My family and I have been customers of Sullivan Tire for many years; I come from an automotive family, worked in the industry and have met members of the Sullivan family through those years all wonderful experiences. I don t think I have ever written a negative review, but I feel compelled to report the experience I had with the Washington Street, Norwell location, which in my opinion was both a potentially life-threatening situation followed by a shameful display of customer interaction, entirely missing every standard of excellence I have known Sullivan to be over the years.Sat 11/11 - I bring my Jeep for service an oil change and diagnostic of a check engine light; vehicle is showing no signs of performance failure. I m told the CEL is a faulty emission sensor and sticking thermostat no problem. I m told other items can be proactively replaced (bulbs, wipers, air filter, serpentine belt) - I agree, a ~$1400 service.Picking up, the Jeep appears to be hastily parked crooked, skewed, barely in the space. I start the car and think I hear a strange sound, but it did not immediately repeat; applying gas and pulling onto the road the car instantly lurched, would barely move, produces visible smoke/vapor from under the hood with a persistent grinding. I was lucky to get the car off of the road, barely into the adjacent shopping center this happening would have been captured on any road cameras the town of Norwell has or any commercial surveillance in the area. Very fortunate that I had no one else in the car with me and I did not attempt to pull out across any lanes or oncoming traffic.I walk to the shop, explain what happened, am accompanied by employees to the car, who were able to get the car ~100 yards back in the shop. Inside, several technicians and I stood over the open hood discussing the belt noise, grinding, and still visible smoke/vapor, which one technician said may be water evaporating off the radiator/engine since the engine bay was just cleaned from the thermostat job and the engine was just fired up more on that. All would be captured by any CCTV inside having this discussion around the smoking engine. Despite this, I was still charged (and required to pay) in full for everything and was obviously not able to take the car.Mon 11/13 Rob L calls - the car now needs a new drive train module ~$560. I express my disappointment that not only am I now paying for another repair, but that I could have been killed due to the original. Rob tells me he would cover the labor for the new module (which he had just described as plug and play ). I ask who is in charge of the location / if I could speak with someone to escalate I m told Rob was in charge and there s no one else. I ask the name of the technician who test drove my car Rob answered that he did it personally. I ask how that could have been that the car was test driven after the service and there was no belt noise, grinding, visible smoke/vapor from the engine, performance issues no explanation. I ask the route the car was test driven to understand how this could possibly make sense, only to be told somewhere down 228 , despite Rob telling me seconds ago that he personally did the test drive that supposedly occurred less than 48hr ago.There was a loud belt noise, visible smoke/vapor from under the hood, the car could barely function how was this given back to a customer? If the smoke/vapor was in fact just water splash on the engine / radiator evaporating after the service, why did this not evaporate during the thorough test drive that supposedly occurred? Parts can go at anytime , but they didn t - the car went in the custody of this group and either they directly or indirectly caused this, followed by not testing the car, or out of all the years these issues could arise, it was my exact turn of the ignition this day that suddenly and instantly spawned this situation incredibly hard to believe. This was not reflective of what I have always known the Sullivan group to be and I am just glad disaster was avoided.

Some of the benefits of being a client of Sullivan Tire are reliable, friendly, professional and customer-focused service reps at the front desk and in the service bays as well. We all know you don't see that everywhere, but we always see it at Sullivan Tire. And the prices are reasonable and the service is excellent - every time!That's why we've been clients since 1997. Five. Stars by far. Very friendly staff. Long story short I bought a used truck that had wide wheels on it and when I put my snow plow on and lifted it up, the wheels were hitting the fender. I found this out about six hours before a snowstorm, I called these guys and they fit me in within an hour of closing and were able to put new tires on my stock wheels so I could swap them out and plow that night. Will be back for sure

Everyone I encountered was so pleasant and helpful, from the scheduling of the appointment to the mechanics changing my tires!! And my appointment took exactly the amount of time I was told. I was highly impressed with the level of service!

Amazing customer service! The handbrake on my 2005 Volvo S40 wouldn't release. The dealership wouldn't even look at the car for a week. The Sullivan team got me in straightaway, diagnosed the issue, and had me on my way within the hour! Beyond that, they were personable, honest, and all around good dudes! We recently moved to the area and I'll absolutely be going back for all my future auto service needs. Thanks Sullivan

We were in a scramble to get our tires changed before a weekend trip and Sullivan Tire came through for us! We got a great deal for the 4 tires and the car was ready within the timeframe we needed. The shop is immaculate and the staff is welcoming and knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to recommend the Norwell Sullivan Tire and use them again for our other vehicles in the future. A job truly well done! Our sincerest thanks.

Our experience could not have been better!From finding the right tires online; putting in the order; scheduling the appointment; receiving a confirmation of our appointment . all was easy and reassuring.At the time of our appointment, checkin was simple, the PEOPLE WERE ALL SO NICE, we were taken right in and were told we would get a call when everything was ready.The call came much earlier than expected and we picked up all our new tires, all mounted, and ready to go.Very pleasant experience - people, product and service.Thank you

Went in looking to have my tire patched. I explained that I had a slow leak and that I needed a plug and internal patch. they DID NOT EVEN look at my tire and said there was nothing they could do and I just need a new tire. LMFAOOOO

Jim, Joe, Fred and the whole Norwell crew deliver top-notch service! We bring all of our cars to them for all services, which have included two Porsches and a Mercedes, a Jeep, and our children s Subarus. Before finding them (recommended by a friend with a Porsche), we used to bring our Porsches up to the Porsche dealership in Nashua because the service team at the local dealer was that bad. We ve been 100% happy with Sullivan Tire over probably 10+ years and can t recommend them enough! My parents depended on Sullivan for tires when I was growing up and now we depend on them for everything to keep our cars well-maintained.

