It was OK overall. The facilities are great and service for the most part, also great. They have WEIRD rules, like make sure you are always wearing your wrist band, and nobody checks, at all. Also the parking pass, nobody ever checked. However and that s a big however . They have people patrolling for folks using firewood that they suspect suspect wasn t purchased there.First off - the wood was purchased locally, secondly, get out of my truck bro. Talk about creep factor and nickel and dime factor. 125 bucks a night to reserve a spot here and they play little games with the firewood fees. Felt like a swat team invasion.Points off because the basketball net was broken on both hoops nah. They cost 5 bucks on Amazon, stock up and fix the nets.Points off because they had construction workers hammering and using nail guns on their new pavilion at 7AM on Sunday. Get a clue on that one talk about fail. The place is nice - that s it tho.

We keep going back! Such an awesome place. Started w/cabins. Now kids are older we re in a camper. It s always great no matter what you are in even a tent! Staff is by far the best. The place is always clean and there is so much to do to experience an amazing vacation. Even our dog loves it here with the dog park and dog beach.Nearby activities: We never have to or want to leave to do any out of campground activities . They have everything to do and enjoy on site. Swimming, fishing, biking, games the list goes on and on. They are close enough to go into Wocester to do things there, but in 11-12 years we have been going there, we have never left to go elsewhere other than the close by grocery store.Safety: Staff is always around and extremely helpful if ever needed.Walkability: Walk, ride your bike, or golf cart. All good here.Food & drinks: General store there makes great breakfast sandwiches and pizza! Plus the weekly food truck is fun.Noteworthy details: Staff is amazing. Campers are respectful and friendly. Daily activities are always fun to do. It s also set on beautiful lake Dean.

This camping is awesome overall bring your dog your kids and have fun there What a great campground! Everything was very well kept and clean. We met the new owners and you can tell that they really care about the property and your stay. They have been fixing it up since they bought it and you can tell it is being upgraded from the nice beach area and playground to the picnic tables and very well kept grounds. They had events for the kids so their was no shortage of things to keep them entertained. Overall great experience we will be back for sure.

The most wonderful campground! Clean, so many activities, amazing staff and an overall beautiful place to spend with friends and family. I ve camped since I was a baby and now as a grown adult, I ve found this to be one of the most awesome places to camp!!!!! Family owned. Great rules to keep everyone safe and ensure a perfect vacation! Our son loves it here as well! It s the highlight of our year to camp here.

We love Pine Acres! The resort is well maintained and clean. Staff work hard and are friendly and helpful. Kid friendly with nice activities and great roads for riding bikes. There are just enough rules to keep things in order, but not feel like you are doing something wrong all the time. This was our second year and we plan to be back every year!

We just had our first visit, and we will definitely be going back. The staff was super friendly and helpful. As we were packing up, two staff members stopped and offered to take our trash for us. The campground was very clean. Clean bathrooms and showers. Lots of amenities for the whole family. We have a camper, but we were impressed with the cabins they offer too. Dean's Pond is beautiful and relaxing. The Central Mass Rail Trail is a few miles away, and is very scenic. Great place!

The owner and staff of this campground are very arrogant and treat people with disrespect. I called & made a reservation with Pine Acres Family Camping Resort. The next day I noticed I didn't receive a confirmation email even though my card had been charged. So I called back that day to find out why. As it turns out I was told Pine Acres campground screen's people they even take notes so they can pick & choose who they like or don't like. UNBELIEVABLE!! This was told to me by a staff manager (Kelly)I have no idea why my reservation was cancelled. I have been camping for over 30 years at dozens of campgrounds in many different states I've never known any campground or business to operate this way. The two people I spoke to on the phone were rude and arrogant. After that I spoke to some friends who have young children and they told me the staff there were rude and mean to there kids. STAY AWAY FROM PINE ACRES FAMILY CAMPING RESORT!!!!

This is a campground. Sardine sights. Super bright streetlights throughout ruin any nighttime experience. Don't order the chicken BBQ if offered. You will get sick from undercooked meat.

