Sold me a used headlight that was on a shelf for 375 dollars and had a broken bracket which didn't set well with me thinking it would shake. Couldn't not return they said store credit. I asked if they had another they said no. I told them that's the only thing I need I don't have 375 dollars of stuff I need. So I installed the headlight anyway and this thing leaked water and foggy everyday. The headlight has modules underneath so it didn't work cause the modules were soaked with water. So I lost 375 dollars and have to spend more to fix it not professional at all

Called to ask about a Ford Flex Headlight and was told I could pay $200 for a whole headlight enclosure, or I could come to the yard, pick a headlight out of a Flex that was on site and pay $25. Went there and was laughed at. Bad service, bad liars. WIll never attempt to use again.

Worst junkyard ive ever been too, the staff is highly unprofessional, they literally make up prices on the spot that are ridiculously high, every time ive come here they always charge me a different price.. definitely would not recommend this place Youre better off paying retail price if anything.

Like to give less than one star but there is no way too ,,,we got a engine from these guys, they stated that it has 62k and NO way after pulling the valve cover, like it has 200k a lot oil sludge build up for a 62k engine. What out for their used motors not good business after setting up the deal on getting engine shipped to California they wanted a credit card until the day before they wanted a wire transfer.

Don't bother going here. The parking area for the salvage cars is a mud pit, they won't allow me to park anywhere near the car even though I am a disabled VETERAN, they won't allow me to pay for someone from their staff to check and remove the skid plate I needed, and the moron at the parts desk kept repeating himself over and over like a parrot. Avoid like the plague. I will take my money elsewhere.

My experience here sucked. They had six cars that had the part I needed (a knock sensor for my Camry) but literally all of them were inaccessible because the cars were either precariously perched on top of another in such a way that the car rocked back and forth very sketchily if I tried to climb on the one below and get at the engine over my head, or they were buried beneath another car in such a way that it was impossible to open the hood. Not to mention the fact that every car is piled up with about six inches of space to walk between the ones next to it, so good luck if you need interior parts or a door. I'm a skinny guy and I couldn't even get at any of the cars I needed because they were so tightly spaced and precariously stacked. Basically unless the car you're looking for is on the end of a row, you're gonna spend more time trying to be a monkey and get to the car than you will pulling parts at this place. In addition to that, the organization was terrible. I was told where to find Toyotas, but when I got there, they were maybe three, a long with a bunch of Hyundais, Fords, and Chevys, and I found other Toyotas all over the yard. So, I guess the takeaway is that this place is not very well organized, even for a junkyard, and that the cars a really really hard to get at. So maybe if you don't mind those two problems this place is fine, but I think my time would be better spent driving to a different yard.Would not recommend.

Had a great experience. Called looking for a part and they had one. It was a hard-to-find part.... A standard transmission for a 1st gen Scion xB. They not only had it. They packaged it and shipped it all the way to Florida. It arrived 2 days later - No issues. It's been installed and works as it should. Would definitely recommend.

Their used parts department sold me a part guaranteed to work, which did not work at all and cost me charges which they refused to help out with even though guaranteeing the part would work. Was forced to buy a brand new part due to time constraints, I would have located a different used part from a reputable company if I had known better but I thought their guarantee meant a guarantee.

J... people handle junk care! Most rude people can have experience with it. High price, not helpful. Be careful when you call them. They will only give some information on the phone and be prepared for additional charges. Save your time and money. Positive reviews are fake.

This place is big. Lots of cars and trucks. Great people that can and will help you. They will pull parts for you. But there is a fee.

Asked what the return policy was. Guy just said "30 days". Picked the part off the car, took it home, discovered it was internally damaged. Brought it back. Guy said "store credit only" and pointed to a sign in the window (there are about 50 signs all over this place -- impossible to read them all, and he never said anything about that when I asked for the policy). They don't have another part that would fit. I'm out $200 because of this misleading behavior. They don't want to do the right thing; they just want to take your money.

So far no complaints here This was my first visit. I was greeted with a friendly "Hello" when I entered and I was explained how everything worked. The gentleman behind the counter asked me if I was looking for something particular and when I told him I was, he directed me to where I needed to go to find my part. Easy in & easy out. I would definitely recommend this place and I will be returning again when the need arises! Thank you for a wonderful experience

I called and the man answering was outright rude. I had asked for information on a part and he seemed in a rush to get me off the phone. I have been there a few times when desperate for a part for my car or my families car s.Everyone is usually busy behind the counter and you just stand there waiting for someone to even acknowledge you in their building. When they do interact with you, it s like they are rushed to make a sale and get annoyed the longer you take or if you ask any questions. I ve had better service ordering McDonalds. I ve only seen them be nice to women and what look like regular customers or friends. They make their prices up on the spot; you can see the other comments. I can recall one instance where I asked someone how much my part would be, (I had pulled it from the car and put it on the counter), and he told me $30. I knew I could get the part elsewhere for $15 at any online store but it would just take a while to get to me. I figured I d wait for my part instead of paying double, so I said oh I don t think I ll be taking it then, but thank you and went to walk out of the store, but he then said well wait, I can give it to you for $20 . Now it may be good he lowered the price on my item, but it shows you they try to get top dollar off people who don t know better. They won t even look at you when you walk in the building; they make their prices up on the spot; don t tell each other prices; and they over charge. I feel bad for those who pay the first price they can think of.I would not do business with them again based off all my experiences. I d rather buy a full priced new part anywhere else then deal with anyone behind the counter making up numbers or being rudeI made it two stars because they do have a large selection and have hired new, friendlier people since I wrote the post months ago.

