This place is now called "Gerson Auto Repair" DO NOT COME HERE! I wish there was an option for less than 1 star!I was stuck without a ride so I came here (I live down the street) instead of my regular place to get brakes and new battery. They never called to tell me how much it would be and what needed to be fixed and to ask if they should go ahead with the work (like every other place has always done) They just did the work and called me to tell me it's ready. When I saw the invoice was over $2000, I almost fainted. Then to twist the knife a little further I noticed I was charged an extra $80 (not included on the invoice) after they ran my credit card and when I inquired about the cc receipt being 80 dollars more than the invoice, he says "the credit card company charges this as a processing fee" When have you EVER heard of a company passing on their credit card fees to a customer? And again without even a warning! A few weeks later I needed an inspection sticker and failed due to some malfunction with my emergency brake. I took it to my regular guy and he told me whoever did my brakes screwed up the e-brake and then said "Who the hell did your brakes?" When I told him what they SUPPOSEDLY did (brakes, calipers, rotors, new battery, etc)and what they charged me, he couldn't believe it. He said, "I don't know how to tell you this but.... those calipers are not new, I can see they just spray painted the old ones. " Then he took out a calculator and added up what they charged me for and told me I would've only paid $1000 at my regular place. MORE THAN HALF of what I paid these criminals. And that would've been WITH actually new calipers! Of course there's nothing I can do now but the least I can do is warn people. ESPECIALLY if you're a single woman ....and single women, you know what I mean with some of these auto mechanics... This is DEFINITELY one of those places to steer clear of. Straight up THIEVES.

I took my car there about 2 years ago due to my tires getting popped. These guys have had bad reputation in the neighborhood for a while. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and asked them to do a basic maintenance and see if they can PATCH UP the wheels.I left my car there in the morning they said the basic maintenance would be free and they'll tell me about my tires later. When I came back to pick it up later that day, the car was jacked up already with the hood opened and tires gone. I began questioning their motive and they explained to me that this is "normal" procedure.The next day, I came back again and was billed for $1500. The owner Lawrence told me the reason was that they placed on good tires, changed the oil and fixed my AC. They wouldn't let me leave without paying.I paid up and a few days later, the AC was broken again. I took it to another repair shop a friend recommended and they told me that the AC was never "fixed", all they did was charging it with freon. They also told me that the tires they replaced are USED Chinese tires that were probably taken off a totaled car.DO NOT GO HERE!

I live right up the street, and when my cars radiator burst and started smoking in my driveway, Everton was kind enough to drop everything he was doing to rush over and help. Less than half a day later, I now have a new working radiator, and a newfound respect for this auto shop. Thanks for the quick turnaround E!

The owner Lawrence Vozzella is a liar and a huge scammer. He assured me I would be treated right at his business as I brought my Jeep to have the shocks and tires replaced. They charged me $2,000 in labor and overnighted a part a did not need for my A/C.Then after telling the owner on the phone how I disagree with the price, he had a meltdown and began swearing at me over the phone.Do not come here.

It is not safe to bring your business here.The owner of JKA Auto & Truck has a reputation for dishonesty, and violence. I wasn t even a customer, just a passerby on the sidewalk. The owner crossed the street blocked my way and had his own little personal meltdown in front of me. Swearing & threatening me the entire time. It seems he mistook me for someone he had a conflict with 6 months ago and wouldn t believe I d never seen him before.I then reported the threats to the police, who were well aware of him. After that I learned of his violent reputation in the neighborhood. A violent nature I ve now witnessed 1st hand.Keep clear of this place!

Worst place ever, tried to screw me out of a grand.brought it there because my check engine light was on and I needed an oil change.. the owner told us a price we put a down payment on it. They had it for several days without fixing it so we demanded it back which they were refusing to do for 2 days we had to get the police involved in everything the drug addicted psychotic owner screamed at my husband and pushed him when we were demanding our money back... After all that chaos the police, who knows this guy by name and where he lives because they have to deal with him on a regular basis, helped us get our money back. It drove worse than before and had a few pieces missing. I had to take my car to the dealership, and despite the owner of jka saying they did an oil change, the workers at the dealership said that they didn't even change the oil so he was just trying to screw us out of more money....never go to this place! Worst experience I've had to deal with at any body shop

We have been bringing our equipment here for 30 years. If they haven't seen the problem before Ritchie learns about it, researches it, and fixes it. They are dedicated to their work and every person on the JKA team excels at their role. We are only as reliable as our team of mechanics who keep us going during brutal winter conditions, and because of JKA, we have become one of the most reliable commercial snow companies in New England.

Don't go! You will be fooled!I asked him to change my timing chain and he told me $800 all included. One week later he asked me $875, and finally he claimed $985..And surprise! He did not change my timing chain!I came JKA with a car check engine light on and with $985, two weeks later I am still with a car check engine light on and without $985.How can I take my money back???

Best mechanic in town. Real in and out with quality work. Lawrence, the owner came off as an instant friend and doesn't BS you. I highly recommend these guys.

I took my car there and they did tie rods ball joints and they fixed my stabilizer bar and they were very reasonable in price and would recommend it to anybod