I just had a terrible vacation. I booked an expensive full service cabin at Pine Acres(which need an update). A skunk crawled under my cabin and sprayed in the middle of the night. We were up all night gagging. The smell stunk up the whole cabin. We had no escape. It permeated our food, clothes and bedding. We went days without a good night's sleep. The stench even got into the hot water tank. Every time we tried to shower, wash our hands, or wash our dishes, it smelled. They trapped the skunk, but the damage had been done. I know they can't control them, but we got no sympathy or help. Skunks are everywhere there. We saw one at our neighbor's cabin the next night. They should try harder to get rid of them. We see them every year. I had to throw out my food. I had to wash every single item I brought there. I had to throw out my pillows. My car smells like skunk from transporting all of that stuff. If management had even acknowledged how horrible this was, I would have felt better. They didn't offer me anything. I wasn't expecting my money back, but how about compensation for the mountain of laundry or a free lunch after I threw out all of my food. The only response I got was "We can't control the wild life." I have gone to this place for a few years because my whole family goes. I am canceling next year's reservation because I am not risking that again and the prices are going up!

2 families left because when we took our dogs out to only due there duty 2x a day. Late morning and before dark Dogs were mainly confined in rvs. Never barked at night or early mornings. Park ranger approach us and said dogs were noisy when you could hear many dogs barking everywhere! Both parties left before our time was up. Will never go back there ever again. Camping for over 40 yrs never experienced this stressful time. Put a muzzle on your dog so they can't barked I guess. Go elsewhere!! Nothing around there for miles!Nearby activities: No stores close buy..2 families left

Had a great week and kids had a blast! Loved just giving the kids walkie talkies and letting them have fun around the campground! They made new friends and great memories! We picked a good week with hardly any rain.Safety: I felt comfortable around the campground.

Pine acres family camping resort is on our list of top 4 campgrounds for sure!! First of all, The service there was everything. When we first arrived there, we were not sure if the place was gonna be good based on the reviews. We were totally wrong. The check in receptionists were very nice and told us everything we had to do and in a respectful manner. I loved the customer service almost more than any campground we have ever gone too.The amenities and the environmentThe amenities were probably the best things there as it included pools, motor boats, lake, a place for kayaking and boating, an splash zone and playgrounds and maybe more that I can t remember. These allowed the kids to fun while the adults had peace. This campground is one to remember!!Then CLEANESS The bathrooms, laundry rooms and everything else was kept clean and barely anything was dirty when we got there. That might have changed but we hope not! Thank you for caring for your camper s hygiene, Pine Acres! And the sites, The sites were spacious and for people who want privacy (like us) there were some lonely or wooded sites that we could choose from if they were available but some that were close to everything which we don t really like because of the noise. That is good since most campgrounds don t include wooded sites.Overall, this campground was by far one of the best campgrounds we have ever gone too. Thank you so much!!! We are hoping to return this summer and keep your Calypso s in stock!-Maria

This is our 5th time visting this campground and renting THEIR cabins and find it to have everything you need for the kids. Pool, beach, mini golf, playgrounds and so much more. It is one of our favorite vacations we take every year.Though this last time something bothered me. I have been renting their cabins which is a week minimum during peak season which is not cheap. But it does provide you with the things you need. Well we are a family of 4 and I went to the main office to ask for more toilet paper as we were running low. They had told me "NO they do not have any and that they have already provided us with some and if we need more then we can purchase it at their country store!" Im sorry but what?? Im renting your cabin for $$$$$ and you can not provide me with more toilet paper?? Its like going to a hotel and them telling you that you cant have anymore TP after you paid for the room. I mean this is a bit penny pinching if you ask me. Clearly there is new people running this campground because I have never expereinced this before when we have ran out. Its more the principal than anything. It did not completely push me away but I hope these little things do not continue to be bigger issues or they will be losing some repeat campers.

