I'm really impressed with this shop! I've used them a few times now and each time they have been fast, efficient and had great communication the whole time. The most recent was an emergency repair. Even though they were super busy, they went out of their way to squeeze me in. They found the issue and repaired it very quickly. They also documented the repairs and posted pictures on their platform so I could actually see what they were doing and what they issue was. I highly recommend Precision and see why they have earned such a great reputation locally! They got my car in and out quickly, the quality of work and the communication was excellent and the cost was very reasonable. I'm very happy and you will be too!

We received the best service!!! The gentlemen that work here are super nice and respectful. We had an issue with our car battery. Our roadside service was able to jump the battery but it needed a several hour charge. We were visiting our daughter and her family and we are out of towners. The Hyundai dealer in Lynn ignored our phone calls to take it there for a diagnostic. When we called Precision they told us to bring it right over to charge the battery. We left the vehicle all afternoon. When we went to pick it up, we asked how much we owed and the young man at the counter Liam said "no charge". We really appreciated how quickly they responded to our request and highly recommend this business for care care!

Great service! Honest and polite. I needed to have a key programmed to avoid going to the Land Rover dealer and they were able to get it done same day. They had several Rovers in being repaired and appear to be the local experts. In addition they did a complementary assessment on the condition of my car! Would recommend!

We scheduled an appointment to get our brakes fixed. We were quoted a price and the appointment was scheduled. Everything about this experience was easy! I dropped off the car a bit early - no problem! They did the work in a couple of hours and texted me when the car was ready. When I got there to pick up the car, we were charged exactly what we were quoted and there was no hassle with picking up the car. No surprises which can be common at other shops in my experience. They are very friendly as well. We will be back!

Honestly, I don't usually write reviews, but in this case I feel the need. Long story short, my son brought his car to Precision for the first time a couple of weeks ago. It had no problems, other than making an annoying noise. After diagnostics they replaced a part for $600.00 and told him the car was "all set". One day later his car completely broke down and had to be towed back there (another $100.00). After a second diagnostic test they claimed it was now the spark plugs and it was "a coincidence " that the car broke down. They wanted to charge him another $300.00. I said absolutely not and had we had the car towed to another repair shop. I asked for the owner to contact me so we could further discuss the details and he never called. I highly recommend going elsewhere, especially if you're not from Marblehead.

Very friendly and professional, good at what they do. They found a serious issue that other mechanics had missed and dismissed me about because the car was newer and I am clueless. Turned out it was fixable under warranty, and then even the dealership tried to dodge the issue!! So grateful to precision for taking the time to find the problem, honestly don t know what would have happened otherwise..

"Excellent, professional, knowledgeable service. "I had to have my vehicle towed there with an unknown noise coming from the engine. The diagnosis was accurate and provided to me in a timely fashion. The needed work was not worth doing on a vehicle of this age but none the less, everyone I encountered was friendly and completely understanding of the situation. An excellent suggestion was made to donate the vehicle to Kars4Kids and they continued to make sure they did everything they could to help me out. The shop was neat and organized and well maintained. Hard to find a repair shop like this these days! I consider myself fortunate to be a customer.

Patience and Hard Work dealing with an older carWe have worked with Precision in the past, as they've done some complicated jobs on our 2002 PT Cruiser. This time, it was in regards to a 2000 Chrysler Sebring Convertible, that I'd took the risk on purchasing online - sight unseen delivered from FL. Overall, Precision looked the car over, and there was nothing 'seriously' wrong with it, and infact, in some ways its in really good shape, however, as it was a snow-bird car, with low miles, it sat a lot, and didn't really get its proper routine maintenance - for 20 years. Therefore - Precision did a lot of work - timing and drive belts, gaskets, complete tune up, fluids, front and rear suspension work, and brake work - plus a few random issues that any older car could have. Either way - the bill was high, but fair for the time and effort they'd invested. You get what you pay for - is the saying. The technician is super, and really gets into the details of what needs to be fixed and/or adjusted, and he's tenacious, and doesn't give up, and charges fairly and justly for certain 'wild good chase' tasks. The car feels great, it runs great, and it feels solid as though it was a much younger vehicle. Paul as the Service Advisor is always great - detail oriented, explaining everything in detail, and always positive and reassuring. Katie also helped out in liaising with the technicians, and is always positive and kind. For our vehicles not under dealer contract - Precision is now our go-to service garage, and we'll be happy to take either of these older vehicles back to them for work/maintenance. Their attention to detail, and ability to problem solve is worth the expense - if you care about your car, and understand what it feels like when work is well done in machine - then i highly recommend Precision.

