This place is AWESOME. Another local shop quoted me over $700 for some quick easy muffler work. A flange broke and my muffler was hanging. They fixed it for me same day in less than 30 minutes for less than $50. They did a solid job too. Highly recommend!!

Austin and Eric went above and beyond to not only find a tire to put on my car but they kindly put it on the lift and checked my alignment due to my ware and tear on my tires! They kindly took care of all my needs and made sure I pulled out in a safe vehicle! Thank You for being amazing! I recommend highly as a safe and fast service center!

I had called to see if he had time for an estimate. Brought it down, told me it ll take 10 minutes for him to take a look. He brought my car back down, within the 10 minutes it was fixed! Quick and easy, all the same day!

Hands down the best experience I have ever had having to fork out money to fix a vehicle. Anthony and Austin worked very diligently to get the front brakes on my wife's car fixed. They even shopped for best price on parts and had me out of there quick! Shout out to the techs that did the job as well

A massive thank you to Pete and staff at Monro. He went above and beyond for me, while being very busy. He made me feel like my business was important. I had trouble starting my car after work one day and had bought a new battery, after the free installation I could not start my car back up. Pete came outside to assist me and they quickly knew the issue. He finished the work in less than two days while being very very busy and booked up. I cannot thank you enough and your staff. I m very grateful to have knowledgeable mechanics nearby who will offer help when needed. When you re at Monro, you will be treated well.-Travis

I came in for some new brakes. The assistant manager (Autumn I believe) worked with me to get an appointment during a very busy time for them. On top of that they were able to work a little on the price and get it where I felt good with it. Every shop, dealers included I have been to in the last few years is the exact opposite. I will keep coming back here for work on my vehicles.

This place is simply the best! Peter is incredibly helpful and always goes out of his way to make sure the work is done quickly and with quality. He makes me feel like a valued customer. They are reliable, honest, competitively priced, fast and kind. I m so grateful to have this shop in town!!

Amazing place. Was in a bind Saturday morning with screw in the tire and had to get kids to their snowboard classes. They told me when to come in and fit me in to patch tire right up. One of the only places around here open on weekend and open early.

Have been going here for over two years and I really liked it. However when I got my car checked out at Mazda it seems as though my tires that were put on brand new about 8 months ago, were never being rotated!! I go to Monroe every single oil change and ask for tires to be rotated each time. Apparently that was not happening. Buying a second set of new tires again, within 8 months. I will not be going back unfortunately. Photos of tires unevenly worn. Yes car was checked and sway bar and everything is fine.

Pete is the best! He took me in quickly to fix a tire so I could drive across the state. No ifs, ands, or buts, he just helped me out. It was quick, a good price, and everyone was so kind to me. FIVE STARS! Highly recommend.

Simply amazing! I don t exactly remember if it was Peter that I talked to in the beginning. I called and explained my situation that I needed a muffler on my truck that I was going to take down to South Carolina couple days later. I drop the truck off and told them I wouldn t need until three days later at noon. You guys were the only ones within a one and a half hour drive that said yes. I drove home took my shoes off and was just about to lay down with my pups. Ring ring I thought they were calling to tell me what all they found and had to be repaired. Nope!Hey Jago your vehicle is ready When I got back there the same Autum was so friendly and kind! Excellent service and phenomenal staff. Even though I can get my vehicles serviced within a 10 minute drive you guys got a new costumer for life!

I will only go here for any tire work I need done. They are fast and efficient not to mention affordable! I came in to get a tire fixed and they were a little short staffed today however The manager Pete still made sure to not only get my car in and get it fixed but they did it very quickly. I also like the fact that they don t just tell you what s wrong with your car but they will bring you into the shop and show you what s wrong with your car. They have always taken good care of my car over the years!

We were from out of town on NYE when we got a punctured tire that couldn't be repaired. These guys worked with us and got us out quickly. They are honest and helpful. Happy to review.

Recently moved to the area and after blowing a tire, I needed quick service. I scheduled online, however, what is online may not reflect the store as when I went in for my appointment they did not have the tires. I thought that was unreasonable of me anyway to expect it so soon. However, Pete at the front desk was beyond helpful, and they were able to get tires in the following business day and called right away to inform me right when the received them.Their team was able to fit me in along with my tight schedule despite having what looked like full bays. I imagine they are busy, and despite such they gave quick service. Beyond helpful during a very stressful time and I am glad I chose the right place to get my tires changed. They even found a rebate for my tires which was an added treat on top of the very fast service and were friendly at every step of the way.In the future I would call ahead to make sure to set an appointment rather than the online website. Other than that the service was great!