So I arrive with my family to have what we expected to be a wonderful time on site. The staff was friendly and very helpful from the moment we entered the facility however we were extremely unhappy with the fact that we happen to find bedbugs on site at around 4am and had to sleep in our car with 2 children under 2 because the office wasn t open until 9am. We were very sad and disappointed as we weren t able to get another room because they were fully booked and we had planned out our entire stay. I lost money having to wash a vast majority of our belongings, we left behind all the clothing we had worn that night, all linens and pillows were left behind as well and we had just purchased them. It was unfortunate that as soon as I explained the situation I had to wait for the staff to speak to management to see if I would be fully refunded when that in the least is what was suppose to happen. I wasn t offered a future stay or even to cover the cost of washing my things on site. My family expected this to be a fun filled week but that ended really quickly . On a positive note we probably would have had a great time if this hadn t happen. They have access to miniature golf, kayak rentals as well as bike rentals, an arcade, beach, fishing available, pool, and a playground. I wish the resolution would have been more than a Im sorry I hope you come back another time. .Update: I had to come and make this right! So 2 years later we decided to give this place another shot as they offered us a Free stay. I must say this experience although we were very nervous turned out to be a fun filled vacation! It was apple fest weekend and my kids enjoyed all the activities from arts & crafts to some swimming, jumping on the jump pad, playing on the play ground, renting the dragon boat to just enjoying a simple fire at the cabin. Thanks for having us and making up for our horrible experience. Such a pleasant stay the second time around. We will be back with our entire family to make more memories.

The place is great, lots of things to do with kids. It was hard to enjoy everything when it is a pet friendly place but the dogs are not allowed in a lot of places. We couldn't have breakfast at the caf all together. We had to take turns to go to the store so someone would stay outside with the dog. We couldn't go swimming because the dog was not allowed at the pool area. It would have been better if there was a heads up about all of that. If you go with no pets, or if there was a place where you can leave your dog and go enjoy all the activities it would have been an amazing experience.

Great place for family camping in the Rustic Cabins. My family has been going for 5 years and counting. We're going back next year. Lots of things to do. My son caught his first fish this year! FYI - rent a golf cart it's so much fun with the kids! My kids love it!

We LOVE PA, it is one of our favorite places to go. We were seasonals there for 3 years, we left for a year and a half, we came back as seasonals. We love all the staff members. We made some great friends with staff and fellow campers. Its great for older couples and family. Bathrooms and showers are always so clean. They have a store on property it fully stocked. Great playground for the kids, heated inground pool with splash pad. Safe place for your kids to play and enjoy the outdoors. We have stayed in the full service cabins and it was so nice with rustic decor. The cabins can sleep 6 and its pretty comfortable. We are a large family and it accommodated us. Pine Acres (PA) is a great place to go for your next camping experience.

Husband, kids, dog, and myself had an amazing time at Pine Acres this weekend. It was our first time staying here and we were so impressed with the hospitality, friendliness, and cleanliness of the resort! Reading some of the negative reviews makes it clear that some people just didn t read the rules ahead of time. I found the rules to be reasonable. I especially appreciate all of the safety measures they take (limiting day visitors, wristbands for all registered guests, gated entrance) to make sure you have a fun and safe stay. Already booked again for next year!

First time rustic cabin renter. Was extremely pleased with my visit to Pine Acres. Grounds are well kept, everything neat and clean. Very quiet peace stay. Lots of activities during the day for kids, pool, beach, arcade, store, different boat rentals, etc. All staff were extremely pleasant , from gate attendant upon entering all the way through to gate attendant upon leaving. I will definitely be back and will highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a little get away. Only problem was the time went by too fast and I didn t want to leave. Thank you all at Pine Acres for the wonderful experience.

What a lovely place!!Just spent a few days at Pine Acres Resort for the first time. We've been looking for a long term summer site for our RV, well we found it!Staff made us feel welcome everyday, the Resort was clean and very well maintained, the many activities kept our 10 year old and us entertained and sites spaced enough to enjoy quiet time.Everyone camping was friendly and the seasonal campers had nothing but wonderful things to say about Pine Acres Resort. We can't wait to be back next year!!

Almost as good as the highest end stuff out west. The older staff members need to take a chill pill. They will disturb your visit at least once. They could do all the same security procedures without having to even talk to you about it. Im just visiting the RV park I don t need to hear endless rambling from staff. If they d learn a few soft skills they d get 5 stars.

We went in September with a group of about 25 kids and adults. We rented 4 cabins and had 2 tow behind trailers. All the sites were well equipped and maintained. There was a picnic table and grill at each site, all in great condition. There were activities and the pool mini golf course added to the fun. We also rented kayaks and paddle boats...it was an amazing local trip for us all, we are planning on making this a yearly event!