I LOVE my Car Care Team at the Queen Anne s Corner in Norwell, MA. They take good care of me and my car. I m always greeted by name and with a smile. They treat each customer with respect and are always happy to help anytime I show up. I m a customer at this location for life!! Great Customer Service!!

I have had my car serviced and bought tires at the Norwell location. I have found the staff there to be professional and helpful. They always take time to explain any work that may needed. They have a driver, Al who can take you to work or where you have to be while your car is being serviced. He is always polite and remembers your drop off stop. The front desk staff is great.

I have taken me cars to sullivan auto service many time.Every experience has been very good. They have all information on my car in their system,which makes the visit very easy. the mechanical technician Ramon has been amazing giving the correct info on my car, then completing the work to the car. My daughter also visits here with her car as well.

Almost as important as getting the right stuff for your car is not getting stuff you don't need.(Many of us don't know cars well, and we're at the mercy of the mechanic...)I called up Joe at this Sullivan Tires location yesterday, told him my car's tire kept losing air, it has some gouges on the side, we agreed it was going to need to be replaced. He found a replacement and got it shipped there yesterday afternoon.When I went there -- actually when my wife went there -- the good people at Sullivan Tires found a nail in the tire and patched it, instead of replacing it! I wouldn't have known if it was un-fixable, I really thought it was. Instead, they fixed it, which was much less expensive for me.They did the right thing. To the point that I'm going to the trouble of posting a review of them for it. And I'll keep going there for life!!

Exceptional customer service at the Queen Anne s location. They recommend what work is needed and what can wait. Wouldn t take my car anywhere else for tires, brake work and more. Front desk staff is awesome!

On our way home to Vermont, our 91 Mercedes sedan had a detached shock tower. The professionals at Sullivan Tire got the part ordered right away and installed it right away when it arrived. We were back on the road in less than 2 hours. I was able to work from the waiting room thanks to the WiFi, and everything was neat and clean. Thanks, Sullivan Tire!

Great service - were able to help me fix up my 16yo car to great working condition. Friendly, communicative, and honest work what they could/couldn't do. Straightforward, non-pressured recommendations and advice. I'm planning on making this my preferred service station.

Excellant and prompt service on an oil change, but a troublesome oil leak. The mechanic took the time to diagnose properly a nagging and difficult problem to me. Earlier in the week on a separate order they treated my daughter extremely fairly and saved her money. Even earlier I bought a set of run flat tires of high quality for a 528 BMW that saved a significant amount over dealer specials.

Absolutely horrible time this past Saturday. Brought car in morning to have 4 tires replaced at the Norwell facility. Called later to see if ready and went in to pick up around 4:30. Had said that a ball joint will need to be replaced, and said that I will do next week sometime as part had to be ordered. They showed me where the car was, as I had prepaid, and I then went to the locked car and drove away, thinking all was fine. 3 minutes after driving away, I noticed that my phone was not charging with the charger and opened the deep storage box where plugged in. The charger was unplugged and everything was all a mess . I pulled over and and noticed that more importantly, my full blue change holder, which my Fiancee and I had just used 2 minutes before dropping the car off to buy coffee, was stolen with at least $20 of coins inside. I then noticed that the passenger floor was littered with napkins and kleenex from the glove compartment and opened it to find all just stuffed in. I then turned around and went back to the facility. Upon notifying the manager, he said all are very honest and neat and that surprised him! He asked to see the car and at that time found 8-9 coins under my seat and 2 coins on my seat itself. He said the the worker probably had to get the wheel lock. We then both went to the back of the car and opened the door to see what it was like there. It was a disaster. He had ripped apart where the tire well is and pushed all into a pile and left it in disarray ! Manager said that shouldn't have been done like that, and was sorry. He then said would clean up and put the change in a plastic cup which had been in my seat back and said all set.You need to hire honest people and people with people skills. I would recommend that nobody use this facility in it's current state.

We took our car here in a pinch when it started to make a grinding noise the morning we were supposed to go home to NY. They took us without a reservation, within 2 hours they had fixed what turned out to be rock stuck by the Break Pad and we were on our way home all at No Charge!There is a sign over the office there that says "we treat every customer like family". They clearly do! Very great full and impressed. We will be telling all our family up here to use them!Thank you guys again!

No matter what Sullivan Tire shop I take my car to, the staff there make me feel welcome and my car well taken care of. They typically fix the problem in a very reasonable time, and in the very few instances, over my half century of drivng, that the problem recurred, they jump right on to fix it again quickly. You just can't get better service or more expert workmanship.I would like to give special recognition to Jim Resendes at the Norwell store, to Eric Jeppe at the Hanover store, and to Brian and his great crew in Kingston!

Went in for a nail in my tire right before closing. Was worried it wouldn t be fixed right away but They had me in and out in less than 20 minutes. Staff was super friendly and kind I would recommend this place.

had an alignment done here where they discovered i had a bolt stuck in my tire. recently i had a problem with one of my valve stems.They plugged my tire and unclogged my valve stem for free. They took me in right away. This location is next to THE BIG Y. There is plenty of parking nearby.

I know this place well if you care about your car or your money never go in here. For a fact they prey on elderly and female drivers i could write a book on the dirty scams and predatory tactics I've seen coming out of this place in the past decade if you have to go there get a second opinion from a professional tech anywhere else. Before you let them touch your vehicle. TIP OF THE YEAR AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST

Went above and beyond to make sure anything that was going to fail on my car got fixed before causing more damage. Also somehow got my car fixed within a day and under their quote!!! Joe is awesome!!!!
