Got right in first thing this morning. Mayson took my car right away and my oil change was completed in 30 minutes. Staff at the desk are always so personable and friendly. It makes getting car work done much more enjoyable and less intimidating than at other shops I have been to before. Keep up the good work guys!

I have been going to Pro Tire and Tune since they opened. They always treat me right and do not upsell me on things I do not need. They also have loaner cars when getting a significant service which is so convenient. Andy and his crew are the best! Our car broke down on our way home from Massachusetts to New Jersey and Andy was able to get the part and have the car back on the road in a short time. They didn't know us, we were not repeat customers and they knew they would probably never do business with us again (because we live 5 hours away) and they still took care of us like better than some other places I have been to multiple times. The one thing that stands out the most though is that the next business day, Andy sent me a text to make sure the car was ok and to make sure we got home with no more issues. If I lived in Massachusetts this would be my mechanic for all of my vehicles. Thank you to everyone at Pro Tire & Tune for the work you did so me and my fiancee could get back on the road and get home.

Despite their popularity, Andy always tries to fit me in when there is an urgent need. He's accomodated me with transportation issues, emergency repair needs and repeat visits concerning a "mysterious noise" that never would occur when the mechanics test drove my car.So, ProTire feels like an old-fashioned shop that sees me as a person, not just a nameless face passing through. I really appreciate that, and I like they also have a comfortable waiting area for those waiting around for their cars. Doesn't hurt they are walking distance to Panera Bread, Dunkin' Donuts, a great Italian foods place and a variety of other nearby shops.

Andy was great called me every time I needed to know anything job was done fast and accurately. Second time using there services been totally satisfied. And the fact that they offer loaner cars is a great help.

100% great mechanics honest give you a quote and that s the final price checked up on you how are your car is when you get it back Never had a problem my cars have been there for reasons always fixed first time also gave me a loaner for Christmas amazing thanks guys

Andy and his team are great, I take my truck in for oil changes and inspection stickers, I wait while they do it.. 45 minutes to an hour the work is complete. They won t try to sell you anything you don t need.

Safety inspection cost me a fortune. Not only no sympathy, but the owner/manager was hostile and aggressive. He is not only hard to get along with, but has a temper and a long memory. The idea that "the customer is always right". is definitely not his motto. Given his temper he will probably say nasty things about me in reply to this (look at his other responses to complaints).The incidentAfter it failed inspection he would not tell me why it failed - he just repeated the entry on the failure form "Front End Suspension", and said to bring it in for an estimate. When I told him I did not do repairs at the station that rejected the car, he went after me. Note: I have had my mechanic tell me "that repair was not necessary" in the past (another inspection station).When I returned the repaired car he looked at it for some time (way longer than my mechanic took to find a problem), probably looking for a way to fail it.When he returned the car to me he said: "If you are not doing your oil changes and repairs here, then don't come back. Get your sticker somewhere else!". His temper causes him to break the rules and cause bad reviews. Plus, he is demanding that money be paid above and beyond the state inspection fee.Previous incidentTwo inspections ago he rejected my wiper blades, saying the assemblies were loose. He replaced them & the price was agreeable. I retrieved the rejected parts from him and put them back on the car until the next inspection. For that inspection I removed them & put his new ones on. Same thing this inspection. So, his inspections can be picky when it will put money in his pocket.If you have your own mechanic (or do your own repairs) I suggest going elsewhere for inspections. If you want a stress-free experience, you have another good reason to go elsewhere. You can tell from the length of his one-star reviews that he gets people upset.Service: Vehicle safety inspection

As always I had great service with a very knowledgeable and top notch staff. I have used them for 15 years for all my automotive needs. The owner is a terrific person who always greets people with a friendly smile and by the way laughs at my jokes. edit: i never asked for a discount, i only told him that his prices were too high. got the work done elsewhere for 1/3 of the price. had my car towed here in an emergency. staff was rude, dismissive & dishonest. when family member left room gave me one price & when i returned he raised the price 50$. never returning. feel free to 'clap back' at my review all you want, but people will see the truth when they walk in and recieve your terrible service. perhaps spend more time on actually fixing cars & less time on internet arguments & swindling customers.

Love the workmanship at shop. My Mom & late Dad have been coming here for years. They are always courteous & reliable& decently priced! I recently needed a rush brake job & they did it with 2 hrs before closing without any issue. I will continue to be loyal to them. I highly recommend them to anyone!!!!!All The Best

Pro Tire and Tune is great! I've had excellent service and when I've compared prices for the work needed, they've seemed to be very reasonable. Brought my car in after getting some work done because there was a strange noise happening and it was a small fix that they did for free which was really great!Last time I was there for some bigger fixes, I was at the shop for a while since I didn't want to borrow their loaner car. Ended up watching a movie with Andy, one of the guys that works there. LolKinda sad I'm moving away from Billerica soon, it's rare to find a good auto repair place I feel like I can actually trust.