Some of the best and most mechanical talented crew I've ever let work on my cars and once you've visted once it will probably become your new go-to local mechanic shop. From fancy cars to your old cheap beater car they all get treated with incredible respect and most of all quality of work is unmatched locally alongside the great staff I don't believe I'll be going anywhere else anytime soon.

I wrote my previous post in the heat of the moment which I shouldn't have. It really hasn't been a great year. My car I know has a lot of problems and when you try to explain what is going on and no body can seem to figure out what is wrong gets very frustrating. I know that this place really did try to help me out in trying to fix my car. My main issue was communication between us and them. And price quotes. The night my dad brought me to pick up my car it didn't start. Ya not good but the guy that was there came out to help us get it started. I don't know his name but I am very thankful for that. Being a college student I have to be frugal with my money and them being a business they need to make money. I didn't mean to write such hurtful things and I really do appreciate all you guys did to try and help me out.

When the heater stops working on the passenger side in February, its time for Precision Motor Works! They diagnosed the problem, called me to explain the problem, ordered the part which arrived the next day, and had me back on the road in a warm car that afternoon. Thank You Precision. Great Service all around.

They love cars, and they treat mine as if it were their own. I recently had a car wheel replaced, and they found a used one at half the price of a new one. Since my car isn't new, either, the wheel matched perfectly! I would tell everybody I know to use Precision Motor Werks. They close at five, and they're not open on weekends, but they'll go out of their way to accommodate your schedule.

I have been bringing our vehicles to Precesion for years. I am always confident that the work will be done correctly and at a fair rate. No one likes to have to get their vehicles worked on. However, at least with this shop you know when it's necessary the work is going to be done right.

You can stop looking for a solid mechanic, because you have found them. Kent and the staff know their business. If you have a classic BMW this is the shop for you. Have gone above and beyond to help me understand what my car needs and how to fix it.

Great service, most recent saved an extra key I store on the undercarriage in case of losing key. Magnetic box had rusted off, looked like scrap but they saved it. It was my extra key!All service is done with attention to detail! Also, printouts of services done!

If you are in Marblehead this is the place to take your car for service and evaluation if your warning lights come on. They are honest, responsive and only provide what your car needs - but also let you know of potential upcoming issues that may need fixing "down the road." Don't go to your car dealership for routine services - these guys can do it all!

Simply the best automotive repair shop around. Friendly, courteous, prompt, insight full, excellent at communicating and setting appropriate expectations of repair time, complexity and cost. If you try them once, you won't go anywhere else for your automotive repairs.

These folks are the best. They are honest, hard working, and charming! When the tow company would tow my car to them because of an expired sticker, they sent a gent down the street to jump it and bring it in. That is above and beyond the usual service.

Had a wonderful experience because Paul can communicate. He explained what he did and why and offered recommendations for future reference to my water leak problem. As an "older women", I'm too used to being addressed without much regard so this experience at Precision was impressive.

Asked them to do an oil change and repair inoperable a/c on Nissan Maxima. Charged me $224 for the oil change and claimed that they could not fill a/c with freon on account of bad Temperature Exchange Valve. Quoted an additional $250 to replace TXV.Took the car to Kelly Nissan in Beverly. Technician had never heard of a TXV. They quoted $129.95 for a complete a/c check and reload freon. Found nothing whatsoever wrong with a/c. Charged me as quoted. Job complete in 45 minutes. When confronted Precision Tech admitted to problems with their a/c machine. I asked for and got a $100 credit. Bottom line: I paid $124 for an oil change.
