I own a Volkswagen beetle, which I love. I first went to the dealership with the engine light on they charged me a ridiculous amount to identify the problem and then the quote to fix was outrageous. I then looked online for recommendations for auto body shops. My only regret was not going to north shore motor werks first. the customer service is fabulous. They are professional, the price point was great and very accommodating. This place is a gem. I m happy to refer them to friends and family and I will be going here from here on out.

I've used North Shore Motor Werks several times and have always been happy with their work. They are one of the few repair shops I've used that actually provide a loaner car, making it easier to drop off and retrieve the car. I also appreciate that they look over the car well and if they find something, they will point it out, providing information about how critical it is to repair. Highly recommend this place.

I was at North Shore Motor Weks for the first time today and I was impressed. I just bought a used 2017 BMW 540i and the notification came up for a brake fluid change so I decided to go with them and I'm happy I did. Since this car was purchased as a private party sale, I asked them to look it over while it was in there. They sent me a detailed report of what they found and pricing if I decided to do the repair. No pressure to have them make the repairs right away and they even gave me a great recommendation to another body shop for a minor body repair. They were very friendly, professional, on time, with a great price. 100% better than dealing with the dealership in Peabody. I would definitely recommend to anyone in the area.

I couldn t be more impressed with the service at North Shore Motor Werks. The team is not only exceptional in their work, but they also genuinely care about their customers. I appreciate their expertise, their attention to detail and their thoughtful communication. It's reassuring to know that my car is in good hands and will receive top notch care at North Shore Motor Werks. Highly recommended!

I recently discovered North Shore Motor Werks and I'm glad I did. My BMW is 18 years old but I'm not ready to part with it just yet. Each time I take it in for service they do a very thorough inspection but then they also work with me to determine what work is really necessary and what can be postponed. And the quality of their work is excellent.

Awesome service advisors and top notch service from the mechanics. Did a more "invasive" job to my F80 and everyone involved provided wonderful communication about where things were at with the car and other suggestions to keep it running in great shape. I sing NSMW's praises to others and feel compelled to make sure no one goes anywhere else!!

I can t rave about North Shore Motor Werks enough. They are excellent at what they do and so trustworthy. They could have made so much more money off of the repairs mine and my son s car needed recently but they were completely honest with us and ended up saving us a lot of money. Everyone who works there is friendly and easy to talk to and explained what was needed without being condescending. We won t go anywhere else!

Extremely positive experience. Brought my M2 in for overheating issues. They diagnosed my car very quickly, texted and called me throughout the whole process. Prices are reasonable, quote is clear and concise via online page where you can accept/deny certain repairs. Once I picked up the car, the owner brought me into the work area to show me an engine he was working on. Highly recommend! This has become the only place I will ever take my BMW M2.

I m fortunate to have this shop so local to me. Not only are they technically competent, James took the time to work with my extended warranty company to ensure they handled my claim quickly and per the policy. I didn t have to do anything!! Huge time saver and I ll happily tell others about my great experiences with them.

Truly one of the greatest experiences I've had in car maintenance/service! I needed a routine oil change, which I usually travel to Westwood to the dealership. But I read the reviews here and decided to give them a try. To my surprise, I was in and out of my appointment in half the time and luckily they are just right down the street. I honestly received even better service than I have in the past at any dealership service center I've been to. Loved that they didn't try to sell me on things I didn't need, but let me know when I may want to consider doing things in the future. I will absolutely be coming here for any future car maintenance needs and highly recommend them for anyone that wants to keep their German car's maintenance in great hands!

I have used North Shore Motor Werks several times for different cars. The staff is very knowledgeable and nice. They are upfront on costs They have loaner cars if the work is going to take awhile. I would highly recommend them if you want the works done right.

I had a quote from a dealership which was much more than I anticipated. I brought my car to North Shore Motor Werks for comparison. Their quote was much lower and they guarantee their work. The service advisor Brad Viglione was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Great Customer Service and the work was completed on the day they stated.In the future any maintenance I will gladly return to North Shore Moror Werks.John Silvia

Jim has taken care of my car multiple times now. No complaints, their mechanics do great work. The software for the invoices and diagnostics is good, with pictures and a nice itemized list that you can approve/reject from your phone on.They re cool and willing to work with you too, they will look for alternative solutions if you require one, but are straight to the point on the trade offs of the right way vs kick the can down the road way. It s much nicer than the dealerships or shops that will give you a $15000 quote and say it s either this or nothing.Good shop too, they have all the equipment for whatever you need, some parts on hand, bunch of lift bays, nice machines, etc.Price wise, no complaints. Labor is competitively priced compared to shops nearby.They ve put in a new turbo for me (a bigger pure 800 turbo), a new downpipe, new valve cover, swapped my winter tires and did a alignment, oil change, spark plugs, etc. they can do basically anything you need).

