent about pricing. The customer service was outstanding. He offered, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. And he was so polite and kind to everyone that walked in. I live all the way in Essex but I ll be returning here for my next automotive service needs.

Shawn and his crew at S & A Auto repair are one class act. I have been to other repair shops but Shawn and his crew at S & A Auto repair beats them all. They did work to my truck and my sons car.They were honest about the price and the work they did. Can't not say enough about how great Shawn and his crew at S & A Auto repair were. They have my business and my family's.

Great job on my SUV repairs by the guys at S&A Auto Repair. They gave me a full breakdown of needed repairs and estimate for parts and labor. Work was done in a timely manner and final bill was right in line with estimate. Brought my car there because I thought I needed an oil change. When they checked it they immediately called me over to show me that the oil was all over the engine bay and there was obviously a huge issue. Despite how busy they were they dove in and eventually it was discovered the car needed a new engine. Not only did S&A make sure the car was repaired but the owner made sure to work with me in every way to make what could have been a devastating issue actually manageable and stood on his word that the repairs would stay within a certain cost even though unexpected problems ate up his entire profit. By the time my car was given back I KNOW he incurred a loss in order to keep his word and that s something no other repair shop would normally do. Worst experience I have ever had with a business or Owner.. Took multiple times to fix my car (at least 4) broke my radiator when fixing something completely different.. now radiator was smoking leaking.. ! Fixed it (for free) acting like they did me a favor !! Owner is very disrespectful.. argumentive and takes no accountability when not being able to do the job correct or when his team breaks something ! If I could give no star I would. Do yourself a favor . Save yourself extreme hassles go someplace, anyplace else !!

Went to S&A per a friend s recommendation. Shawn was extremely helpful. He made sure to thoroughly explain what was wrong with my car, and answered any questions I had with clarity. Brought my car here for an oil change and break change. They got the job done fast at a competitive price. Customer service was top notch and everyone was kind and friendly. Will definitely be coming back when my car requires additional maintenance

Was referred to shop after leaving another and picking up my vehicle with major electrical problem. They diagnosed the problem very fast and offered a variety of different ways to approach the problem varying in cost and different ways to achieve the end result of being fixed. I chose to have an electrical specialist come to the shop to do work on my vehicle, out of all the options this was the most expensive. Shawn the owner then asked if I wouldn't mind dropping off my vehicle a day or 2 early to give his in house expert mechanics a chance to troubleshoot my electrical problem. I could tell his offer to help in this way came from the fact he felt for my situation of having a ruff experience at another mechanic and that he wished I had found his garage sooner to have avoided the problem all together. The end result: The S&A mechanics were able to fix my electrical problems prior to calling an electrical specialist in and he rectified some safety issues that were left unchecked from the original repair I had done at another shop. By doing so S&A proved to be up to task for a wide variety of repairs, have an honest work ethic, cared about my saftey and best of all saved me hundreds of dollars by having his own mechanics troubleshoot the problem prior to me entering an agreement with an extremely expensive specialist.If your new in town or thinking of changing shops....just get the work done at S&A....in the end it will save you time, money and a possible headache.Services: Electrical repair, Brakes

Competitivley priced for synthetic oil change. I believe they beat everyone in the area on price. Had my transmission oil replaced and oil change in under 40 min. Break service also very reasonable. Very good service with no pressure.

Called on the phone asked if they plugged tires. They said yes, 20 bucks a plug. Went in 10 minutes after I called, they plugged the tire in 5 minutes with a single plug. Charged me 40 bucks without even saying a word, and then handed the receipt to me upside down. Beware using their servicesService: TiresService: Tires

Had some issue with my car and these guys came to the rescue. Excellent customer service and transparency. That s hard to find these days. Got their number on speed dial now in case I ever run into any trouble.
