I had a pleasant experience with Luis and other members of the McGovern Kia location. From the moment I stepped in the door, I was given the attention I needed. I had several questions on the leasing process as I had never explored this option before. We went in several test drives and even went to the other lot to look at additional options. It was there that I found the vehicle I ended up choosing to lease. Luis walked me through all the options and was very knowledgeable about the differences wheat each trim came with. Upon signing, I made it clear I needed the car within the next 3 days. They had me all squared away as requested and I was happy with my lease! I look forward to doing more business with this dealership and would most definitely recommend working with Luis and Reilly (finance manager).

Stopped in to look at a used car. I spoke with Warren at the door and ended up purchasing the vehicle. Warren was great. Very respectful and helpful during the negotiation process. As a matter of fact the entire team at McGovern was great. I give them an A. The detailing staff got a b- because I had to clean up quite a dew spots they should have addressed. Otherwise I would definitely recommend these folks. I hate buying cars but they made it stress free and enjoyable. That doesn't happen often. Thanks again Warren

I found the car that I was looking for at McGovern Kia, bought it the same day, and I love it! Miguel, my sales rep, was a great guy to work with. He explained everything very well and helped walk me through the paperwork process so that I understood all of the steps. I was in by 9am and out before noon, and the best part was that they did one final cleaning and prep of the vehicle and delivered it that afternoon. Great dealership, great sales rep. Amazing car buying experience my salesman was Tony and he was excellent. So helpful,friendly,and attentive. I would highly recommend Tony if you are looking to purchase a vehicle! The whole dealership was such a friendly atmosphere I felt they treat you like family. I m more than satisfied with my purchase and if you are in the market for a vehicle McGovern is great! Also wanted to mention Charles who assisted with finance he was also great! He had attention to detail and explained everything so well. **UPDATE**(12/19/2023)As soon as I posted my review, the general Manager Jimmy reached out to me via email and phone call. He apologized for the situation and we had a few great conversations. I will say this, my confidence in this dealership going forward is very positive. They had the mirror delivered the next day(12/15/2023). Today (12/19/2023) I went to get the mirror replaced and I was on my way within 1 hour. Met Jimmy and he reassured me this sort of thing he is on top of, and trying to get the dealership better about following up with customers.Next time I need a new vehicle I will be going back to McGovern Kia of Norwood, regardless of the minor speed bump we encountered. How they responded to the situation was very respectful and professional. It has fully repaired our trust with them.ORIGINAL REVIEW(12/14/2023):My wife and I's buying experience was average I would say. The best part of the experience had to be how friendly everyone was from beginning to end in person. Our salesman Warren was super down to earth and just a really good guy from our discussions. Danny the finance manager was for pleasant to talk to and he had no issues refunding the extended warranty we had added to the sale after a few months. I talked to 1 service manager about a follow up appointment set up, didn't grab his name but he was extremely helpful and again, pleasant to talk to.Price on the car was reasonable, trade in of our lease was less than what we though, I should've fought for more, but I still didn't feel taken advantage of.Took the car off the lot within 4 business days after signing.The issue I have which reflects my 2-star review is regarding a promised repair that needed to be done as it was a safety concern. There was damage to the driver side mirror which exposes the electronics for the turn signal. It does still work; however it looks horrible, and I am concerned the turn signal will eventually stop working. I had signed a "We Owe / Delivery Receipt" which was signed by me and the dealer rep. This form states the mirror housing will be replaced. It has been over 4 months and they have yet to resolve this. Have not received a single update on this repair that was promised to me.We bought our 2014 MDX August 8, 2023. We took the vehicle off the lot August 12, 2023. I followed up with my salesman September 14, 2023(waited a month to follow up, as I have not received any communication about the repair). I was told to contact the service manager John. I called him right up and left my information for a callback. Never received anything back. I followed back up via email with salesman Warren September 20th about not getting anything back from the service manager John. No reply. I emailed Warren again October 3, 2023 stated I have still not heard anything yet, and I mentioned to him I did my own research about the part and managed to track down the last one available in all of New England and it was only 45 minutes away. Warren replied the same day saying John should be following up with me for an update Never happened. I called John the same day and again left my name and number, still never heard anything back.I have repeatedly left my name, number, and information without any updates. I think they have abandoned me and feel I will need to dish out around $500 to replace the side mirror myself. I will continue to reach out to them, as this was promised in writing.At this point I will not be recommending anyone go to this dealership. I left the lot feeling confident in my decision, I know I have a good vehicle that will last my family a long time, I am grateful for that at least.

I don t usually write reviews however, after working with Warren at Kia Norwood I had to share how wonderful my experience was. I have not purchased a new car and over a decade and was not looking forward to the process. Warren made the process from start to finish easy. He laid out the numbers and was honest and I would highly recommend going to see him.

I am in awe with the service both my husband and I experienced with Jamal at Kia McGovern in Norwood MA. I have never been treated with such exceptional kindness at any dealerships. Jamal has great interpersonal skills and treated us as if we were part of his family. We felt comfortable being around him and the other personal crew. I woul tell any of my family and friends that they are most welcomed at this dealership. Keep on doing your best Jamal and you will have tremendous success as you move forward in life.

Great experience. Michael S. was our salesperson and he was awesome. Extremely knowledgeable about the vehicles and got us into the right vehicle for our family. Particularly impressed with the customer service after purchasing the vehicle and taking ownership. Took time to set us up in the vehicle, explaining all the features and setting up technology so we didn t have to fumble around with the manual. Highly recommend Kia of Norwood and Michael our salesperson.

