Very happy customer here! I was told by another auto body shop located in Mattapoisett, who looked at my bumper only to tell me he wouldn't be able to repair the slit in my bumper and that he would have to order a new one that would cost $750.00 for a new bumper and to paint it. So, I went searching on google for another auto body shop in New Bedford for a second opinion (Sparky's) and Rick examine my bumper and reinsured me he could repair it with no problem and he did! I will show before and after photo's so you can bring your car here!

I had a bad experience and wouldn t recommend Sparky s. I had them do some rust repairs and paint work. Less than 2 years after the work was done the rust started coming back where new cab corners should have been installed which I provided along with rockers and suspect they were not installed. Also paint had started pealing because the surfaces was not prepared properly. I brought the truck back because there was overspray everywhere and they left masking tape over vents between the bed on the cab and got it back basically the same way, just some of the overspray was removed. I m essentially going to have to pay someone to redo everything that they had done. To be fair the crew there was extremely friendly and good to work with.

Sparky's Collision did not do a good job on my 2003 Crown Vic. They did a phenomenal job! The staff was professional. Steve the manager was very understanding of my needs. The estimate that he gave me. I thought it was for the left rear quarter. But it was brought to my attention the price was for both rare quarters. So I decided to throw in the rear bumper. To give them better access to do both rare quarters. Before finalizing the scheduling I also gave him the color code for paint to the car. They had the car for 4 days. And he not only matched the color to the original paint. Which I was really worried about but they had done a phenomenal job on the rear bumper. And both rear quarters. I'm having them do the rest of my car.

Sparky's is EXCELLENT!!! The customer service when I called was fantastic along with the beautiful job they did replacing my side view mirror and my bumper. I can't say enough about the quality work and the professional job that they did. Richard and his wife are an amazing team that make the customer feel heard and cared about. Needed driver side door handle replaced on older van. Bought part beforehand, thinking might be able to do it myself.....after checking on youtube, NO WAY! Visited and called around area body shops - they couldn't be bothered with such a small and pesky job. Called Sparky's; a most courteous gal assured me they could help out.Went to shop, run by husband & wife, plus team. They both projected exceptionally upbeat, responsive vibe....HUGE surprise, considering many in the trade are somewhat opposite. The estimate was surprisingly reasonable, knowing what it took to do job, and even included resolving a hood latch problem. Of course I left van, expecting at least couple of days to fix. A few hours later, a call - DONE!!! And to the estimate. Nearly triggered cardiac arrest. This was a singularly FANTASTIC experience [how many times can one say that regarding car repairs?]. They're both [and I imagine the crew] a credit to the New Bedford community. Bravo, Sparky's!!!!Service: Body & Trim

The customer service here is great. Fair prices and good work. Friendly, good people. And they cut my deductible payment in half just because, which made my day. As always, Rick goes above and beyond any expectations. I never have to worry about the quality of his work or surprise costs. When I bring a vehicle to him, I know it ll be done right and with the care as if it was his own vehicle. I ll never use another auto body shop as long as Rick and Tammy are in business. . I damaged my car, as can be seen on the pics but fortunately Sparky s fixed it up and left it like new! I did have an issue with the lock on the drivers door but I called Sparky s and told them about it and they corrected the problem promptly. I am very happy and satisfied with their work and professionalism!!

Initial impression was good. I randomly showed up to get an estimate on having a door fixed. Somebody came out looked at it gave me an estimate and set up an appointment. Looking forward to going. I will update review after work has been completed

Very very helpful when I had a leak coming from somewhere on my passenger side door, causing my entire backseat floor to flood! Suggested where to look for the leak, and how to dry it.... As I came by without an appointment, and they wouldn't be able to get me in (it was also the end of the week) until the following week. But, I found the leak (ripped door seal)! Highly recommend!

i was recommended by a friend to come to sparkys after he had gotten a paint job from them few years prior, i decided to bring my little honda civic coupe that needed love on the paint side, was spray painted by the owner before me black . i chose the color electron blue pearl, and let me tell you sparkys really made my honda look brand new !!, i was amazed with how beautiful the blue was , sparkys killed it!!! i would recommend !Service: Painting

Came here to get a new bumper and a couple days later a big hole shows up on it. Went back to the owner to tell him he sold me a defective bumper but he seems to think somebody cut a hole in my car. Either he sold me a defective bumper or someone went up to my car and cut it with a sawsal and made a perfect 360 degree. This shop will screw you.

Took my car to see Chris at sparkys. After serval attempts from several OTHER mechanics and spending several hundred dollars, Chris fixed my car by replacing a simple fuse at NO CHARGE!! I wish i would have know how honest and reliable Chris at Sparkys was!! it would have saved me tons of stress and alot of money as well!
