I needed emergency break repair because my front breaks were grinding metal on metal on rotors and I could no longer drive safely and without scaring half the neighborbooh with the horrible sound. They took me in right away, explained the issue very thoroughly and by end of the day I had my car back! The front brake pads and rotors had to be replaced, but they were able to save the calipers. Patrick is the most honest mechanic I have met. He runs a good crew and provides a cogent explanation of what goes awry. Good mechanics are hard to find, but this place is a good place.

Patrick is a really nice guy and it's always a good sign when several of your local friends swear by a mechanic like him. I had an issue with a noise that was coming from one of my rear wheels after a brake and rotor job that was performed by another mechanic on a cross-state trip. Patrick took care of the issue in the span of a day and by sundown, I had my car back with the noise pinpointed and eliminated at a fair price. I'll be coming back to West Cork Auto in the future for maintenance and other car issues that arise. The hours make it easy to bring your car in early.

I had brake trouble I noticed just a couple days before traveling for Thanksgiving. Brought it in to West Cork the next day, Patrick helped me out and they were able to get it fixed that day (despite the fact that it was particularly busy), and at a reasonable price. 10 stars if I could give them!! Of all the countless repair places I have been too.. West Cork Auto is the stand alone BEST among them..I The Owner Patrick is nothing short of AMAZING.. He and his crew are very knowledgeable, fixes car issues FAS,T and the prices are surprisingly reasonable and affordable..in a word: TRUSTWORTHY.. Very honest business. They get you in and out FAST without the usual wallet crushing totals typical of other repair shops. The service I get at Cork Auto is just beyond stellar.. I recommend this shop to everyone!! Thank you Patrick!!! You're the BEST!!

First time at West Cork Auto, experience was very positive. Pat was professional, and friendly. He was able to make repairs to my Jeep and offered future suggestions. He was honest and upfront with what needed to be done and the cost in which it would be to fix. I'd recommend West Cork Auto to anyone for car repairs and plan to go back in the future.

I've been going here for a little over a year now, and have complete confidence in Patrick and his crew, which is more than I could say for any other auto shop I've been to as of yet. If this somehow changes, I will update my review, but thus far I've found West Cork to be reliable and honest.

Patrick, the owner, really is the best. I had to come to him twice for some significant issues with my car. The first time, he showed and explained all the problems with my car. The second time, was right before Thanksgiving and I was in a extreme bind as my car was the only means for travelling to my family's home. It was a long drive and there were no reasonable flights, trains or cars available. He went out of his way to request a part I needed to replace and completed the work so I had enough time to drive home and make it for the holidays. I was so thankful for his commitment to helping me with this issue, as he could have told me I would have to wait till after the break. I would highly recommend this shop because of Patrick's amazing service!

My car developed a fault in one part of the exhaust system and would make a loud and weird noise every time I hit the gas pedal. Not being able to drive my car over 5 miles per hour, I decided to go to see Patrick since his shop is within 1 mile of me.Before I get to the criticism, let me acknowledge that he is very good at his job, and knows exactly what he is doing. He heard my car come in and knew it was an exhaust related problem.His people skills however are lacking. This being my first car, I don't have much experience in dealing with car issues and always have a lot of questions for people. Patrick wasn't very interested in answering them and dismissed me every time I wanted clarification. After he was done with my car, and I came to pick it up, not only was he not reassuring, but didn't want to answer any of my queries or even explain the basics to me. If I'm paying you $450+ for 2-3 hours of work, as the customer I deserve to know EXACTLY what's being done. My other experience has been with Perfection Auto Body shop in Waltham and they are superb in this regard. I would have gone there if I could drive my car that far. Anyways, it seems like he has fixed my current issue, not entirely sure how. What I am sure off is that I won't be going there again and would advise other inexperienced drivers like myslef to do the same.

Treated me like family. Made sure my car was safe to drive. Full rear brake job and one bad wheel bearing. Told me to call with any car issue and he will take care of it. Felt really great being new to the area

The staff are honest, direct, and personable. We've used West Cork for our cars on several occasions. The repairs are quick and reasonably priced. I'd drive across the city for their service if I had to.

I haven't technically had any work done on my car at West Cork Auto. However, I brought my car in for a diagnosis, and even though they spent a very long time explaining to me the problem and why they weren't able to fix it, I was not charged for their time. I would recommend this place highly.

An excellent, honest auto shop with competitive prices. I sometimes turned to this shop to correct the mistakes of other shops in the area. Highly recommended.