This is absolutely the worst place you can take your car to. I had my car checked here for a faulty AC. After Pete touched, the HVAC entire system stopped working completely (heat, fan, defrost). From August to October, he kept giving me the run around. Almost like I was begging him to fix something he broke. After two whole months, he told me to find another mechanic to fix it. When I picked my car, it reeked of cigarettes and there were blood stains and droplets in my car. I had to thoroughly clean the vehicle before taking it another mechanic.The new mechanic fixed it immediately, but it cost me $1202. I filed a complaint with their corporate office and their claims insurance (Travelers) also refused to do the right thing. Without informing me, they made the decision not to refund me after I paid the mechanic. I had to keep calling before they told me they won t be paying or taking any liability.If you care about your time, vehicle and a genuine, professional service, for the love of God, avoid Monro Auto Service and Tire Centers at 211 State Rd, North Adams, MA 01247.I don t think it costs much to treat people and their property with decency, courtesy and basic professionalism, regardless of how they look or where they might come from.I have lodged my complaints with the corporate office twice and won t be doing this anymore. They are equally terrible. Please do not respond to my complaints with your pretentious response.

We arrived with increased noise and a hanging exhaust system. We left 90 minutes later with the problem completely corrected. We were hoping to have the car fixed in two days time. The professionalism of Pete and the team is outstanding. We have no hesitation in recommending them. We will be back.

Been here a few times now for oil changes and tire changes and I ll be back. Autumn and Pete are great at explaining exactly what s going on with my vehicles. They re honest about what needs to be done and what doesn t, and they set and meet realistic expectations. They deliver fantastic customer service and reasonable prices to boot.

Where's a girl to go when she needs car work done?? Monro!!!Pete and staff have always taken the utmost care in servicing my vehicles, while educating me on different matters to help make informed decisions. I became a monro customer years ago when my 21 year old Volkswagen started it's downhill journey... Pete always made sure I was safe on the road, even when sourcing parts was difficult, and always with a smile and a joke or two! I now use Monro as a trusted source when servicing my new Subaru. These guys value work ethic and are always ready and willing to help- whether it be a routine oil change or a busted caliper that needs fast fixing. Highly recommend!

This place is AMAZING- the people are kind and exceptionally helpful. We were driving up for the weekend and hit an exploded tire in the middle of the freeway which ripped the radiator cover halfway off the underside of the car. The car sounded like a snow plough scraping the road as we drove which was not an emergency but the guys at Monro treated us with the kindness applied to an actual emergency. They fit us into their schedule the same day we called even though they were very busy- and they got us in and out quickly. I highly recommend this place for their service and human touch.

I took my van in to have my brakes inspected and repaired if needed. The service was very professional and honest. I expected to pay much more and they told me they only needed to be adjusted. I asked to have my oil changed as well and although they were busy, they performed this as well. I d recommend them to everyone! 5

Coming down the mountains into North Adams I developed a problem with my brakes. A quick Google search brought me to Monro Brake & Muffler, and we headed there immediately.Even though they were very busy Peter understood how important it was to get the brakes repaired ASAP. He and Mark (the mechanic) made the time to repair my car right then and there. I so appreciated their honesty: brake pads needed immediate replacement, and an iffy -but safe- rotor could wait until we got home in a couple of days time to our own mechanic.Thank you Peter and Mark for making space in your schedule to accommodate and look after us out-of-towners. Much appreciated.

I m new in town and wasn t sure where to go when the air in one of my tires was low. I m glad I happened to notice Monro! Autumn in the office was very friendly and helpful, and even though they were busy and I had dropped by without an appointment, within a few minutes the manager had checked the pressure and filled all my tires, and had me on my way! No charge! I ll definitely be back if I have any other problems!

Amazing service!!! Peter is top notch! I needed immediate service on my truck after it overheated so I could get home to my babies and he delivered fast and thorough service. He came in on his day off to help out and I am so grateful. He was thorough and timely. I can t say enough about Peter and the auto shop as a whole. Hands down one of the best experiences I ve had with an auto shop. Highly recommend!

Excellent service at a reasonable cost. Been coming here for oil changes and small repairs since I moved to the area two years ago. I have been treated fairly every time. The manager takes care to explain the process and answer any questions. Highly recommend.

We were in town for a wedding and our brakes froze up, we would have never made it home to Buffalo if it wasn't for the kind mechanic here (Peter) who fit us in on a holiday weekend. He was knowledgeable and extremely helpful, he even sent someone to pick us back up from The Porches inn when it was finished! I wish the Monro back home was as good as in North Adams. Thanks so much for your help.

I have gone here a few times and had okay experiences.But this week, my partner took my car in and they didn t have our appointment on their system (for just an oil change). He had to leave and schedule another appointment.He went back for his appointment today and they were 30 minutes late and then charged us a ridiculous amount for just an oil change. We will not be going back.

Had my tail pipe break off and was dragging across the ground. I called Monroe right before closing time on a Wednesday and was able to bring my car in when they opened the next day. They got the parts and fixed my issue same day, without having to wait for an appointment. Very pleased with the service and speed they were able to assist me. Will definitely be using Monroe again in the future.

I had purchased tires from here in July. I had problems with a flat tire afew days ago and they got me right in to fix it even though they were behind and short staffed. It ended up still having problems and I needed a new tire. I called them the next day and they got me right in again and got the new tire on very quickly. They have a very friendly staff.
