I went to Independent Import Spec. on a refferal and I'm glad I did. They did a great job with my jeep and were very efficient. They are honest and reliable and they let you know exactly what's going on with the car. Their pricing is fair and affordable and I will definitely go back to them if I have an issue with my jeep again.

If your looking for a cheap fix this isn't the place, if you looking for communication, great work at very affordable costs by an amazing mechanic. Erving and his Crew is the place to go. Efficient, reliable, affordable, trustworthy, and best of all honest. You don't find many of those. Highly recommended.Thanks you guys

For the foreseeable future my family and I will never go to another shop for any work on our cars!! Erving and his team go above and beyond no matter how big or small a job is. They are efficient, kind and are the best prices around for the quality work and care you receive!!! Thank you all for getting us through another bout of car stress and making the process so simple

Spoke to Erving very professional honest pricing was beyond fair he really took the time to explain to me anything I didn t understand super nice guy would go to him again and I highly recommend him this place has wicked knowledgeable staff they all know what there doing very impressed and thankful to have brought my car here

Timing chain, amongst other small issues. Erwin was professional and knew exactly what the issue was. Was very honest and price was significantly cheaper than what I was quoted at first! I appreciated his honesty! Definitely not out to get your money! Would highly recommend and also will continue my business here!

2004 Jetta. Replaced engine exhaust pipe, catalytic converter, and rear pipe to the muffler. Bent the pipe at the shop so saved me big money there. Also did front rotors, shoes, and rebuilt one caliper. Last of all replaced transmission pan and filled with new fluid. Erving keeps the car running at a price that makes the repairs worth it and avoids me needing to find a replacement. Erving does all my work, 4 car family. This place is just awesome! The owner (Irving) is an absolute professional in every single way. Respectful, honest, and highly knowledgeable. The place is clean, and the workers are respectful. I've taken my cars including my children's cars, I've referred many friends and family members and all have great reviews. I'd highly recommend this shop! I've had a transmission rebuilt five yrs ago and my car is still running strong. I bought my daughter a new car with extra warranty from a local dealer, and two yrs later something went wrong. I took it into the new car dealers shop and two days later they said that the problem wasn't covered and that it would be $700.00. I then took it to independent import specialist and Irving was able to quickly pin point the exact problem, (which was the total opposite of what the dealer had said) and said that the job should not cost more than $50.00 and that it should be covered by the warranty. Irving did not try to take the job. I took it back to the dealer, and sure enough it was exactly what Irving had said. Other mechanics would have just said, sure I'll fix it, charged me, and gotten over. But not Irving.... Because he is as honest as there can be and you don't find many like him.

Out of all the auto shops I've been in over the years, this one is the best one and the one i go to for everything i need done to my Honda vehicles. The owner (Irving) makes you feel very comfortable with how honest he is. The place is very clean, they know what they are doing, fast service and they are very trustworthy.

Took 2 out of my 3 vehicles to get fixed and maintenance and I was very hesitant at first since it's hard to find a good mechanic and this team of mechanics left my vehicles running with out any of the problems my previous mechanic could not fix. I will be taking my 3rd vehicle to the shop and get it fixed . Very honest mechanic and will always take my cars to him.

This is a very good mechanic shop. I just love it here irving the owner is a very nice guy has alot of knowledge when it comes to cars and is very responsible. He works on cars very well I've been his customer for over 5 years and I'll recommend this shop to anybody to bring there car.

The owner Irving is the most honest and reliable mechanic I have ever had! I live in Amesbury and I go to Lawrence, just so he can work on my cars. He always makes sure to call me and ask before doing the work, if the total cost starts to get to high.

brought my 05 accord ex with 119k miles in for engine oil/ filter change and front brakes.I beleive independent import to be honest, fair with reasonable pricing.location is such walk to dunkin donuts for coffee then sat in a local park watching people etc until got a call my care was ready.price was as discussed.friendly group of people work here.will definitely return and do recommenddid not try to sell me additional services.
