Amature shoddy work after having car for a month.They incorrectly assessed the car for an insurance claim indicating that we caused the damage when that was clearly not the case (straight scratches across the side of the body and tire. If the car was moving the scratches would go around the tire, not straight across it). That caused a dispute to be filed with the insurance company. Finally when insurance reviewed the claim, they immediately determined that the car was hit while parked. Auto Service & Tire finally completed the work after a month of having the car and we're still discovering issues with the repairs a year later: loose bolts that were chewed up and reused, door not sealing, creaking in area of repair...Single, working, with 2 kids. This was a huge problem in our lives just to get an amateur repair. This place is not to be trusted imo.Photos of reused damaged bolt (that keeps loosening),and missing bolts. Just the drivers door latch, nbd.

Good customer service, good efficient auto service. One draw back is they are very busy so you can't walk in. But that happens when you're good.

If I can put negative star this place basics steals your car and wants to know if they work so they can sell your cars the go around and tow the vehicles that they want stealing people cars saying the police said tow it they lied on police to tow and police have NO knowledge of the tows be careful of your cars they are lie and steal

I ran over a screw and needed a fast fix late in the day. I went to three places and got turned away to plug my tire. I called here and though he was also closing shop he gave me directions to a neighboring store and called to make sure they could take me to save me a trip if needed. The guy on the phone was super helpful and went above and beyond to do what he could.

1. I called and spoke with the tow manager. He was super professional and kind.2. He told me they would come collect my truck keys from my house!!! (I was thinking I needed to be with my vehicle). Amazing! They did! They arrived at my front door wicked fast!3. Then the tow drove to where my truck was parked. Hitched it to their flat bed and dropped it to my mechanic. All done in just a tad over 1 hour.Unbelievable service and they were so polite! From the Gentleman who answered the phone to the tow manager right over to the tow truck tech! I am impressed. I got to coordinate this all with one singular phone call. I never had to leave my house. Exceptional service. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Thank you guys so much for making a situation that was stressful super easy.

These guys made a tough situation easier by being helpful, nice, and trustworthy. Alonzo towed my car and was there to help me retrieve my belongings from the car the next day and walk me through certain logistics to help me feel more comfortable. Thank you.

Nothing online posted about the employees LEAVING for personal ventures while on the clock. Towed my car. Wouldn t accept my credit cards even thought it clearly states I can use it on the wall of the garage. I then walked in the cold to get cash. Came back to lights off no one in sight! Was gone for 30 minutes tops! Then waited outside for 40 min with a driver, waiting for ANOTHER driver because supposedly only he could accept my payment. Then finally says he ( who could only take my payment ) got another call, opens the door and gives me the car. Just too comfortable at work for my liking.

This was another perfect visit with my car. The side mirror needed replacing. I got there, gave my name. Made a date for repairs, came in today, 30 minutes wait , then I am on my way home. Shout out to the secretary, you are awesome.

I ve been using AS&T since I was a teenager. I m now in my mid 50 s. I use to deal with Charlie because he gave it to me straight. I moved to GA for some years and moved back to Boston and I m so happy to see they are still here. I trust that they will fix the problem and get me safely back on the road. I highly recommend this business.

If there s a mask mandate , I would of expected a professional business to be following the mandate. Especially when customers are in the actual vicinity. I understand the employees must be comfortable enough to not wear mask around each other but likestated above, keep the professionalism when a customer is present. This is prime example why this area of Boston does not get any amount of the respect they deserve. Come together, teach to follow rules and make it happen. Truly disappointed in this staff and will not be returning to ensure safety for myself and my family.

An honest mechanic is hard to find. You have found it here. Sometimes their prices are a little bit high but they'll always be honest with you about what needs to be done and will tell you if it's not worth doing the work and I've never had a problem with anything they've done. Good people.

Been trying to get my car fixed for a month from mike he been giving me the run around for a month saying he got the piece one min to him having to get the piece in the morning the came up with a whole thing about hes dealing with a death in his family and he cant come give me the part to him not being to talk no more because he dnt have the part its been nothin but lies and hes very unprofessional do not go hereService: Body & Trim

Not trustworthy. Charged $350 to tow a vehicle!Auto Service & Tire claimed there was a liquid spill and they piled on a bunch of false charges. David does not return phone calls so you're forced to pay another day of "stowing" charges.Very deceptive practices. There are many other honest mechanics and tow companies. Avoid them at all costs - or expect trumped up and false charges.

Completely unethical and unprofessional. The customer service were terrible if owing a shop means you can not communicate with your customers efficiently then don t do services with insurance companies or boston police storage service

They had to fix some body work but didn t realize the car was running when they disconnected the battery. I don t think they have experience with hybrids. I had to spend $1400 to fix the damage because the computer fried. The owner said his people were not negligent. I think they probably have limited experience with hybrids.

This shows you how much the city of boston cares about any of its lifetime residents. I get tow alerts for street cleaning every month twice a month. How is it there is NO alerts sent and it's the day after freaking thanksgiving and i get towed. If that wasn't bad enough i came outside yelling to the disgusting bearded row truck parasite only to be smiled at while he drives down the street exceeding the speed limit by at minimum double and blowing right through the stop sign in the process.I have been towed before for the same thing a number of times before. All my fault, all handled professionally by the old company the city used to use. Sorry the name escapes me. Instead i deal with the driver, then having to walk through a death trap of an auto shop which i video recorded for fear of injury and persecution by these thieves. I get outside to two more "workers" if you can even call them that hovering around my car looking in the Windows. Then to see it parked basically half in a ditch with the muffler literally touching the ground. You can't inspect your vehicle for damage as they rush you off their property for what I'm assuming is to cheat liability. This story WILL NOT end here. I have NUMEROUS osha and city violations on tape and the right connections to use it. So fear not those of you violated by these sorry excuses for human beings we will have justice in the end.

Worst tow place ever. Car left over night because it was closed. I'm not sitting here the next day for over 20 minutes waiting on someone to come and they now called and said another 20 minutes. What kind of buisness are they running? What about if I wasn't from Boston? Didn't have a phone?

I went for an inspection. every one told me to wait for the guy in the bathroom. I was waiting for 26 minutes. the guy comes out and says he's done with inspections for the day and to come back tomorrow. complete waste of time

My car was towed here after an accident and they were nothing but helpful! My wallet was stuck in the car and it was still there days later ...Greatly appreciated!
