What a great guy!!! We had a wonderful experience and when I forgot my phone and I called hoping he had it. He answered right away and immediately came back to where I was to make sure I didn t go home with out it. Thank you so much!!! Highly recommend!!!

The taxi part of Val s service was not great, my friend and I split the taxi cost. The driver told us it was not a problem to come pick us back up from the beach where he dropped us off. I paid the first round and since he was picking us back up we were going to give him a nice tip once he picked up. Unfortunately he decided when we called him back since we didn t tip at first he was no longer available. Very poor service. One he missed out on his tip we were going to give and two the audacity of him turning away business from his company because he felt like paying customers were not worth it. He didn t know what our plan was to tip. We took an Uber into town and he ( Val s taxi driver) was just sitting there with no one in his car. Not making money. We will never use this service again. Val was awesome on her tour guide, highly recommend her. But not the taxi service. They will leave you stranded.

Four of us shared a spur of the moment customized tour while on our 1 day outing in Nantucket. Val is a wealth of knowledge regarding the islands history from being a long time resident. We thoroughly enjoyed having the van to ourselves and freely asking any questions along the way. Would recommend if you are shy on time and want to learn all things about Nantucket.

I would give zero stars if I could. Cab was late. On the route to my destination driver took the most backward way to my destination until he was called on it. After being called out, he suggested that we get out here and take another cab. Then he took the most direct route. Scumbag!

Our B&B concierge called this service for us. Unlike other services we'd used, Val doesn't like credit cards. We were informed of this when we arrived at our destination. Val was much put out that we dared use a credit card, and grumbled rudely and condescendingly about it. We usually tip well, and we appreciate a small businessman trying to get by. However, I really don't need a snide attitude on my vacation when we did nothing wrong. Perhaps you'll get lucky and catch him on a good day, and he'll be nice. Or not. We won't be taking that chance. There are other places to give my hard earned dinero.

We called Val s taxi for a ride after using them the day before. They claimed that we didn t tip, and said they would not send a ride unless we would tip (even though we did the first time). After a discussion with the dispatcher, he agreed to send a car. After waiting for 20 minutes, we called back asking where the car was. The dispatcher claimed that the taxi had been waiting for 10 minutes at our location, even though we had not seen the taxi, heard a honk, or gotten a call from the dispatcher. After informing the dispatcher of this, he hung up on us. This was one of the most unprofessional experiences I ve ever had. I highly recommend you choose another service so you are not put in the position that we were.

We used Val s cab all weekend. They were prompt and friendly. The cabs were spacious and clean. Viktoria and Asen were our drivers and they couldn t have been nicer. I highly recommend the company (yes my name is Valerie- no, I m not Val)

I wish I read the reviews before I called this company! The deserve 0 stars! I ordered a cab to come pick me and my daughter up in Sconset. They never showed up and never answered my repeated phone calls. We almost missed our ferry thanks to them!

Originally because of previous reviews was not keen to use and actually only ended up using them because taxi service we called couldn t make it. Anyway really impressed by the guy who picked us up twice and then found us another taxi when he couldn t make it. Definitely recommend. Also worth booking in advance. Ask for the guy from Bulgaria. DO NOT USE. Do not use this poor excuse for a man and his business. I was visiting Nantucket and he yelled at me on the phone because I couldn t locate the street I was on fast enough for him. We were stranded needing a ride. When I asked his rate - he then told me don t ask for my rate and use someone else and hung on me. I tried to call back because I was in disbelief that he hung up on me and he didn t pick up. It was 90 degrees. If you want to be treated like trash, give them a call.

After accepting ride, called to say couldn t take us. Did not leave message. Poor service especially after nice tip on way to destination. Was rude upon follow up call.

My wife had a 3 pm reservation we called at 2 reconfirming. All was reconfirmed. They never showed up. Flight was at 4 15. We were in a panic fortunately our neighbor was home and he drove her. We tried calling Val and no one picked kept on getting message vmail not set up. Worst taxi experience ever. Don t use

These other reviews are obviously written by stooges. My family waited for 25 minutes past the time val's said they would arrive, and eventually had to call another cab company. The drivers are friendly, the dispatcher completely inept. When i called back to ask how much longer we were expected to wait they said 2 minutes or less. When i called back they deigned not to answer. Rude and inexcusable. 0 stars if allowed

Very bad! Called them Fri. At noon for a 8 pm dinner pick up and never showed up, after we called they said they did not have any cabs avilable and apologized. Next day we called at noon just to give them enough time.. When they were 10 min late I called and they said they did not have any appointments for us. So, if you do use this company get a backup because they will 100% not show up.

Claimed we didn t tip and refused to pick us up again when we called the next day. So no need to tip, he ll claim you didn t anyways. They also canceled a ride with my daughter a few nights before, causing her to be late to an event. Very unprofessional.

this is the worst customer service I ve ever had in my life - the dispatcher screamed at me over the phone for multiple minutes about how I made it worse by trying to give him my closest street address when he told me that I didn t know where I was, despite being correct about the address in the first place. Call the non emergency line instead of calling these people.

Took Val s taxi from town to Naushop and (I am assuming it was) Val was great. Even left my AirPods in the cab and Val worked with me to meet him in town to retrieve them in the middle of his schedule.

Rude driver who never picked us up on return because he wasn t happy with our gratuity. When we called dispatch to inquire where our ride was, he hung up on us as well.

Driver charged $22.00 for a fare - no meter so we had no idea of cost!He never showed up to pick us back up because he claims we did not tip. How were we to know if the fare included the tip???Rude and unprofesional!

They never showed up after we called them and confirmed a pick up location thankfully we were able to get a ride share app ride anyway. Go for Rogers taxi, Will s taxi, or even just check your ride share apps.

Not a helpful company at all. We called 3 hours ahead of time to schedule a pickup and they said they wouldn't be able to bring us all the way to our destination at that time, but my wife scheduled anyway. I called back asking for an earlier pickup and they wouldn't do that either.

Completely unprofessional experience. Our driver yelled obscenities at other drivers for any minor mistake. Do your best to AVOID THIS TAXI AT ALL COST

Highly recommend taxi company. They found my Siasconset house despite it being on a private road off another private road, so that's always impressive. And my driver Mai k l was a good bloke.

Driver is extremely rude, unprofessional and aggressive. I felt in danger for my life in his car. He used racial slurs and smelled like he had soiled himself. Would rather walk than get in his car again.

Dispatcher told me at 5:30pm we would be picked up in 10 minutes for a ride to a 6:15 ferry. Waited 12 minutes called to check on the status, was rudely told to wait a couple minutes. At 6:05 A cab from Clyde's arrived, after speaking with the driver, we figured out that Val's must have called them. Save yourself the aggravation call Clyde's 332-6200.

Horrible driving tan through numerous stop signs and almost hit several cars and don t forget tailgating other cars the entire trip!!! Worst taxi ever!!
