Great location near ferry and hotels. Staff was knowledgable and showed us on a map where to go for food etc.. recommend NOT attempting the beach access driving on the sand unless you HAVE experience, you can get into trouble easily. Vehicle was spotless and easy to drive.

Looking for a vehicle to rent? Here is why you should rent from Affordable Rentals Nantucket:1. Extremely accommodating and helpful. This was our first time renting a vehicle on the island and I m so happy we went with Affordable Rentals. Extremely easy process to get the SUV and the vehicle is in fantastic shape.2. I was originally going to rent a smaller vehicle but last minute asked about a Jeep. They offered me a Bronco and it was no problem! I was setup in less than 5 minutes. Again, very accommodating!3. Owner/staff very helpful, friendly, and clear about how to return vehicles, how much gas, and if we wanted extra insurance. (Always get the extra insurance).4. Location is easy to get to and will definitely be back to rent move vehicles given we visit the island 2-5 times a year.Highly recommend getting your vehicle rental here! All I needed was a car for not even three hours. Made the reservation in advance, but had to change it slightly the morning of. Pick up, drop off, service - easy peasy. Cool little car - clean, too. I'm definitely a fan.

Fantastic customer service and knowledgeable staff. They give you all the information you need to visit everything on the island and accurate time estimates for how long it will take. Rented a brand new fully loaded Ford Bronco for a very good price considering they are probably the only place with one on the island. Will definitely rent from them again.

Highly, highly recommend. Conveniently located a few blocks from Steamship and Hy-line ferries, it s seamless to pick-up and drop off rental cars. Staff is professional and knowledgeable of the island and provide great recommendations for first-timers.

This place is awesome! Wouldn't have been able to see the whole island without them. I recently took a day trip out here with my wife and two kids, easy walk from the ferry terminal. I didn't have a reservation but they had an BMW I3 available for us. The customer service was awesome. They even threw in a booster seat for my youngest! We toured the island, the kids loved the electric car. Highly recommend Affordable Rentals if your visiting Nantucket.

I have rented from Affordable twice now and have been nothing but satisfied and impressed. The team is friendly and knowledgeable.Recently I rented a Jeep Wrangler from them with the plan to explore some of Nantucket s famous OSV beaches. They gave me a simple explanation of where I should and shouldn t go and included plenty of information along with a map. An explanation of the Jeeps 4WD and soft top and I was well equipped. Just be sure to ask questions if you are confused about something.Their vehicles are brand new and in fantastic condition. I believe they replace them annually. The Jeep was unstoppable on the sand and fun around the island.Do note:Be sure to reserve FAR in advance. I recommend 2-3 mo in advance during peak season if you want a particular vehicle.Also understand car rental on Nantucket is expensive. You will pay a premium anywhere on the island(for everything), cars included. It is worth it to explore other areas like Siasconset, Bartlett Farm, and Great Point.

Highly recommend, nice friendly staff. Car was perfect for looking around the island and going to the beach for the day. Was able to get a cooler and ice. When we dropped the car back the following morning it was pouring rain and the guy at the desk kindly asked if he could drop us to our next stop. We were going for breakfast and he took us to his favourite place Black Eyed Susan s. Couldn t ask for better. #localsKnowBest

Wow! What a great experience. When we first decided to visit Nantucket, we were not even going to rent a car. However, on the day we arrived, it was quite chilly, and with three kids, and all of the luggage that goes with that, we realize very quickly that we were in need of a rental. I called affordable rentals, Nantucket, and within about 3 minutes, Aaron, had someone pick us up in a rental car. He loaded all of our luggage into the car for us, and drove us back to the shop, where we filled out the paperwork and they showed us how to operate the car. The only thing we had to do from there was take the car and begin our relaxing vacation. The jeep wrangler we rented was also incredible and met all of our needs for this trip. I can t recommend this place enough and we can t wait to use them again!

Amazing staff that was super helpful about visiting the island. The only way to go is to rent a Jeep with chairs and an ice chest. Fill'er up at the market and head out. Make sure you have at least 2 days to get it all in.

We have used Affordable Rentals on multiple occasions throughout the years. Their staff is friendly, professional and very easy to work with. The customer service is excellent - we had the pleasure of recently working with Tim. He made the whole process very easy and was very good to us. The cars are clean and in very good condition. They even have a package so your dog can travel in the car. Definitely recommend this company!

Flawless experience! The Wrangler we rented had less than 3k miles on it and we were given a full run down of exactly how to best experience Nantucket. Definitely recommend them if visiting the island!!

The staff and owner are super nice and friendly. I mistakingly dropped two car keys into the return box, including one I rented from Boston Logan airport. Till I got back late night to Hyannis ferry parking lot, I found out this silly mistake. Msg the staff and early morning next day I took first ferry back to Nantucket, while still little bit rush to catch up the return ferry. Surprisingly, the staff met me at cab point of the ferry exit, and handed the car key to me. Owe them a big thank you.

The service at Affordable was fantastic. We loved our jeep(s) and the staff at Affordable gave us great advice on everything from where to get a sandwich to how to explore the drivable beaches of Nantucket. When we woke up to a flat tire the day we were leaving, Affordable showed up in 15 minutes with a replacement jeep for the day. Nothing on Nantucket is inexpensive, but these guys give you value for your dollar.

I can t say enough great things about our experience here! They were able to accommodate us last minute, upgraded us to an awesome Jeep Rubicon, and Miranda gave us the best directions and itinerary. She told us all the best spots to go and we had an amazing day!! 5 stars for sure and we will be back!

Great experience with Affordable Rentals! Our friend referred us to Skip who took great care of us. We rented two scooters for a day and really enjoyed our time on the island. The staff was very helpful. Can't wait to go back and rent a Jeep from them. The Jeeps looked beautiful!