I just bought a vehicle from McGovern Kia and had the best experience with Jamal. He eased my mind in a stressful situation and I couldn t be more grateful! During the whole experience, I never felt pressured and always felt like I could be open and honest. He answered all my questions with ease and confidence. He got me exactly where I wanted to be numbers wise, made sure everything was checked on the vehicle that I asked, and I couldn t have been happier driving off the lot! Overall a good buying experience. Our sales rep Luis was great throughout the process, personable, and honest with us. My only complaints would be we had scheduled an apt. for 9:30 to test drive the vehicle we were interested in. We waited over 45 minutes to test drive. Also the vehicle had to be serviced so we had to wait to pick it up later in the week as well.

Molly at Norwood Kia greeted us as we pulled up to the service bay. She was upbeat and helpful. She quickly got us connected to having our car begin its schedule service visit. She advised us that the work would take an hour and a half it was actually less time than that. We were comfortable in the waiting area where we had complementary lattes and watched TV. All work completed including inspection sticker in a most satisfactory manner.

McGovern was a fine buying experience.The salesperson Dallas was very attentive, and efficient, getting answer and vehicles to test. It would be nice if mixed vehicle dealers and service departments knew more about their EV line. But that is not the case in general, Kia is no exception.

I love the 2020 Kia Forte I got but hated this buying experience. I wasn't able to pick up my car until 2 weeks after I bought it and they changed the pick up date 5 times. I missed work and a couple appointments because I didn't have a car and would have gotten a car elsewhere if I knew this was going to happen. Before I went to look at the car, I asked if the vehicle maintenance was up to date or if it had any problems because in the photos online there was a warning light on the dashboard. I was falsely told that they had just put it through service and that everything was up to date. When I went to look at the car, the same light was on the dashboard and I was able to point out multiple things wrong with the car, which they then fixed in service and caused the delay in picking it up. I appreciate them fixing the problems but I am frustrated that they weren't fixed beforehand when I specifically asked about it. Then when I finally went to pick up the car, after calling and being told it was ready for pick up (hours after the original time they told me for that day), I arrived to the dealership 40 minutes later and had to wait another 45 minutes because it was "coming back from detail". Clearly my car was not available for pick-up and out of fear of upsetting me further, they told me yet another lie. Additionally, some of the interior complaints I had involving stains and such had not been fixed and I went home and cleaned them out myself. There is obviously a major issue with communication at this dealership. Not to mention the man I sat and did the financial paperwork with made me incredibly uncomfortable, commenting on my physical appearance and asking if I was in a relationship, along with other inappropriate personal questions. On a positive note, everyone else was very friendly and I will say that they have a good selection of cars at very fair prices, but I will never be buying a car from here again, nor will I be recommending them to anyone.

5 Starts for salesman Brandon H who was super friendly, patient, and not pushy while we decided on trim level and options. He was knowledgeable about the car and answered all of our questions. He did go above and beyond to earn our business and I would trust working with him again.I would say that our overall experience with the dealership was just above average. There was roughly a 10 day delay in taking delivery of a Telluride as it was coming from another dealership. During that time, the communication with the manager was sparse. If a more realistic timeline was provided upfront we would have felt better about the whole situation. Also, a lower trim component is currently installed, which the dealership promises to update for us.

Going for a new car it can be very stressful but Pedro at McGovern Kia in Norwood made the job very easy. He did a wonderful job covering all the options we had, and all the different models. The model that he directed us to had every safety feature that I ever wanted and more than I ve seen on any other brand out there. He got the car ready for us in record time and set up all the automatic options so that there was almost no learning curve. Ask for Pedro Oliveira and I guarantee that you will be happy with the car buying experience.

Overall Excellent Experience. I was looking for a Kia Sportage Hybrid EX, when I saw they had the color and interior I was looking for it was a matter of understanding if they still had it in stock. Since I had helped my son purchase one in May 2023, I knew exactly what I wanted. I spoke to Alex, who connected me to Brandon Hilton. I explained to Brandon on my 1st call exactly what I wanted to do, and let him know it will be a smooth process from my side.Brandon exceeded my expectations and we wrapped up the sale of the vehicle that same day. So from first interaction to completed sale was all done the same day, in less than 8 hours from when we first spoke. Buying a car is a hassle, we all know it and I try my best to limit the amount of time it will take, Brandon was great at helping me do so.We had a few back and forth quick calls after our initial discussion, I then drove to the dealership, and we went through the process at the end of the day. Everyone I met and interacted with was friendly and helpful. Riley in finance was excellent as well, got a great rate through Kia Finance, he made the transaction as smooth as possible, he also answered a few questions I did have. Brandon made sure we took care of insurance so they could get the registration done.During the process and since then Brandon has been extremely responsive to any questions and help, I may have needed. I highly recommend Brandon and McGovern Kia.

This dealership was acquired recently, and has improved in its service. I will be going here when it comes time to update my car! Highly recommended.

I arrived 1.5 hrs early and they didn t hesitate to take my car. The gentlemen that checked me in said that the services needed could potentially take a few hours but that they would work as fast as they could. I got myself and my son situated into the waiting room. 20 minutes into my wait, I recieved a text stating the name of the person servicing my vehicle and that I could use that number to text the technician any questions or comments. Shortly after, I received two more texts stating completion of each of the two recalls that I came in for. The entire service was completed in 45 min! The gentleman that was handling my check in and service details, reminded me that he did his best to get us out quickly. He even made sure to park my car in a way that made it easy to load my son back into the car. I was more than happy with the service. Thanks

Recently visited McGovern KIA to looking for a new car to replace our Prius. We were interested in small SUV and wanted to test drive it. We were assisted by Brandon Hilton. James was courteous and understanding of my needs when servicing my car. Service was completed within the estimated time. He also made sure to check against any outstanding recalls (there were none) to make sure everything was taken care of. This is why I keep taking my car here for service season after season
