My friend Gia's car was acting up so she called Middleton Transmission, who had worked on her car not too long ago. The owner Mike told her to drop it off and they fixed it and didn't charge her a dime! Love hearing stories like this! I wish I brought my Honda there after it was hit by a FedEx truck and destroyed or the Chevy I bought as a temporary vehicle while an attorney was supposed to be dealing with Fedex but bailed! I wasted so much money on unnecessary guestimates & repairs before I had to junk them both!! Way to go Middleton Transmission!!!

I have a 2010 Nissan Murano and the transmission went out. I drove by and saw they specialize in transmissions so I stopped in to inquire. Given I had called many places and many had quoted me $4500+ for a used transmission and 6k+ for a new one. I met with the owner Phillip and he was so helpful. He was informative, and discussed the pros and cons of replacing the transmission. I provided his honest opinion and insight for alternate cars if we decide to get a new one. Philip was personable, funny, and knowledgeable about cars. Whenever I have car issues I know where I'm going. I would recommend his establishment to anyone looking for auto repair services. My 2017 Transit heater blower motor was not operating properly on a cold 5� morning this past week. The heater blower motor would shut off, and then on again, barely getting my windshield defrosted. I drove my transit to Middleton Transmission Auto repair, and they took in the transit and installed a new blower motor, and my mechanic had the truck fixed and ready for me at end of the day, when I was done work. Once again, I am very impressed with the quality of work, and turn around time. Thankyou very much, to everyone, at Middleton Transmission Auto Repair !!! So I needed a new rear end in my 2017 Dodge RAM truck (yes it have a warranty but I void warranties) and Middleton Transmission came through.They communicated great, were honest and simply a pleasure to do business with.They have fair prices and use quality parts.They checked the transmission and transfer case to ensure everything else was running properly.They are officially my go to guys for my vehicles from now on.Phil and Tom are good guys and down to earth, really great people.Highly recommend, I wouldn t go anywhere else.5/5

My car stopped running while I was driving it. I had it towed to the dealership. The dealership quoted $1,900 just to get it running so they could get the codes and figure out what was wrong with it! Part of the that quote was for a replacement back-up camera that I had refused to replace several years ago. What has that got to do with anything?! The service associate kept telling me that my car wouldn't start so they had to do all of this first. I KNOW my car wouldn't start. That's why I had it towed! I called Middleton Transmission and talked with Philip. He arranged to have the car towed from the dealership. He connected the battery to a charger for the weekend and determined that the battery was not good. He replaced the battery and then went on to figure out what caused the car to stop while I was driving it. He got my car running for about a third of what the dealer quoted and that included the towing cost. Philip kept me updated on what was going on and kept the cost low. I highly recommend Philip and Middleton Transmission & Auto Repair. I am thrilled with the outcome and have put his card in my glove compartment so that in the event I have another problem, I will have the car towed directly to Middleton Transmission.From Deb H Middleton, MAService: General repairs & maintenance

I had a bunch of problems with the front end of my car and Middleton Transmission did a great job taking care of me. They did all of the work (and there was a lot of it) in one day and the quality was excellent. Everything now runs smoothly and quietly. The customer service is also great. When I couldn't get a ride to the garage to pick up my car Phil came and personally got me. I would recommend this place to anybody.

Recently went to Middleton Transmissions to have my Air Conditioning fixed. I am headed out on a road trip on this week and contacted them the week before (I know, so last minute). I was worried that since my AC hasn't worked in a few years, it would be a lengthy and complex fix. But Philip the owner and his crew were extremely accommodating and time efficient. I dropped the car off on Monday and had it by Wednesday. Philip was extremely knowledgable, and honest. He even took me into the back to show me the old part that they had replaced. He explained the repair in full, and even showed me a photo of the process. Considering the work that needed to be done, the price was very good! I will definitely bring my car here for any possible service I may need in the future. SUCH a better experience than going to a dealership!!

I had an issue with my windshield wipers and needed immediate help. A coworker recommended Middleton Transmission. Phillip, the owner was very courteous on the phone and in person. One of the mechanics was able to fix the problem on the spot. Very impressed! Will be back for any future issues.

Went in to get my car looked at here & Phil took a look and diagnosed the issues and said my car was still under warranty to get fixed. He didn't charge us a thing for the time and effort to diagnose the problem. There are still great honest mechanics out there & this establishment is one! It is rare that you find a mechanic who is here to help the genuine public and not just be in it for profit. Phil and his team at Middleton Transmission are here to help you for ALL of your car needs. This team is a swiss army knife who can do just about everything your car needs in order to run properly. I was greeted with a smile and a zero up sale attitude. Listened to my issues and concerns about my trucks driveability and simply stated "you brought it to the right place". Well they were 100% correct! Thanks to Mario, Phil, and Tom I was back on the road 3 days later with a new unlimited mileage transmission backed by 100% labor coverage. They also performed a courtesy road worthy check and serviced all my fluids that needed it. This place truly is a one stop shop with dealer quality and at a blue collar price.Thank You!

