I decided to give this place a try despite all the bad reviews , I figured my old 97 civic would be one of the easiest cars they can work on so I expected them to do a decent job . They were charging cheaper than most other glass companies in the area but if you look at the photos the money I saved wasn t worth it . Worker cut off a chunk of my windshield wiper cowl, which is the plastic section that is in between the hood and windshield . He cut the chunk out while cutting the old windshield out and I didn t notice until next day . Worker didn t say a word , he cleaned up and left quickly. I even removed the hood to make the job easier for them I left 2 stars since the new windshield isn t leaking at least and luckily since it s an old Honda I was able to get a used windshield cowl for $50 at junkyard . If they couldn t do an old simple Honda without damaging something I would NOT trust them with a newer vehicle. Also worker removed rear view mirror to replace windshield and did not reinstall it

Worst service ever!!Mesure taken wrong. Never came to fix the probem.They charged before install . I was mistreted .Whoever answer the phone burst out and become agressive as soon as you express a concern.I would not do bussiness ever again with them.

After having a windshiels put in at Ocean Glass Company in Billerica I realized that my car starter didn't work, so went in there twice this week and was greated by a very rude obnoxious and condesending man who I just found out today (my third trip this week) was the Owner, Brian. All I was asking is for him to check and see if maybe the wires that are located in the upper left hand side of my windshield were pinched or cut, instead I was made to feel like I was there to take advantage of or just bothering him.I have to say that his employees are very professional and courteous, and also witnessed how rude, nasty and condescending he was to them also.I will never take my business there and will let everyone I know just how I was treated and to find another glass company that treats not only his customers right but also his employees.Brian, you need to take classes for Customer Service to learn how to treat people the way you yourself would like to be treated because we are the people that keep you in busines.Tyler and the rest of the guys that work there, there are other places that treat their employers with respect, and you all deserve better......One last thing, "WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND" and some day you'll get what you deserve.

Failed to order the right windshield replacement twice. Never an apology for multiple delays. It was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a company. The owner is rude despite no complaining on my part.

I've used Ocean Glass for several years on my personal cars and called them once again to replace one for a customer of mine. The scheduling process was easy. The installers Tony and Anthony showed up on time and we're able to install the glass quicker than initially quoted!! I'm happy with the results and will highly recommend them and continue to use them!!Service: Installation

I was able to schedule a next day appointment. They were happy to come to my work after several other repair places said they could not fix my windshield unless it was on sight. Customer beware! If I could give them negative stars I would. Ocean Glass was used by my contractor to install glass in a shower enclosure. They consistently never showed up on the day scheduled for measurements, install, etc. When they finally installed the glass, they didn't have all the components in the right size to finish the job and said they would have to order it and come back. (Plus I had to supply a table for their mitre saw since they didn't seem stocked for the job from the two vans that showed up at my house. ) Almost two weeks later I am still waiting for them to finish installing the silicone gaskets on the shower door. The manager/owner (Brian Lewis) laughs off my concerns, is completely snide, condescending, and patronizing and doesn't seem to care to get the job done. He even told me if I have a tile floor, it shouldn't matter if the water splashes through the gap in the side and door panels. And the kicker was he tried to blame me for his inability to adhere to a committed schedule and his repeated blowing me off for the one time I needed to step out of the house and accidentally left my phone at home and was not there to answer his call. My contractor and his fabulous crew have been wonderful and I would heartily recommend them for any remodeling job. Ocean Glass is run by a complete a$$, and I will tell people to take their business elsewhere.

Watch out the president Blake Lewis will try to seduce your wife and when she trys to say no pulls her pants down and puts it in anyway definitely would not recommend this company

After 3 frustrating failed attempts at Safelite, I gave these guys a call. Professional, 'small-shop-feel' with personal service. Delivered above and beyond service. I called Ocean Glass in Billerica last Friday. They claim the glass were were going to use was brocken for Friday installationand had to order the glass from Conneticut and would come on Monday between 11:00 -11:30..They came at 11:45 with the wrong glass that was supposeed to be ordered from CT and not the one they ordered and their truck stunk of POT as I walked past it then they claim they had to go back to the shop and get the correct glass. They were very rude so naturally I got rude back. I treat people the way they treat me. I called the shop to complain and he also was very rude and unprofessional.I will never, ever use Ocean Glass again. Very unprofessional.