The junkyard has quite the selection. A little of everything and the cars are sectioned alphabetically by make and model. So it is easy to find the car you are looking for, if they do have it in the yard. The only thing i thought was strange ie that no one actually helps you to get the parts you need. I only needed rear view mirror and a center console of which I was able to remove myself but what if i needed something more such as a transmission. Would i have gotten help to remove it? Also when checking out I wanted to take some things out to my car just to see if they were the right size to match my vehicle and even though my vehicle was literally only 15 feet from the checkout area and within eye sight, the guy was rude and refused to allow me the minute needed to check if it was the correct parts. I spent $45 and unfortunately nothing was the correct part for my car out of everything i got.. Only thing i was able to use was the rear view mirror and that was actually stolen from my car the next day so my trip to the junk yard was a complete waste of time and money for me. I don't think they allow for returns so I was pretty bummed out that it all went to waste. Next time I'll be sure to take pics and measurements of my car parts needed before purchasing more replacement parts. Thanks again. Take care.

These guys are great! I go there every week to scrounge around and see whats new. Always carrying out a good selection of parts. Very easy to deal with, and very pleasant! Highly recommended.

I purchased parts from Holland in the past and had a good experience but recently I had to go there three times and call daily for an entire week to only tell me that they can't find the parts that I've already paid for... this was after their website showed that they have 2 of the parts that I was looking for... whats worse their website still shows that they have the parts. STOP WASTING PEOPLES TIME.

It's a pick your part salvage yard where you take off your own parts with your own tools and bring them to the counter to buy. Really good prices, I have been a few times to here and a few other yards, but this one is well organized in rows that are easy to navigate and compared to other yards where I've paid $40 for one basic intake hose from an airbox, this one I can get the same things for half the cost or less. I was able to get two plastic secondary air pipes and a plastic fuel door for $30.I can't speak about their services where they pull the parts for you. All the cars are on the ground or stacked on other cars, so pulling something like a transmission yourself is probably not possible unless the vehicle is still on all 4 tires. Something I wish was common at yards out here compared to yards like Pull-a-part franchises in the south - every car at a Pull-a-part franchise is placed on welded steel rims so you can get at things like axles and drive line stuff. Even a service like pay x dollars to have a car of your choosing forklifted onto blocks or something so you can pull a transfer case or anything underneath would be nice.Overall though, it's one of the better yards in the area I've been to so far. The fair pricing alone so far has been very worth it.

I called today to ask if they had a particular part available, and the man who answered the phone was insanely rude about the whole thing. I am always super polite on the phone, and even thanked him after the fact (although he very obviously didn't "check" if the part was there -- he answered me with a nasty "yeah we don't have it" literally two seconds after I finished asking him). Maybe next time just say, "Sorry, I don't think we have that" in a relatively pleasant tone? There's no reason to get short with the customer when the customer doesn't get short with you!I understand that working in the customer service industry can be difficult and frustrating at times, but if you can't manage to be even moderately polite with customers (especially when there is no problem whatsoever -- I never got mad or anything) then maybe you should be working "behind the scenes" instead and not interfacing with the public. I'm in the process of looking elsewhere for the part, but now that I'm reading all the negative comments about this place I'm glad I didn't go any further with them than the phone call!

The staff was friendly and I got my part quickly. However, when I got to the shop with the ac compressor to get it installed there was a bolt bent and stuck in one of the mount holes. The shop took at the bolt and was able to make it work but that should not have been an issue to start with. Make sure you inspect the parts you pick up so that you do not find yourself in the same situation as mine.

First off do not wear flip flops. This is a dirt and gravel parking lot. Once inside the junkyard the ground is littered with dirt metal and glass particles. Bring your own tools. Vehicles are classified by make and models. You are responsible to remove parts you need. This is NOT a place for children of any age. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Prices good.

Several of my good friends live close to Holland and I try to make the trip when I go to visit. Prices are good and the counter guys are always great. I've been to cheaper and more expensive self service junkyards in the north east and mid atlantic. Holland is one of my favorites. I'd obviously prefer lower prices but the selection at cheaper yards suffers a lot.

Good sized yard. Not very many R53 Mini Coopers in the yard so my needed parts weren't there. Otherwise decent selection of all makes and models. Definitely worth checking out.

Contacted Holland's after finding the part I needed through Car-Parts.com. The parts guy was not at all hesitant to take down my card number... After $50 in shipping fees.(Assuming due to the fact they charged well over the listed price..). The part arrived, no packing slip, receipt, nothing. Just a part, with the date written on it. Part didnt work. With further investigation, I noticed the brand new comparators soldiered onto the motherboard. Brand new silicone, ceiling off the board. Calling Hollands for help.. Rude. Rude. Rude. Not helpful at all.!!! COMPLETE. WAIST OF TIME

When I asked, with my screwdriver in hand if I should remove the plates to my car, the tow driver assured me that they would just throw it out. Because I haphazardly also left my ez pass transponder in the car I later found out someone is driving around with it with my plates (ez pass takes photos). I informed the manager Jared, and he was indifferent about the outcome. He basically told me that I should go to the RMV and EZ pass to make a claim (already did) and he would provide the receipt for the towing. He said "I do not know what to tell you, thing like this happen." Did not seem to care that his driver is misrepresenting the company for personal gains, due to Jared's poor management I assume this unprofessionalism extends throughout the company top to bottom. When I questioned Jared about his lack of concern about his out of line employee he got defensive and accused me of putting words in his mouth. Before that, I gave him every opportunity to own up to it and take accountability, but he dodged and deflected everything. His character shone through when he reluctantly said he would check on it.What a shame. "Holland Used Parts is the name to trust?" give me a break, this company is as dodgy as it comes. I gave management the chance to self correct, but they failed.
