Went in for an inspection sticker and was promptly attended to per usual. I was in and out in less than half an hour. I trust Akiki and am always treated professionally there. They are a tremendous asset to our community. The owner Elias Aliki does so much for Hyde Park and he does it quietly and graciously.

Very quick and professional. I had an inspection done but they have also saved me in the past with a flat tire. Everyone I work with refers others to Akiki!

I would give them 50 stars if I could!!! I had an absolute nightmare with a flat tire, couldn't change it to a spare (because the last time I had my car serviced at NuCar Norwood they mangled up my locking wheel nut and didn't tell me, so when I tried to take it to get a new tire at a different place, they couldn't get the wheel off!!!)I called Akiki to get them to tow me to the West Roxbury Toyota dealer, and when Sam arrived he suggested that he try to get the wheel nut off for me, and he had it off in less than 5mins. He kindly changed my flat tire to my donut, and put the flat in my trunk. This cost me less than a tow, but he genuinely wanted to find the best solution for me, rather than just taking my money!! This kind of care is SO RARE, especially for females who don't have family around to help!!!!! THANK YOU SAM, Thank you AKIKI, you have restored my faith in car mechanics!!!!!!I'm sure that lots of people, not just females, think that if they take their car to the dealer that they wont get screwed...... NOT TRUE!!!!!! I know who I will be entrusting my car to in future, and it won't be NuCar Norwood, that's for certain!!!!!

I ve brought my car to Akiki a few times over the years for minor repairs oil changes etc. But this time I had a significant amount of mechanical work and issues to be addressed and the staff was upfront about the costs and the time for the work that needed to be done. They were very responsive to my questions and concerns. I would definitely recommend Akiki! My car is running great.

I had TNC inspection of our SUV at this service, and found their staff professional and attentive. Inspection of our vehicle carried out seamlessly and expeditiously. No appointment is required for the TNC inspections at this service.

Customer service is becoming an issue at this place. It s unfortunate because I ve been going there for years. I walked in for an inspection sticker and there was a guy already waiting. I heard 3 ladies talking in the back behind the counter. I approached the counter so I can be seen, one of the ladies ( short, blonde hair) looked at us and went back to her conversation. So I asked the guy if he s been seen already and he said no. Then two of them came out from the back where now both of them can clearly see us waiting and they still didn t say anything to us. So I had to ask if I needed to come back since they didn t seem like they wanted to address us, and that s when they asked if they could help us. If I didn t say anything, they would have continued to ignore us

Akiki is very good at fixing an issue, once identified, on your vehicle. The automotive technician s are good. However, they are lacking in the preventative maintenance department. I brought my vehicle in multiple times to have oil changed/issue check and I was never told/advised about a potential safety issue concerning a severely rusted/corroded bolt on my exhaust manifold/floor boards, so that I could pay attention/be aware of the issue so I could what was necessary to address/fix it. Again, they are great at resolving issues; I would just prefer them to be more proactive and advise me of the possibility so that I can address it before it breaks.

My car broke down today in the middle of a parking lot. I called Akiki Auto Repair as they were the closest option for towing. The dispatcher was friendly and helpful and told me the tow truck will be there in about an hour. About 30 mins later the tow truck shows up and the driver is also very friendly and helpful. I ve never used Akiki Auto before but after experiencing the amazing customer service I will be going back to them for any other car services I may have in the future!

Thank you! I caught a flat and drove to akiki at 645am. Waited for them to open. She came and opened the door at 7am sharp. Got my flat fix in 20 mins. And drove off to downtown to work. Grueling 1.5 hour in traffic. Thank YOU!!!

Great experience replacing my tires at Akiki.They noticed my tires were in desperate need of replacement when I was there for another matter . They were able to get me in quickly and at my convenience. I would highly recommend them !

The staff at Akiki Auto Repair were so pleasant, so thoughtful & so helpful. They had contacted an Uber for me, so I could get a ride home. The repair job on my car was done sooner than I expected & they had indicated the warranty on the automotive parts they installed in my car. I'm so grateful that my car is running great again ! Thank you, everyone at Akiki Auto Repair ! :D I'll definitely contact Akiki the next time my car needs future repairs & etc. :)

It was a long wait because the inspector was on break but the staff was friendly and made sure I was comfortable. Once he took my car the service was quick and efficient. I will return here in the future.

Akiki is always my only choice when I need something done on my Tahoe. The office was quick to schedule me to get new tires installed with snow coming and had me in and out in just over an hour WITH and alignment and what looked like a busy Thursday there. Happy I found them years ago and will be back in spring for some maintenence. Thank you all!

Akiki is a great neighborhood service place. I been coming here for all my car needs from the yearly inspection to my families insurance repairs. They are friendly, knowledgeable and fair.

I have not been kind to my car for a whole year-and Akiki auto repair took care of everything, including the broken door, which these auto doors are not an easy fix. The brakes/ rotors / caliper -it was a complete mess. These guys know what they re doing !! they repaired everything and kept me a informed every step and All at a great price! Plus a complementary, vacuum and wipe down in the car, And they warranty their work. Just drop your car off and forget all your worries and Akiki is number one!Update! Still 5 stars!! End of Feb- I went in for tire balancing and they found the other caliper stiff in rough shape like the other was2 months prior/ they replaced it and put in new pads and routers for free - honoring their warranty! Im so very happy with Akiki!

They were very professional and communicative, and upfront about their costs with no pressure to do anything. But honestly at these prices (they say at the desk labor is $150/hr) I may as well have gone to the dealership...

I took my car to pleasant auto in Watertown and after 1760 in repairs they claim my car needed they still refused to give me a mass inspection sticker.I took the car to Assad and he showed me repairs pleasant auto had said they had done but we're not .He replaced the break light bulb and gave me my stickerTHANK YOU SO MUCH .I feel I got robbed at pleasant auto . But I found a trustworthy person in Assad .See you soon ,Ali

I ve been here twice now and have come away very satisfied. I ve also tried a couple of other repair shops near me that aren t bad, but will probably make Akiki my first choice repair shop even though they are a little bit further than the others.