Had to bring my car in for a flat tire, bad wheel bearing & a new battery on a separate occasion. Andy took the time to walk me through the work they had done and what they tested. Price was fair and turn around time was fantastic (same day for both issues). The free loaner so I could get to work was greatly appreciated, I would feel comfortable going back. Thank you Andy!

They are excellent general mechanics, both at routine maintaining and at fixing problems. They have cleaned up a mess made on a family member's car by another mechanic. They have referred me to an excellent transmission specialist when my transmission self-destructed, so I know they will not try to fix things they cannot understand. They have told me to get rid of a vehicle instead of fixing it. They have gotten the car fixed extra soon because of my schedule. They have a large clean small-child friendly bathroom, and free coffee and tea. They are just the best car repair place I have ever dealt with.I have no business connection except as a satisfied customer.It is entirely possible as another reviewer said that you might find a cheaper place to get things fixed, but in terms of being treated well and having one's problems solved, I have never encountered anyone better.They have been good, but not perfect, at reminding me of routine maintenance whenever I get the oil changed. That regular maintenance has made all the difference in me not getting stranded.

Brought jeep wrangler in for fuel injector replacement and had check engine light come on shortly after I left. Andy got me back within a few minutes and into a loaner. They got to the bottom of the issue quickly and had me back on the road. Great shop!

I recently stopped by Pro Tire and Tune to see if they had time to change the oil on my car. They were able to take the car shortly after my arrival. I was later informed that one of the ball joints on the front needed to be replaced. Having recalled this being mentioned to me a few months ago, I had the new replacement installed. I was offered a vehicle to use while the work was done which was great. It's amazing how well the car rides. Thank you Pro Tire Team.

I couldn't have asked for a better job/experience. My breaks completely gave out on my way to work - I ended up towing my car here. Given the extent of issues my car/breaks had, the job took about 24 hours - But they gave me a great loaner vehicle. My car honestly drives and feels more sturdy than it did when I bought it.I won't be going anywhere else but here for maintenance. I highly recommend it.

I moved last year and switch my business to Pro Tire & Tune.. the front desk and Ted are very helpful and answered all my questions on the process and the price before we started; the mechanics do a great job and provide quick service; Andy the owner follows up with customers and takes a personal approach to customer service.I usually keep my mechanic for 5 plus years and I will definitely be giving them my business whenever possible!

My car had terrible suspension and the brakes were grinding. They looked at it right away as soon as I brought it in! Then they came to me at the pizza place next door to tell me what was wrong and how much it would cost to fix it. I was able to pay what I could upfront and then the rest over the next two months. They were so friendly, smiled, and had my car ready the next day by noon! They even insisted I borrow a Lexus from them for no extra charge so I would have a car for the day. They even texted me a few days later to make sure it was still running well.Great service, great outcome, great timing, and I paid $1700 in total for all of that work and speed. I m grateful for them!

I got a pre-purchase inspection here for a used car I was interested in. I scheduled an appointment and was told it would cost $109, which was a bit steep but I was fine considering it due-diligence on an investment (car). My other party showed up slightly early despite telling me that they will be late. The shop put the car in for inspection even though I was not there to look at its condition before hand. The seller had promised to clean the interior and I wanted to make sure that was done and was done to my satisfaction. Furthermore, the manager of this place was chatting up with the seller when I arrived and was very snooty towards me, even though I was his customer. This made me doubt their interests and the whole pre-purchase inspection. Their inspection however thorough, gave me little confidence in what was inspected and how well, as the manager was very unwilling to give me answers to any specific questions I had. I had noticed slight stiffness in the steering etc. Even on the checkout sheet they wrote everything is in order, no specifics like what was tested etc.I ended up buying the vehicle hesitantly trusting their inspection, but as soon as I registered the car, I took it to a toyota dealership to get it checked. I felt like I flushed the $109 down the toilet.Rather snooty staff, try to stay away if you can.

Would not replace headlight bulbs if I bought my own bulbs (which I had my own already). I didn t expect it to be done for free, but when I mentioned I had my own bulbs the guy said they wouldn t service me. The obvious reason is that they want to up-charge you for parts. L and A Auto shop down the street helped me out, so they got my business. Wouldn t trust this place. Recommend the shop down the road.Response: So you put in an alternator for a customer without checking if it was compatible with their car or not? And no, I do not bring my own meat to McDonalds, but it is incredibly easy to check to see which bulbs are needed in a car. And check that with the bulb I supply. Essentially, confirming a bulb will work in a car is incredibly easy.
