Dr. Auto did a fantastic job on my truck did some auto body work on my Tundra. Can't even tell where the damage was. price was right. Very efficient this was my first time bringing my truck to the Dr. Let's just say he has a new patient now.

No wonder this place gets such high reviews. I can t even begin to tell you how please I am. I have magnetic drive suspension and went to three places. I got outrageous quotes especially the dealer. Those of you who have magnetic suspension know what I m talking about. It s hard to find a shop that gives you excellent quality service to your vehicle and reasonable price as well. I trust these guys and I appreciate them. From reviews I read you all fell the same way. Thanks Joe and the staff, my truck is perfect.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Not recommended. They markup some parts over 100%, charge ridiculously high "shop fees" and they probably did over 600 bucks worth of uneccessary repairs due to mechanic incompetence. They had to take it down the street for repair, had it for a week and then wanted ME to pay for diags they incurred for there own incompetance. The fact that they have a 4.8 star rating really tells a tale how bad and corrupt the auto repair business is in general. Joe is a really nice guy but if I were you I wouldn't trust these guys with a major repair as you may end up paying big bucks for their error.

Took car in for dead battery. Got a nice text with pictures and explanations of recommended services and prices. Opting in was as easy as replying to the text. Very responsive, no nonsense. Thank you

The staff there were very kind. Even if I didn't have an appointment, they attended to my car in 15 minutes. They even go beyond by checking my car for anything that needs fixing. I recommend going there for your car.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

Joe, Anthony, and the rest of the staff at Doctor Auto are truly wonderful. I ve been taking our cars here since we moved to Chelmsford a couple years ago & I m so grateful to have found them. The 20 point inspection summary, with photos and a breakdown of priorities, provides transparency into the health of your vehicle & is a great way to be proactive in maintenance (I used to be reactive!).Being able to quickly schedule appointments online and receive text reminders/inspection reports is a huge bonus that not many shops offer.They ve never pressured me for a service and I trust their work.

We used Dr. Auto for an issue with the alternator on our 2011 Cadillac CTS. We had a great experience from start to finish. We were able to get an appointment in a timely manner and received an estimate to replace the alternator, serpentine belt and a recommendation to replace the battery as well. We gave the go ahead to proceed and we got the car back the following day. As it turned out the belt was in good shape so didn t need to be replaced, lowering the cost of the original estimate. The service manager was efficient in communicating, did not perform unnecessary repairs and had our vehicle back in a timely manner. We have multiple other vehicles in our family and we will definitely be using Dr. Auto again. Highly recommend!

Doctor Auto and Joe are just the best. They never try to overcharge you or trick you -- they are honest and reasonable and fast and just generally awesome. I've been taking my car to Joe since I moved to Lowell in 2011, when I asked people where I should go, and everyone said Joe. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I highly recommend this place. I've been to many small auto shops where the owners/front desk clerk's are miserable/disgruntled and could care less about you and your car. Joes attitude and professionalism is top notch. He always goes above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied.

Doctor Auto services our fleet of 9 vans. We need a quick turn around on repairs. Joe always gets vans repaired by next day. Doctor auto prices are reasonable. We are very happy with the service and way we are treated. I have gone to Joe at Doc Auto for many years for a few of our family cars, from oil change to general maintenance upkeep; Got a replacement gas tank once, probably some other things that I m forgetting. Doctor Auto is the only mechanic I use! Called Joe to schedule an appointment for some maintenance work and dropped my truck and keys the night before the appointment.Joe kept me posted throughout the day and even alerted me to some bad rear rotors which was addressed. Joe went as far as staying late to make sure I had my truck the next day which is above and beyond in my book. Joe s shop always does quality work and at a great price.Service: Auto engine tuning

I have an older car. I started going here after my dad suggested it. My grandfather was a mechanic that trusted this family whole heartedly. They are so thorough, I just went in for an oil change and headlight out. They inspect whole car and send in a report to you for what may be upcoming next visit. I actually received a text that my oil was due exactly when it was. I'm completely at ease with there knowledge of automobile's.Again thorough, friendly and accommodating. Try them out you will not be disappointed!