Fantastic customer service from the moment you walk in. The people behind the desk are friendly and knowledgeable. The entire staff is extremely knowledgeable and courteous in my experience. I ve taken my now sold E46 there for a PPI inspection, and the team was very thorough and clear on what were common not major issues versus issues they recommend to be addressed. Most recently, I took my E61 there for intake carbon removal and inspection. The team gave a thorough digital, print, and over the phone report out of the vehicle, including all issues they found, without any pressure to add on to the service done that day. They stated their recommendations and allowed me to decide what should or shouldn t be done without any sales pressure. Additionally, the team shared common issues with the vehicle, such as the tailgate wiring having issues, and what could use repair versus keeping a watchful eye on. The images of before and after the intake carbon removal were very nice to see. Definitely taking my BMWs there for future repairs and would recommend to any BMw enthusiast.

Definitely the most pleasant car repair experience I ve had in a long time.It all started with being greeted by a female service advisor whose name I can t remember. I ve worked in and trained customer service most of my career and she was the best.The owner gave me a tour of the facility, what a great operation.

I have been going to North Shore Motor Werks for years now. The team is great to work with and I never have to question the quality of of work done. They have done everything for my BMW from oil changes, to brakes, tires, etc. Really recommend their services.

This was my first time at this shop and I was getting my bmw n20 transmission fluid changed. I just moved to the area so I've been looking for a qualified bmw shop. The price he gave me was beyond fair especially compared to other bmw independent shops. They made me feel comfortable and welcomed. The owner came to greet me in the waiting room made small talk about my car w future service that should be done to keep it going strong. Then he proceeded to take me into the shop which I was not expecting and he introduced me to the mechanic doing the work on my car and again went over the details of the work he was currently doing to my car and about future maintenance. Every bmw shop I have been to is always sighn the paper work leave your keys and go wait to be told it's done. The small things they do to go out of their way to make you feel comfortable, welcomed and to make your car a priority was it for me to Know I found my place. I'll be back again thanks North shore motor werks for everything I'll be back.. This was a great experience w quality work!

This shop is super professional. Great people that explain everything to you and their approval system is top notch. I started bringing my Audi there 2 years ago after dealer nightmares and they are very honest regarding work needed. I also love that they give out loaners.

To be honest, if I could award North Shore Motor Werks an infinite number of stars and glowing reviews I would. James has been top-notch, as has Yorgos and every other employee. I drive and Audi and my hood latch broke preventing me from getting an oil change while I was out of state. And, of course, I got the system warning to turn off the engine and not to drive until it gets serviced. So, I was towed to the nearest Audi dealership in Warwick, Rhode Island where they gave me a free quote. Suffice it to say, Audi s quote was astronomical. The Audi Service Manager attempted to manslpain some contrived nonsense and then claimed the entire hood would need to be replaced, along with the latch and a couple of other repairs and charges, plus and oil change. If memory serves me correctly, Audi quoted me just over $3000. This guy definitely saw a female and dollar signs. This female may not know a ton about cars, but she does know when she s getting played and she knows someone who is a master of his trade. So, before my soul entirely left my body, I called James and as ever he saved the day! I had it towed up to Peabody (the OG NSMW location) from Rhode Island. And, not so shockingly, I didn t need an entirely new hood and accoutrements. James quickly fixed the latch and also changed the oil for a couple hundred dollars (I forget the exact amount, but it was under $400) thus saving me thousands. Oh, and he gave me a complimentary loaner car. You won t find a more honest and skilled auto shop. If you own a European vehicle you are crazy to go elsewhere or pay dealership extortionist prices. I can speak first hand for his and his employees knowledge of Audi, BMW, Mercedes Benz and MINI, as they ve worked on all of the above for me and my family. Clearly I cannot say enough!

Truly a first class operation. James and his crew could give the local dealer a lesson on good customer service. These guys get right! Definitely not the mechanic stereotype . Oh yeah, my car, a 2016 beemer with 120,000 miles, runs like new!

I have been using NSMW for last three years after trying the local dealership and a few other independent shops. It s a bit of distance for me but I wouldn t take my car elsewhere. James the owner and his team are very professional and provide exceptional service for BMWs. Sometimes it can be a bit of wait for a loaner or an appointment but it is always worth it. Even in times of an emergency breakdown James and his team are always available to help and get your car fixed ASAP. NSMW is fair and trustworthy not a skill set easily found in this business.

I really like this business. They do great work, which is obviously important, but they go above with their customer service. For example, I forgot to ask for a loaner car, and boom they called me an uber. You can tell the owner is extremely passionate about the cars he works on and his business in general - highly recommend!

I brought my MINI to North Shore Motor Werks after the shop came highly recommended by other MINI drivers. I was impressed by the level of professionalism and efficiency for the brake pads I needed replaced. Everything was done on time as scheduled, staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, the cost of the work was reasonable, and they even vacuumed the front seats for me. Great experience overall! I will be coming back again for all my MINI s repairs.Service: Brakes

I have had my vehicle serviced at Norrh Shore Motor Weeks for a number of years. I keep coming back because they provide great service at less than dealer prices. My X5 always drives better after I leave there.Recently I had a significant amount of work done, my X5 has well over 200K miles. They have me a loaner for the day, the work was done on time and at much less then. Dealer had quoted. A big thank you to James and his team for providing great service and quality workmanship.

I've been taking my car here for a few years now and have always found the team at NSMW to be professional, very informative and communicative. Their work has been excellent and and fairly priced, and I never feel "upsold", which is a common problem at many repair shops.
