The team at German Automotive always delivers great service.I have a 09 Mercedes Diesel that I ve owned since new that I rely on daily as it s used for business.I trust Alex and the crew to do the right thing while doing maintenance to stay ahead of potential breakdowns and thus never had one yet.I always get straight and honest discussion for what I need repaired with any spin.

I had a very urgent/timely issue with my 2018 GTI and threw a Hail Mary to G.A.S. on a Thursday afternoon (they were closing the entire following week)...not sure how they managed it, but Keith got me in on Friday (even short on staff due to sickness/injury!)...they went above and beyond my expectations and when I came back early Keith and Alex took me back into the shop and explained everything in meticulous detail. Extremely professional, attention to detail and very thoughtful explanations...can't thank them enough and will definitely be coming back!

Brought my Audi Q5 in for a control arm bushings repair. Was quoted a price 50% less than the dealership price for the same repair. Alex and his team took the car in the morning and it was ready by 4pm same day. So far the car is running smoothly and no issues at all.Highly recommend them as an alternative to the dealership prices.

Really impressed with these guys! They did a thorough checkup on our E46 M3 and some important repairs. Polite and courteous and very professional (and friendly!). Alex has reliably diagnosed and provided excellent service on our Cayenne Sport and Audi 4.2L A6. He is extremely knowledgeable about German vehicles and has solved complex issues my prior mechanic and dealership did not. Importantly, he always considers the age and condition of my vehicles so as to not oversell/overcharge me for unnecessary or impractical repairs that is typical of the dealerships. His invoices are very clear and describe exactly what worked was performed as well. Can't say enough great things about Alex and his team's work and professionalism!

I arranged ahead to time with Keith for my Jetta TDI to get routine 50,000 service while I waited and everything worked out as I had hoped: the wait was short, the car got serviced, and I'll return for service when I need it next.

I had the good fortune of purchasing a car that was previously worked on by Alex. I recently took delivery of a 13' 128i at a local dealership and wanted to know the service history of the vehicle. I reached out to GAS (after consulting the Carfax)and was promptly assisted by Alex. I was impressed by a few things, his willingness to help a non--paying "customer", product knowledge, and quality of work. The car hasn't seen the inside of his shop in almost 2 years yet all repairs(VC, Oil Filter housing and pan gaskets) have healed up beautifully. It's too bad I live 300 miles away... Having an independent BMW mechanic like Alex is a fortunate thing indeed!Services: Engine repair, Brakes

it was just an oil change while I waited. I've used them before for routine maintenance and some relatively minor repairs. I'm always well treated, and the work was done well. I ve gone to GAS twice now. Alex is very knowledgeable and dependable. I know I can trust him to look over my car and find any safety issues. He serviced my Mercedes for oil and filter changes, and brake pads. The prices are reasonable, less than the dealership for sure. His new location in Methuen is neat and clean. This is the first time I visited this establishment, May 30 2023 with my supercharged 2017 Audi A6. When I arrived they asked what they could do for me and I said i had an appointment for an oil change. Within 10 minutes they pulled my car in the shop and started. In about 30 minutes they said i was all set and went over everything that they felt needed attention. I felt that the staff was very knowledgeable and their prices were reasonable. Alex and G.A.S are absolutely amazing. I was able to reach out to Alex and he was able to fit me in right away. Alex was able to do maintenance service on my 2010 Audi A4 with over 89,000 miles. Alex changed all the oils (engine, transmission, front, center, and rear differentials), along with filters.He is always so pleasant, professional, and willing to go above and beyond.I feel so lucky to have Alex and his crew work on my car.Services: Transmission, Oil change

Alex and his crew are excellent techs, provide honest evaluations and repair options, and kept me updated by text as they proceeded with diagnosing and repairing our MINI Cooper Countryman. They made our repair painless and quick. And while no German car repair is ever exactly cheap (thanks, German part prices!), GAS provides good & fair pricing and EXCELLENT value. Recommended. Purchased a BMW from the owner that was supposedly engine rebuild at his shop and in about 800 miles the car died and brought it back to German auto and he quoted me for an new engine and the job, for almost what I paid him for the car.

Alex was very professional and knowledgeable. He serviced my Audi A3 and was able to diagnose a problem I was having with the brake fluid reservoir and replaced my rear brakes. I was ready to trade my car in, but it's running great again.