I would like to give 0 starts for the customer service I received from the owner but it's not an option. I recieved a new windshield a few days ago-was assured that I would not need to have it re-calibrated, the guys that came out to my house were very nice , however when I went to use my back up camera it is off-it is showing the top of my car-I called and spoke w/a Brian I think he said was his name-told me he was the owner of the shop-he told me the camera is located in the back therefore it isn't them-which it is-and when I tried to figure out a time to come to the shop so they could look at it-he started screaming and insulting me and wouldn't let me speak and went on a tirade as to how he hates Americans and how they act. I want to be clear I tried to apologize if I had come off rude-which I didn't think I did-and he started yelling again about me needing to be an adult-he was off the rails I would NEVER DO BUSINESS with them again. And online it is saying it could cost me $300-$600 to have the recalibration done!! NEVER AGAIN and I will make sure that I spread the wordService: Auto windshield replacement

A friend of mine suggested this place for my glass shower doors i needed for a bathroom remodel. Their estimator came and took some measurements, offered me plenty of glass options and discussed prices with me. He was professional and helpful. After I told him what i wanted, he had it ordered and within a week they scheduled me for installation. The woman i spoke with on the phone was nice and made everything so easy for me. Their tech came and had the installation done within a few hours. No mess, everything fit perfectly, they did it exactly how I needed. Will surely be my first choice for window repairs if i ever need it.Service: Auto glass repair

Is there a way to give 0 stars???? Very condescending attitude. Tried to get them to quote changing some windows, they could not schedule a time to visit, but would only call in AM to provide a time. Kind of tough to schedule your day when they can't even give you a time in advance. They went on about they want to be efficient on where their techs go and when. Seems everyone else can handle this without having to wait until day of appointment. On day of appointment, since did not hear yet, called at ~8:45AM, no answer but left a message. I already was expecting that I would not be doing business with them, but at 11:45 called and they answered. I told them we had an appointment today and they were supposed to call in AM to give me a time. Very quickly the person answering went off and started lecturing me about how he was doing this for 41 years and how no one should ever wait for a tradesperson etc.... I had no time for this nonsense. Clearly, he hasn't learned the basics in business, or just communication. Just hung up. Already spent more time with than they deserved.

Bad business practice. They say they will call you, but never call you. And treat you like you need them. I have never dealt with business so bad and unmanaged. I should have followed others review and gone somewhere else. They lost a small piece of aluminum glass base which I gave them for measurements. And they wouldn t do anything about it. They were so irresponsibleHorrible business please stay away.

My wife got a windshield replaced and when she walking in the older guy to the left side of the desk was rude and lazy, didn t want to really talk to her. And the guy the did the windshield was chain smoking cigarettes right outside the door while it was open, they left a bunch of debris in the car after. On the positive side, the younger kid tyler was very nice and helpful, i m sure he could excel with another company that cared about there work and costumers.Service: Auto windshield replacement

Stay away, rude people. The driver even told me to go somewhere else after he came with the wrong windshield, and the insurance company doesn't recommend them the owner is street scum

Whoever drives the company van keeps speeding onto my street and has almost hit me and my family multiple times! If you're driving near the place, be careful as they also don't pick up their glass shards and have filled the Vietnam veterans park that's nearby with it!

Horrible, unprofessional Since February still not completed. Had shower doors installed, overcharged, broken parts and more importantly leaked. Gen Manager as he says he is is arrogant and that is being nice. Came into my home and screamed at me. Blamed my tiler, his installers cracked a tile. Still waiting for door handle to be replaced and plastic stripping that was cracked. Can t get anywhere with them. I could go on and on. Plus they overcharged me, charged my credit card without authorization. Can only say don t ever use them!