Nothing is worse than being in an unfamiliar town and needing a mechanic, which is exactly the position my husband and I found ourselves in midway through our summer road trip. Luckily, we were recommended to Middleton Transmission where Philip and his staff went above and beyond to get us back on the road again, staying late on a Saturday and making calls all around town to track down parts so we wouldn't be stuck there until Monday. I can't thank them enough for their honesty, sincerity, and professionalism. If we lived in Middleton, this is definitely where we would bring our vehicles.

My 2006 Toyota Corolla seemed to be having a transmission problem so I took it to Middleton Transmission & Auto Repair on the recommendation of my mechanic in Danvers. I was thoroughly impressed with the service. Philip checked out my transmission and did some online research that indicated the problem was probably due to the Engine Control Module and that Toyota had put out a recall for this problem. So I brought my Toyota back to the dealership for a free ECM replacement.It's a pleasure to encounter a company like Middleton Transmission where the customer is treated honestly and professionally! A big thumbs up for this one!

I have been dealing with Middleton transmission for close to 5 years now.. I have never had a problem with Phil or his macanics. Every job he has done either if it was major to minor there was never issues after . Plus always helps me out with payment plans.. Even the first time I went to him cuz my radiator blew . Alot of these negative reviews are worthless.. Y'all just don't want to follow up on your bill or just want a pitty me hand out.. ... Great service, always has a smile, and most of all he wouldn't be in business as long as he's had if he was such a bad guy ..

I never leave reviews, but this time I have too. I am new to the area and I wanted to find a mechanic that I could trust. Well, Phil is that person. My truck was towed to his shop with what seemed to be a transmissiion probem. My dashboard lit up like a christmas tree and my truck wouldn"t go over 10 miles an hour. It smelled like it was burning. I was waiting to hear the bad news. But, Phil called and informed me that the problem was whomever changed the oil, never tightened the oil filter (muffler place on Rt. 1), remember, cheaper isn't always better. All the oil had dripped out and could have destroyed my engine. He cleaned all the oil off of the bottom of the engine, changed the oil, reset all the sensors, and even filled all my tires to the proper levels (thats a whole different probem). The best part, for all he did to my truck, he charged me a little more than what I had paid for the oil change that caused the problem. THAT IS AN HONEST MAN. So Phil, as long as I own a vehicle, you will be the only shop I will bring it to if I have a problem. THANK YOU and Happy New Year.

Wonderful auto repair shop. I came in with a dangerously low PSI tire, and a sleeping baby in the car. These gentlemen fixed it and had me on my way in 10 minutes, and didn't wake the baby to boot. Phillip and Tommy were so kind, friendly and professional. I highly recommend them.

Nice Wednesday morning I wake up get 2 minutes down the street and bam my clutch goes out. Fresh snow on the ground and I'm new to town don't know anyone so I called a family friend, after referral from referrals I landed on the company middleton transmission, they worked tirelessly thru the holidays the past two weeks to bring my car back to life, fresh clutch, slave cylinder, throw out bearing, anything needed to be replaced the fixed and didn't try and scare me with oh this needs repaired and this repaired, they diagnosed the issue quoted me an EXTREMELY reasonable price, and got right to work. If I could give them 10 stars they'd have 15 amazing work and I WILL be coming back for anymore needs.Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic

These guys are amazing! My jeeps transfer case went out 2 days before I was supposed to move almost 2000 miles away. Needless to say my deadline was impossible, but they tried their hardest to get me home. They worked with me over the phone, got my jeep back to perfect working order, and even picked me up from the bus stop after I flew back into boston to get my jeep. They went above and beyond for a guy they didn't even know. If you're in the boston area and you need transmission work, do whatever it takes to get your car to this shop!

Absolutely amazing turn around time..Phil and Tony explained in detail what was wrong and the options that were available. what was most impressive was that they showed me all the failing parts after the repair. They updated me on parts that were ordered so all in all a very successful transmission replacement with a phenomenal watranty...and they have cappucino..I've since learned that they also do oil changes. The tansmission that was replaced was from a 2006 Honda Odyssey.

The owner is a pleasure to work with! He listens to what is going on with your vehicle and is able to determine what the cause maybe. If it doesn't work out he will continue to work the problem out until satisfied. Brought my 2008 Chevy 1500 to them. I had intermittent starting issues. They quoted me $983 for a starter. Went down the street and had it fixed for $368.00. This place should be reported to the better business bureau.

I dropped the car off for an oil change. Not only did Phillip change it, he topped off the fluids, and put some air in my tires. Great service here for a reasonable price.

Had an AC issue with my bus, They found a solution for me without doing something that would have cost me twice as much and not have been reliable/efficient. Great shop, honest and welcoming. Would recommend anyone to go here - Places with this level of honesty and integrity are rare to find.
