The Honda service dept in Newton has taken great care of me and my Honda Pilot over the last 6+ years. They are always helpful, honest and try to do what s in my best interest. Special thanks and a huge shout out to Alex and Phil. Thank you for taking care of me and my car for the last several years. I highly recommend this service department!

This place is really dishonest. Avoid like the plague! They overcharged us and did not fix the problem. When we complained, the manager told us to bring the car back. He agreed to pay for a Lyft for my husband to go home. But then he seemingly retaliated by not sending a Lyft for my husband to get back to the dealer to get the car, essentially leaving him stranded. So I had to rush home from work (which was highly inconvenient to me) to take my husband to get the car from the service department before they closed. To boot, the problem was STILL not fixed, so we ended up taking it to another Honda service department, where it was fixed right away. Honda Village is highly unprofessional, unscrupulous, and does not deserve your business.

Essence, Phil and the Whole Crew were terrific.Easy to schedule the Battery replacement. Alas other critical elements were identified. Appreciate the "Heads Up", and the Lyft. We want to see "Mr. Mulberry" in good order. He is everything to Her. Thank You.

I brought my tired 2014 CRV into Honda Village to get one last opinion before I thought I would be forced to trade it in and spend $22,000 on a newer used car. The car was making rattling and pinging noises when in gear and I thought the transmission was shot. The techs at Honda Village instead told me they would replace the front. axles and do a front brake job.. I was able to keep my car after all and save like $20,000. The car runs perfectly now and I wii keep it fir the next 5 years now. If you want to save money and keep your car on the road go to Honda Village in Newton for all your work. Thank you Alex and crew..

Poor communication and I feel they didn't respect my time or business. I had to lose a days work because the paperwork and registration took longer than expected.

Great place for service! Phil was terrific. He explained what had to be done, how much it would cost and how long it would take, and he was exactly right! No one likes to bring his/ her car in for service, but when you have to, Honda Village in Newton is the go to place. The place is clean and there s plenty of space if you have work to do. Have been going there for a long time and would never go anywhere else!

Brought my early 2000s Honda Civic here after the check engine light came on. To be clear, I did not purchase from this dealership and had no reason to give them my business (e.g., no warranty, recall).Oil change was reasonably priced ($60) and a tolerable ($140) diagnostic check, however everything else was significantly pricier than it should be. Naturally there was the upsell of other "necessary" fixes, but that's to be expected. Below I lay out the estimated costs for what I actually needed compared to Perfection Auto just up the street.$600 Spark plugs & Reprogramming (v. $160 SP only, didn't mention reprogramming)$590 Hood release lever & cable replacement (v. $225)$1300+ AC Compressor (v. $600-700)Decent communication and white glove service, but I'll take the older mechanics wearing dirty t-shirts for their reasonable pricing.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Air conditioning, Oil change

Lunch should be taken at a break room not at your desk especially if it's quiet enough that there are other service people that can help and you do not wash your hands before handling customer's keys. When you say you have an appointment for a specific task then immediately are attempted to be upsold not what I wanted to hear. When you ask about a prior service that was performed unnecessarily due to lack of a simple diagnostic and told that you can't be helped not their problem TOTAL FAILURE.

The staff there was very knowledgeable and helpful. I throughly enjoyed the experience. Free coffee and water plenty of space to social distance while you wait. Jason was a joy to work with as he kept me informed about the service to my vehicle and the time it would be completed. I am extremely satisfied with the staff and the quality of work done to my Civic. I would strongly suggest going there for all Honda services big or small well worth it! Thank you!

Solid crew and honest service. Come for a guaranteed great job. Like any dealership service, the cost is a little more than you would pay at a smaller mom-and-pop shop. I came in with a lost oil cap, not only did they service the car, they found the oil cap and saved me the extra cost!

Bought several Hondas from these wonderful people. Best car buying experience. Carl and David took great care of me and Joe in service treats us like family. Won't buy from anyone else!

Honda Village always does good work although it always seems to cost more than what I expect. I guess that's just what things cost these days.

Went to pick up a replacement key and for an oil change told it would take 1-11/2 hours and ended up more than 2 hours

The people that take you in the service department at first they are not very nice they are rude and they don't explain everything my car has not been touched I've been sitting here at work looking at it for almost 40 minutes no mechanic has touched it not so if this place is not very good