My husband brought a windshield from an antique car to have metal trim put on the outside with new gaskets. The owner was trying to put the trim on with a rubber mallet and chipped the windshield so bad that it was no good. He said he would replace the glass. My husband was going to pay for it. The owner let it sit for 2-3 weeks and never touched it. When my husband went in to inquire about it the owner was rude. My husband took the windshield and left.If you are looking to have any glass work done, I would suggest going elsewhere. They are unprofessional, unfriendly, and incompetent!

We chose to do business with Ocean Glass and mirror recently. Bad Idea! They were quick to come by to check the damage to a slider door window and gave me an estimate for $500. I said go ahead and replace the glass. Initially I had to call them 3 times as they were unable to get my credit card information to work, but the third time was a charm. This was about end of June. A month later I called to check the status of the glass and was told we are waiting to receive it, everything is backed up due to COVID 19. Fair enough. I get a call on August 7th saying we can come and install now, the glass was delivered. Took the day off and said let s do it! Installers came only to pack up half hour later because the glass was too big for the slider door! So initial measurements were recorded incorrectly. I called Ocean Glass and spoke to a Service Manager named YASMIN. Initial conversation was good, she apologized and said we are sorry for the inconvenience, we ll make it up to you. Everything you want to hear, right? She s asking me, Do you know who took the measurements? I told her last, how do you expect me to remember the guys name a month later? Don t you have it written down who goes to job sites? I guess she didn t like that. I called her back the following day, they offered a $50 discount, after I took a day off from work and lost way more than that. I said no thanks! I requested a refund and a refund receipt, I didn t want to do business with them anymore. Yasmin calls me back the same day in the afternoon saying she s trying to communicate with me; to inform me that she misplaced the refund receipt. So I said, No problem, just write me another refund receipt and send it. She started to talk over me at this point, trying to make excuses about how she ll get back to me later. I hung up on her while she was huffing and puffing. Make story short I still haven t received a refund receipt or a refund from this company. Yasmin said I d receive my refund within 3 business days. It s going to be a week! Please do yourself a favor, avoid the headache and find some else. Hope this review helps along with all the other negative reviews you see here!

The guy came out to take measurements of my windows. There are multiple windows of different sizes that need glass replacement. I talked to him and explained what I wanted, he seemed to understand, and he said I would get the quote that day or the next. He was very friendly, it all seemed good.Then when the quote didn't come after 3 days, I emailed to ask for it. I was sent a dollar amount for the job that seemed ridiculously low. I asked to see the written quote and they sent me something that was not at all what I asked for - just one measurement and priced for plexiglass replacement. But it was my name and address, so it was apparently my quote. I wrote an email to say this is not what I asked for, and I clarified again what I wanted and asked if they could provide a quote for that, like I had discussed with the guy who came to my house. No response. I wrote again the next day and asked if they could provide what I am asking for. Still no response. I don't want to work with this company anymore. This is a bad sign, forget it. I'll go to a different glass company....

If you're reading this, it's because you're considering Ocean Glass for a repair job. DONT. RUN. RUN FAR FAR AWAY. Literally pick anyone else. Never have I ever been treated so rudely by a business.I needed to have two window panes replaced in my house in the dead of winter. I spoke with the owner, set up time to drop them off a week in the future and he assured me that he would have the panes prefabricated so that I could reinstall the windows that night so as to not have my daughter sleeping in a freezing cold room. Plenty of lead time. Well, 5 minutes after the drop off the excuses began. The panes weren't there. They would have to be brought in. Ok, mistakes happen. But the way I was treated and spoke to was so rude, condescending, and inappropriate especially when ocean glass was the one who made the error. I was asked if I understood English. I was made to feel dumb and as if I was the one who made the mistake. I was sworn at. On speaker phone. With my 4 year old in the car.I'm paid half of the cost of the job ahead of time to have the glass cut. He then insisted on full payment before the job was completed. And after all that, one of the panes that was prefabricated was the wrong size. At this point I decided to take my ball and go home. No point in talking to this joker anymore.If you're still reading, I hope my point has come across. TL:DR, find anyone else but this company. I would be shocked if anyone has ever brought repeat business here. I feel bad for this guys customers. And anyone who has to work for this clown.Service: Glass restoration & repair
