Cannot say enough about the great job Nirvana did on my van. I was blown away - and I had high expectations! From the first step of filling out the form to the exciting delivery, they have been a class act. I went this direction because I saw most RV builds and disliked the materials they used. My van, while on the higher end, is so solid, has the best windows, the best seats, best bed, all thanks to the Nirvana folks for walking me thru all the many many options! It was like designing a tiny house, only easier because of them. The quality and workmanship in every aspect of the build can be seen immediately. It's so solid. And everyone who has seen the van is amazed how nice it is.Take a look at the pictures, they tell the story.

The day I visited NU's shop to pick up my newly built-out van, I was overwhelmed. I knew it would be beautiful because their team had taken so much time working with me during the design process, taking into account so many details to create a custom interior that fit me and my specific requirements. But when I finally got to see the finished build, tears came to my eyes. The team created something truly beautiful and functional for me that I will appreciate for many, many years to come.

We had a wonderful experience with Nirvana! From guiding us on where to source our van to then helping to educate us on the best components in the market and then finally integrating a beautiful design to create the van of our dreams, we can t say enough good things about the Nirvana team. Throughout the whole process, Nirvana was easy to communicate with and incredibly personable. They re very transparent about timing and pricing. We ve been traveling in our van for months now and it has held up amazingly. We highly recommend Nirvana Upfitters for any of your van build or install needs! We already have a few future projects in mind that we plan on asking Nirvana to tackle for us!

My Sprinter + outfitting was a huge investment for me and I could not be happier with Jude and his team @ Nirvana Outfitters. They killed it. Very knowledgeable and personal at every turn. I very much liked meeting with them to go over all the details. Rolling the van out of the garage on pickup day was so dope. The whole team came out to send me off. Nearly cried! Thanks Nirvana!

I m a surfer, climber, sports dad, with an adventurous soul and at a time in life where I can enjoy short and potentially long travel with my wife.Several years ago I had a dream of building out my own van. I spent countless hours for at least a year researching the building process, and debate of purchasing a new or used van. I compared the cost and process to the cost and time with a plethora of builders across the country east, west north and south . I then had a unique opportunity and experience of helping a college grad in my neighborhood build out his brand new Ram ProMaster. What he thought would take 2 to 3 months part time ended up taking 8 months almost full time with my help and many things needing to be done a second time. Along with eventually needing to hire an electrician and ultimately spending almost twice as much as budgeted for. This experiential process confirmed and led me to the decision to not build out my own van, despite the potential money saved in the long run. The fact is; unless you are truly a professional builder, and incredibly gifted with engineering , wiring, plumbing along many other skills and loads of free time, your van may get completed and look decent and function, but safety and quality is always an unknown.I have gone through the process of designing a van with Jude at Nirvana Upfitters. His knowledge, experience, and patience is a combination that cannot be matched. I had looked into, communicated with and received quotes from other small to large companies. In the long run, I forewent buying a new van and bought a used van that had already been minimally built out by a lay person. It was good, but in order to fully function, I needed to upgrade. I discovered along the way that it needed much attention beyond just my desired upgrades. If you re going to get a van built, do it right the first time. You may spend a little bit more money with Nirvana than your own build out but you will get top-of-the-line, safe, reliable, long lasting quality that if you ever decide to exit the Vanlife, you ll be confident to be passing along a grade A van and receive a justifiable price.Nirvana and Jude s communication in preparation for and during the build out process is as professional as you get, and on top of that, when I picked up the van, the staff patiently took the time to make sure I understood how everything was connected, and functioned. I am proud to say I did not try to build my vani out myself and had Nirvana Upfitters complete my project.

The owner Jude and his team are awesome, they can crank out an incredibly awesome van build on the chassis platform of your choice. This is pretty rare on the east coast.

Every once in a while you come across a company, like Nirvana Upfitters, that is so incredibly well run that you just know great things will happen if you engage them. And that's exactly what happened. From the time of our first phone call, through a very insightful design phase, through building phase, and delivery, Jude and the Nirvana crew exhibited professionalism, caring, innovation, excellence, and more. Nirvana's uncanny ability to create a travel van exquisitely tailored to the adventure dreams, travel destinations, and day-to-day lifestyle of my wife and me was phenomenal. My wife, Mary, and I took the van all over the country to some of the most stunning mountain, ocean, forest, riverside, and city destinations imaginable. Back home now, we take the van out once a week, drive a few miles up the road to a spectacular vista of our choice. We park by the side of the road, play music, have cocktails, make dinner, and talk about life--all in the van as we watch sunset and beyond. Having a Nirvana Upfitters van is like having a living room or kitchen or bedroom of your house that detaches and can be magically spirited away to a destination of your dreams.
