I am a mechanic for 40 years and the only tools I don't have is torches and a lift so I called them to have 2 studs and a donut installed for my exhaust system. I spoke with Antony the store manager he quoted me $187 when I got there they took me in right away without an appointment. Antony took on the job when he was finished it cost me $159.57 on my way home a stud broke off so I went back and Antony took care of that he recommended a flex-pipe for an extra $70. I said OK. Antony was through with his work I am impressed. For what I observed Antony was great with all the customers and honest. I never like going to shops! If I have to? I would go here. I give Antony five stars!

I went to my vehicle at 124 thousand miles and had the oil serviced. Currently at 129 thousand miles, he said he put oil at 8 thousand kilometers, but today my car engine light turned on, I went to them again and told them that the engine light was on due to the oil change, they said there was a problem with my Hybrid battery. He told me to go to the dealer. When I went to the Ford dealer he said I needed to change the oil. So the engine light coming on was due to the oil change I did at Monro. I don't know much English, so I use a translation application so we can understand each other At the Ford dealership, the man told me that there was no problem with the hybrid, that is, there is nothing wrong with the hybrid, that's why I am writing this article, I gave it 3 stars to stay on top, otherwise it does not deserve 1 st but the manager there is sulking, making different movements, knocking on the door hard, showing a racist attitude, don't worry my dear friend, we will have the same rights soon

I ve had bad experience with auto shops in the past. Always feeling like I m getting overcharged for parts and services. Monroe is not one of these places. They do an amazingly efficient and effective job every time. Couldn t recommend them more and if they re busy, it s bc they re THAT good and it s always better to make an apt.

I have been on the road for 4 hours and stop to get a coffee and notice that my tire had a big bump. Bulging on the sidewalk. I came to the Pittsfield Monroe. And they were quick past and easy. They made my bad tire experience a pleasant one. And I would highly recommend them to anyone.great service, quick and easy, will use them again

Staff is friendly and efficient. I'm not as knowledgeable about car maintenance as I'd like to be, but I never feel like staff is talking down to me. They tell it like it is, and it feels like they genuinely want to solve your car troubles. Would definitely recommend.

When in for an oil change & tire rotation and have them properly inflated. They rotated the tires did not reset tire sensors or inflate the tires. The PSI on all the tires was messed up, I called to get it fixed, manager Anthony said resetting the sensors and adding air was extra. offered to get me right in but would have to pay more. I went to City Tire in Pittsfield they reset the sensors & properly inflated my tires for FREE. They couldn't believe Monroe would charge extra for that when they rotate tires. Neither could I.Go to CITY TIRE!

I had a flat tire and when I called, Anthony said I could come right in. Didn't have to wait long before they got my car in and tire fixed. There all so kind and efficient. Will recommend this place to anyone that needs help with there vehicle

I had a problem with my truck and they were the closest shop I could get the truck to safely. You never get a second chance to make a first impression and this one is an emphatic WOW. They did a great repair job, did the repair fast and priced fairly. Dealership would have taken several days if not weeks and charged me a lot more. The Monroe team had my truck back to me the next day. Monroe rocks.

Jacob pierce was the manager on duty last week and helped me out with lift gate struts for my suv. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and really helpful. I had been waiting for this equipment for over a month mark had ordered them for me but were on back order. Mark and Jacob have both been very helpful and I will continue to bring my car to monro because of them. Anthony is also a great asset to the team very helpful!

I have been going here for several oil changes and every time I ask for a tire rotation it is never done. The reason I know this for sure is because one tire has a very, very slow leak that I just got repaired after this last oil change. And that tire is always in the same spot when I check the pressure. And yes, my sensor is in working order. The first few times I have them a pass because this location is convenient but now, I am not convinced my oil has even been changed. Not to mention, not rotating my tires is decreasing the life of them overall. Wouldn t recommend Monroe to anyone.

I have been going to this place for some time now. My prior experiences were OK, until this year. The new management and staff excel in every way. William was amazing, the Manger. He definitely cares about doing a great job and wants his customers to have a great experience. His mechanics went the extra mile to make sure i was happy and understood my repair needs. They are knowledgeable, friendly and good at what they do. I have found what all people should have in a mechanics shop. So I would without doubt recommend this location for all you repair needs.

The guys at the Lenox shop were wonderful. William went above and beyond to repair my car. Chino, the tech who worked on my car, sat with me and explained everything that needed to be done. They even worked on my car till they closed because Chino was off the next day, and he wanted to finish the job. I want to thank everyone at the Lenox shop. I can't remember the young man who was there manning the desk on Monday, but like William, he also went above and beyond. I've been looking for a mechanic for 15 years because guy closed shop and retired. I'm happy to say I found "my shop"

On Saturday, June 11th, I went in to have my A/C serviced which had stopped working the week prior.. 2 -3 weeks before that, I had the car serviced at Mavis where they replaced 2 bad tires, the breaks, and several other things. Mavis was nice enough to offer me a complimentary new battery, new wipers, and a few other items because the car needed a lot more work than I had originally thought. The only reason I didn't return to Mavis was because they don't service A/C's. I go to Monro and am seen by "William", who loves to call you "My Man", which should have been my first red flag. He calls around and finds me a small part that was needed to repair my leaking A/C. Promises the car will be ready that afternoon. Since they close at 5, and I'm about 30 minutes away, I call to confirm the car is ready. It was not, and would not be ready by the close of business. Fine, I had access to another car, so I figure I can wait until the next day. William (again) promises me it will be done first thing Sunday morning. It wasn't. Did they call me to let me know? No. I called and was told that the car has a lot of issues. They state that my check engine light is on, and made a point to state that it was on when I arrived (it most certainly was not on), and upon plugging into their computer indicates an issue with the Map Sensor. They say the car is misfiring, and that my battery needs replacing. What??? The battery was about 2 weeks old!!! Nonetheless, I ask them if the car is drivable, to which they hem and haw but say sure - since they couldn't repair it that day. Here's where the story gets really good. They tell me that I need a new Map Sensor as the car is misfiring very badly, causing it to stall out.Fast forward 3 days to today. I'm back home in NYC and barely get the car to my local garage that has been servicing my car for over 10 years. I tell them what I was told by Monro, so they open the hood and take a look. The guy immediately says, I know what the problem is. The cable to the Map Sensor was unplugged. Now, for those that know anything about cars, they know that cables don't just fall out. They have a mechanism built in that keeps them from doing just that. He says that there is no way it fell out, and that the previous garage (Monro) was trying to rip me off. The Map Sensor is toward the back (near the windshield) and the new A/C line was right near the front - NO WHERE NEAR THE MAP SENSOR!! Of this, he had no doubt. He plugged it in, turned on the car and voila, it was running perfectly again.I will be following up with Monro, and if necessary, the State of Massachusetts, the Better Business Bureau, and whoever else needs to be made aware. For you that have read this far, I say this. AVOID THIS MONRO AT ALL COSTS!! They are LIARS and CHEATS!!!B E W A R E !!!!!!!!

Mark, Thank you Thank you Thank you. My car's tire blew up in the middle of mass pike. They were able to help me out and even went the extra mile and send the guy to change my tire. This is absolutely amazing store and the owner has a true heart! If I don't live in NY, I would come back here for all my auto service works! Also, Mark please Send me a text.
