David and the employees at his shop provide excellent service at fair and honest prices. They do not cut corners and are thorough and efficient. I had a "quick" DIY that turned into an ugly headache, as they often do with older cars in the northeast.Their shop was able to take the car in the next day, and resolved the issue for less labor than anticipated by the afternoon. These guys really are professionals! Broken bolts, northeast cars, they know how to get the job done correctly the first time without having to worry!And again, the great work was done efficiently without adding unnecessary cost, very honest pricing compared to some other area mechanics. This will be my new go-to autoshop in the Northampton area. 6 stars if I could!!

When our former auto repair shop closed its doors in Williamsburg I gave David's Auto a try. No regrets. David and his crew are highly competent, courteous, responsive and fair. David is a straight shooter and has never tried to upsell in any way. This is hands down the best mechanic where we've serviced our cars. David is knowledgeable, really kind and friendly, honest, does great work, and has fair prices. The entire crew there is also fantastic.

The check engine light used to trigger fear in my heart (and wallet) but David s Auto has helped me overcome my auto anxiety. Everyone there is friendly and helpful. David s commitment to honesty and integrity is beyond compare. From routine maintenance to complicated repairs the attention to detail is incredible.I gave 5 stars but actually David s Auto deserves 10 stars.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto maintenance

So wonderful, kind, honest, and reasonable. Before David did any work on the car, he assessed it and gave me a cost estimate, and talked over the phone with me about whether it was worth it to repair my old car. I ultimately decided it was, and he did a wonderful and speedy job and threw in a few fixes I didn t know needed doing! He was communicative and honest throughout the whole process. If you re in the Northampton area and need car repairs, I highly recommend David s Auto. I have several shops closer to me but choose to have my car brought there because it s worth it.Service: Engine repair

I cannot believe I am writing this almost 2 years later but its undeniable. I dont have stands and most auto shops wont let you look so I had no idea whether or not these guys actually replaced my exhaust but the leak sound had gone away do I assumed so. Took it to a local midas recently for an oil change, they brought me into the shop to show me some brake issuees, and oml my entire exhaust is oem parts the only thing that may have been replaced "recently" is a couple sleevs which are pretty worn and leaking. I still have an the over 2000$ bill i paid these scum to do jack sht now i need to pay someone again to actually fix my exhaust because its beginning to leak again.

David is incredible! The nicest, most helpful mechanic I ve ever been to. He listens so carefully and is really communicative and accommodating. I feel so comfortable with him and he answers all my questions. Prices are good, too, and especially for the amount of information and detail he provides.

I have the pleasure of knowing David as both my daughter's soccer coach and my trustworthy mechanic. He replaced a starter on my vehicle and cleaned up some shoddy electrical work that was done when I had an after-market hitch wiring installed on my vehicle elsewhere. He's a great, honest mechanic. Great friendly knowledgeable mechanics David and Dana. They're quick to get your car repaired and back on the road with competitive rates. Nice customer waiting area and clean modern repair bays. You should try them to repair your car, you won't be disappointed!..... just got my car back from being repaired. they did exhaust from the cat back, rear wheel bearing and brakes. Happy with the repairs and the price!!

I'd tell you how absolutely amazing this place is but then it would be so busy I'd never be able to get in for an appointment. But I'm not going anywhere else, ever. If that tells you anything. ;)
