Scratched my wheels when mounting some new tires that I brought to them. Charged me $40 per tire.. First mistake. Second mistake was bringing it back, but I was close to work and was getting a brake noise diagnosed and an oil change. They removed the hardware from my brakes and replaced a squealing noise with a pad rattling noise when initially he said this would take care of the noises completely. Mike who apparently no longer works there charged me $250 for this and there was no way that they could put the hardware back without it being brand new after I called him out for the noise again.. Also, during the oil change - they dump out the oil and call me asking what oil I wanted. I asked for full synthetic as that's obviously what the car calls for. However, they apparently only had some kind of house-oil synthetic blend that they were trying to put in my car AFTER dumping the oil. I demanded full synthetic after some push back and that's what they put on the receipt. God only knows if it was full synthetic or not. DON'T GO HERE UNLESS ITS FOR GAS ONLY, MAYBE NOT EVEN THEN. Typical outside Boston service, save your money and go somewhere else.

We love Lexington auto, we started using them for our mechanic needs when we moved to town a year and a half ago. They are always efficient and well priced for their services. 10/10 recommend.

I was incredibly impressed by not only the flexibility they had with their schedule but also the services rendered. The mechanic called me and gave me a detailed description of the issue and they also had reasonable prices. Highly recommend!

Been at their shop for three times in the last two years for my 2008 car. Really experienced mechanics, honest diagnose and very reasonable pricing. I came here for an emissions test and everyone was so incredibly friendly, kind, and understanding! Also, it didn't take long at all! I'm very grateful and will definitely be back if I have any issues with my car in the future. Thanks again!

I recently moved to Lexington and wanted a "primary care" setup fro my 13 year old car that was neglected during the pandemic. I was able to get a quick appointment. Was given a clear estimate up front with transparency about the parts and labors. And the work was done on time. The final price was less than what was which I was surprised by. I will be coming back to this place and bringing my second car also.Update July 2023-Came back for routine visit and maintenance care. Impressed by the service and forthrightness when there was something that looked tricky on my new car fresh from the dealer.

While my husband has had good experience at this station, my experience was that the indivual at the front deck is not helpful and rude. I wonder what the difference could be between how helpful they are to my husband vs me.

Called to get inspection. Guy doesn t say it s cash only. No atms. Wasted entire lunch trying to do a simple errand because of this place. Would recommend a place with customer service

This is my third time visit with A/C problem. Simply fixed. Sam is amazing. He always explain well and fix the problem. Strongly recommended. I just updated my last posting.Fair price and excellent work. I visited here twice with different problems with my old car.Sam is a fantastic mechanic. Sam and George are both fantastic mechanics. I brought in my Volvo due to an exhaust pipe leak. Sam is knowledgeable and honest and told me that the pipes were discontinued, and he referred me to the right place for customized pipes/repairs. George told me how he would repair it and left it up to me to choose where to have my car fixed. I eventually chose the specialist but I have no doubt that George could get it done just as well. I trust both men now for their judgement and work.Services: Auto exhaust system repair, Auto exhaust system replacement

My car failed state inspection in another station due to exhaust leak. I brought the car here for a second look. Sam explained the problem patiently, ordered the parts right away, fixed the issue and put the pass sticker next day! The price is also very reasonable.Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

GAS..I just stopped in to get Gas as I've been doing for a long time.. Bing a quadriplegic and holding my credit card with my good hand ,trying to hand my card to the attended...he couldn't even come close enough to get my card. I asked I'm to come closer he refused, I said I can't reach you, he said you have 2 hands.. Why do you have ignorant people working for you??November 5th 1245pm

Fast, polite, and the pick up the phone to tell you if there is a wait to get your car inspected. Highly recommend. FYI must pay for inspection in cash- $35

The gentlemen here were very friendly and pleasant. Was able to walk in and get my car inspection very timely and he pointed out some potential areas I should look at.Edit: Just want to say that 4 years later and these guys are still great!

Fantastic experience with George! Honest, reliable, and only wants to do the jobs that are needed on the car. He also looked for buying parts that would be priced right. I am so thrilled we found this hidden GEM in Lexington!

Went in for an inspection. I couldn t tell if the person at the reception desk was being sarcastic or rude or both when answering questions . Decided to take my business elsewhere. I ve filled gas here before and the guy working the pump has always been nice so thought I d get the same experience with the people in the office/garage but disappointed that it didn t turn out to be so.

Got my inspection done here. The mechanic went beyond the call of duty to help me diagnose my issue and solved the issue. Very compassionate and friendly as well.

Very dishonest mechanic.I asked for a simple front break pad replacement, they replaced front and back break pads and all rotors.They told me on the phone all pads were gone and rotors were all damaged.I asked for the parts back to have a look, they made me sign a waiver.When I got the parts, rotors look fine and back break pad was almost new (about 20% used).

Better than Honda serviceMy experience with Lex Auto has been that they always manage to fix the issue, and at a significantly lower cost than the Honda dealer service. They have also fixed issues after the Honda dealer gave up on it, particularly for my older car. They have become my go to people for both my Hondas now.
