I ve been going to Richies for almost 6 years now, ever since I was referred to him by a coworker. I regret not taking my truck there sooner because Richie always provides honest and reliable work. I m never concerned of being overcharged and know the work him and his team does is quality. Taking my truck in for a 100,000 mile inspection soon and wouldn t think of taking it anywhere else.

Being a new to the area, I'm thankful for my neighbor's recommendation to use Richie's to fix my Subaru. The service here is top-notch, and the staff is incredibly friendly, always willing to go the extra mile for their customers. I give them a 5/5 rating and highly encourage others to give them a try.

Best service shop I've ever worked with, hands down. I've been to many places that make me feel stupid for not knowing exactly what the issue with my car is ahead of time (and not knowing much about cars in general), or charge me 3 times the price a repair should actually cost because they think I don't know better. Definitely not Richie's. They're respectful, educational, kind, and great at haggling for better prices in your favor. They've even replaced a wiper blade and topped off my oil for free when they had to make a hefty repair to my car. I moved from Medford to Watertown a few months ago and I still won't take my car anywhere else but Richie's.

Fantastic! My cars battery light popped on and they were able to help me out right away! Same day drop off and pick up! Very fair prices, very quick, very friendly, and very professional! Thank you so much again! Huge shout out to Michelle who I talked to on the phone, and Richie who I met in person :)

Stopped in to get a MA inspection on the car I just bought in RI. They took me right away, were done quickly, and were all extremely nice. I sat with a very nice woman named Michelle in the small, clean office while I waited. The conversation I heard while I was there made me think it was definitely a place I would come again. They sounded like all their clients were neighbors they'd known for years. Great experience!

I called so upset/ worked up about a car issue from ANOTHER place. I had the pleasure if talking to Michelle who went ABOVE AND BEYOND to assist me/ even calm down shes AMAZING at her job.Then she arranged THAT DAY for the owner Richie to look at it. He was soooooo helpful/ nice and HONEST which is hard to come by these days. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Richies Service Center, Mr. Richie and his employees are GOOD, HONEST, RELIABLE KIND people, who truly care about their customers. One the best experiences I've had with people in general, before even going into detail about how great the service was. My car's engine was misfiring, and on a Saturday, with only 4 hours till they closed, Richie took my car, diagnosed it, and fixed it, for a fair price. Michelle, who handles the administrative work, was extremely pleasant, and everyone there just made you feel like you were being taken care of individually. I would highly recommend this shop to anybody who needs work done on their car. Lovely people and great service. This is my new go-to mechanic

They know what they are doing. Super nice people, too. I drive almost 50 mins (I moved from medford) to get good service and talk to nice people who aren't trying to rip you off.

I can't say enough great things about Richie's Service Center. I always getgreat service and everyone is very kind. Richie is a great guy, takes care of your car, and treats you right. Definitely going back there :)

Great amd honest guys! I had a flat tire, they took my car in right away and then did Mass inspection in 10-15mins. After two days I switched my front break pads and rotors with them also. Again, they finished in few hours! Great customer service also! Highly recommended.

I will continue to take my car here. They walked me through the repairs on my car and the benefits of one fix vs. the other and never tried to up sell me. They were also very willing to work with my schedule.

Unreal experience. Was nervous about servicing my car with someone new, but Michelle and the boys took great care of me. Great price for brakes and 2 new tires. Didn't tell me to replace ANYTHING that didn't need replacing. Charged up my battery, vacuumed the leaves off my engine, an oil change, and took it for a car wash. Incredible experience and felt very well taken care of. I won't go anywhere else for as long as I live in the area!

I could not recommend Richie's more, this is the only mechanic and team I will ever bring my car to and I recommend them to everyone in the area. With an honest and thorough team, through the years they have consistently taken care of my car's problems from the engine and other services. I would send anyone here as they provide above and beyond service and genuine care. Word-of-mouth and great service are so important today. I am new to the area and was quite hesitant about finding a reliable mechanic for the repairs needed on my Mercedes C300. I needed brake work, an oil change and identification done for a strange noise coming from the transmission. I received a reference to check this place out. Not only did they fix my brakes, complete my oil change but they went way above and beyond to fix a problem with my transmission. They saved me thousands of dollars by finding a solution for me by thinking outside the box. Not only did they take the time to talk through and explain what was going on but they had enough integrity to help me find the best most economical solution. I am forever grateful and 100% happy with the service received by this company. I did not know these guys at all and now have found a life long repair company.Richie, Steve and Michelle were all incredibly kind friendly and helpful during what could've been potentially a stressful and expensive event. Thank you guys again I sincerely appreciate you all!

I needed to bring my vehicle in for a diagnosis dealing with the charging system. They got me in the same day and had it ready to go by 3pm. Explained everything and they were so lovely and kind. I was having an incredibly stressful week where everything seemed to be going wrong. My vehicle being one of those things. My car was overheating & a friend had recommended Richie's Service Center. As soon as I walked in the door, both Michelle & Richie were so welcoming & extremely helpful with putting my stressful mind at ease. The problem was quickly diagnosed & fixed rite away. I am so grateful for their kindness & help. Richie's will definitely be my go to mechanic!!

Went down to my car this afternoon only to find a flat left rear tire. Getting late on a Saturday I expected to be dealing with the issue into work on Monday. Found Richie s and they were kind enough to fit me in. Turned out it was a roofing nail and they were able to plug in less than 15 min.I couldn t be happier with the courtesy, kindness and service they showed me today.

I took my car in to multiple shops to get a quote on a leak -- I have an old Saab, and every place quoted my $1k and up saying the work needed to be done and immediately. Richies gave me the most honest answer and the direction I was looking for (saved me money) in asking how frequently I drive it (not much) to decide if the work needs to be done or not. Since I don t drive it much, they told me it s still drivable and to keep checking the fluids that the leak won t cause any further damage, it ll keep running. This was the best advice I had heard, saved me investing too much money in an old car/Saab s out of business. I really appreciate the honesty of everyone who works here. I ve brought my car here in the past and they ve always done a great job and going above and beyond. Will recommend to everyone, it s very clear they care about the best interest of their clients. Thank you!

They shoot straight and I have no doubts are 100% honest, I ve been going to Richie personally over 10 years, Staff is great, Michelle keeps everything running and I wouldn t think to take my car anywhere else!!! Definitely recommend!

Richie s went way above and beyond. I was in Boston for a 2 month job and bought a car in New Hampshire that died 50 miles later (Failed transmission) here in Medford, MA. It had a warranty on the power train. Richie s read the warranty and dealt with the warranty company and made a very difficult situation much easier. They were fair and helpful on their rates; and communicated with me all throughout. Being from out of town can make these things daunting, but Richie s took care of me like we were friends. Can t say enough how grateful I am.

Ford Explorer 01 has had a vibration for 10 years that no mechanic has ever been able to fix. She didn t pass inspection due to a ball joint. This man went above and beyond to get us a good quote and has always been honest and straightforward about any issues. He fixed the issues to pass inspection and doesn t even know he fixed the vibration that no one else has been able to. This car feels brand new and we could not be more grateful! (We will still get a new car we promise!) Thank you Richie and crew!!!! -Kaitlyn and Cece

Brought my wife's car here for some brake work. Turnaround was fast and the job was less expensive than previous jobs elsewhere. But most importantly, they took the time to talk about what the issue was, etc...
