They were quick, efficient and the cost was reasonable. I would definitely recommend them for anyone needing suspension work or alignment. I have only been in town for a few months so I checked for recommendations on the local community forum. I liked what I read about Lucey's, plus, their a local business.

these guys have always come through for me the 15+ years i've lived in the area. grateful for their phone advice when im in car-crisis, and for being available to do repairs mostly on the fly. their gas pump attendants are always super polite. a really great local garage/gas station!

Luceys was professional and efficient. I needed a brand new tire and was using a donut to hold me over. They got the new tire for me the same day and it was fixed first thing the next morning. They quoted me a figure before doing the work and stuck to the quote. Gary was great and knowledgeable. I will be going back to them for more work and intend to go out of my way now to give them my business.

I m from Maine and recently moved to Melrose. I was worried about taking my car to a place around here with the pricing. I ve taken my car here twice so far and both times the staff have been very kind, helpful and patient! Prices very reasonable. Has a small town garage feel where you feel like you re being taken care of

My scheduled oil change on my 2022 Dodge Challenger was completed ahead of schedule. And all my fluid were topped off. What really pleased me is that they cleaned out the oil catch can that is a modification I added.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

Lucey's was able to get a tire and mount it after my accident quickly. And he was super friendly during the whole (otherwise stressful) process. He was even willing to coordinate with another shop to do the work if he couldn't get the tire in time, but he and his crew made it all happen. Extremely helpful and very sensitive to getting your car fixed fast! We were getting ready for our vacation when our Jeep wouldn't start. they fixed it the next day and saved our vacation plans. no delays! Gary and Steve are so friendly and nice. I ve only been here once for service but it left a good impression. They were able to do a quick job the same day and the price was reasonable. They we re upfront with pricing and very friendly. Noticed a broken tail light and fixed that too - and didn t take the opportunity to scare me about a bunch of other stupid things to spend money on. They offered water to my dog too which is pretty badass.

Thankful that Lucey s is truly a neighborhood place! It was the hottest day of the week and they were able to check out my car (and make needed repairs) that day. The staff is knowledgeable and willing to explain what needs to be done and why. I appreciate all the staff that work there! The service at Lucey s was exceptional. I d been riding around with my engine light on despite having the car serviced twice for this problem. Gary and Steve were very clear about the cause of this problem and laid out the expected timeline and cost for repairs. Great follow though and customer service. I can't say enough about Lucey's service station. Last Friday my brakes didn't feel right. I stopped by Lucey's told Steve I wasn't sure about my brakes. Asked him if he could fix my breakes Satuday told me it was a half of day. Left went to see my last client. Brought the car back as the car felt even worse. Steve called me Friday late afternoon said they had started the car it needed new breakes front and rear. My car would be finished Saturday before Labor Day which was a major relief. All I can say the brakes and car are running great. If I could I could give a thousand stars I would. Grest service, great staff have never been let down. Can't say enough but THANK YOU!

This shop "fixed" a leak in my power steering system. Five days later, I noticed a new leak under my car, and the car would not start. I had it towed back to Lucey's. They told me they "couldn't find anything wrong with it" and it "must be a bad battery" (which is only 2 years old!). They charged me $69 for the "diagnostic."Very soon after that I sold that car to a local dealer. In the process, I read the Carfax on my vehicle. As it turns out, the very day Lucey's told me they couldn't find anything wrong with my car, they recorded an oil change...the source of the leak that they likely caused when working on the steering system a few days prior! They covered up their error quietly and charged me for it! What incompetent and dishonest mechanics.Service: Steering & suspension repair

I had brought my car here for a check engine light that would not go away, even after we checked the code that was read. The code said it was her gas cap that was loose, and we tried to fix it and it didn't work.We brought it over to Lucey's, and the staff there was very attentive, quick to check us in, and they said to be back a little later, after checking the error code again and saying they will have a look, and then drove me home (which was so kind). They called me on the phone about 2 hours later, and told me that the code errored because it turned out that there was a spider web that was blocking the laser that causes the error (they showed me the web, too), and they just removed it to solve the issue.They only charged me for about 2 hours of labor, and that was it. They were really nice, and they didn't try to upsell any of the issues. I was really grateful, and will certainly go to them first for future issues.

These guys are friendly and truly honest mechanics!I ve brought my car in here a few times and every time they could have charged me a whole lot more..They get the job done in a timely manner and have correctly diagnosed/fixed the issues with my car every time.

I have a Tesla. Stay with me here. I go to Lucey s whenever I need air in my tires. They alway oblige with a friendly smile. It s a little thing. But I m telling you that if that s how they treat a customer who doesn t even want to buy something Just pointing out a great experience.
