I have been at Sullivan s in Hyannis for 5 times. And finally I decided that I deserve be treated much better than I have been treated there. I like the service but the staff at the front desk definitely don t know or don t care about to be polite with clients especially with women. First I thought it could be because of my accent. The next time I thought it could be because I didn t know or understood the auto parts. But after red the reviews I found out that more women complained about it and also about the costumer service. It was the last time that I took my car there.

Shop was great. Got everything done quickly, and charged the price they quoted. Even told me to not bother getting extra services I inquired about because they were unnecessary in my situation. Great experience!

They charged ~900 for two brakes. You re much better off going to Town Fair or a local shop. Huge cash grab.

They put a gigantic 2 foot crack in our windshield after we brought it in for a simple tire change. They refused to take responsibility for the crack in the windshield even though it was not present when the car was dropped off. The tire pressure light was also on after they installed the new tire.

I made an appt and emailed with customer service because I had a few things that could make my appointment difficult. I was told I was all set. Saturday morning 7:30 am I get a phone call from a worker. He was beyond rude, seemed upset that I couldn't diagnose the problem myself, was short with me and then informed me he was going to charge me an extra 49.95 to do a diagnostic. Didn't ask if I could afford it, told me. I wrote an email to the woman explaining how uncomfortable I felt in general after this interaction, and she never responded. Pretty disgusted with this place. They had my car and I needed new tires so I because I couldn't wait any longer (my fault) I had to have them do them but I'll never return here. Had I had more leeway I would have told them to screw and got my car and went somewhere else

When the manager refused and dismissed helpful information neccesary for the technician to do an alignment. I knew the manager was either too arrogant or just incompetent at their job. After the conversation quickly became them backpeddling caught in lies about why the information isn't needed and they have 10 years experience and know morethan my 25 years experience. I immediately removed my vehicle and brought to another shop who was more than happy and appreciative for the neccesary information in order to do the quick and easy job property. Nothing makes me more mad than a manager abusing their position in an auto shop to manipulate their customers cause they think they don't know any better.

We came in after stopping at town fair tire with a flat tire with a screw. We were told it d be a few hours as they were full of appointments. We were pushed through within an hour and out with a new tire . Despite the heavy schedule they had once again we got last minute service with a smile and we were in our way . Thank you so much

Dave Rondeau, the manager of the Hyannis shop, was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. I was scheduled in a timely manner, the staff were professionals and pleasant. The waiting area was clean and DID NOT smell like a shop! The bill was less than I expected for the work performed and I would highly recommend them for anyone that needs tires. Thanks again Dave for all you did for me and my Tundra. I will see you again before I reach 6k miles or 6 months!Respectfully, Doris Menard

Yes, Cape & Islands Tire desk staff is friendlier than Sullivan, and their pricing is a little simpler. I think that's why their ratings are higher on Google, and it's where I'd send my parents. But Sullivan had a good promotion on a set of Geolanders I wanted for my Jeep. It's just tires, they know how to mount them. Rebekah in their chat/call center was pleasant and made an appointment, which the store honored even though we were running late. If you know what you are looking for, and if the final price including the per-tire fees etc. is lowest at Sullivan's, go for it.

Angry Hyannis employee - terrible customer service! I will, literally, take my vehicles anywhere BUT this Hyannis Sullivan Tire. The company should really be embarrassed by this employee s behavior and treatment of its clients. The man on the phone/front desk was extraordinarily rude. After dropping off a car 3 hours previously, I called to check on my daughter s vehicle as it was about 90 minutes before closing and I had not heard back. (Saturday of Labor Day weekend, shop closed Sun) My daughter s car had a low pressure warning on a rear tire and needed the it fixed to get to college after the weekend. Before I could finish asking when the car would be done so my daughter could drive off-Cape, the angry man interrupted me to say the car was being looked at and they d call me back. I attempted two more times to find out if the repair was going to be done before closing, but the rude man kept intentionally talking/shouting over me to tell me again and again The car is being looked at now. We ll call you when we know more. I started to say, I have a question about and he cut me off again, and snapped What s your question? I decided it was pointless to continue since he clearly could care less what my concerns were. Angry employee called me back about 15 minutes later to tell me they had put a new tire on but didn t have any more tires for the car so they could only do the one (rather than a pair for the rear or replace all, if worn, as I requested) and stated You better come over now if you want the car back. We close in 40 minutes. When I arrived 10 minutes later, the car was still on the lift without a tire on. Angry employee continued his ranting at another employee as he struggled to find my invoice and was rude to another female customer who had a question about using the credit card machine for payment. I wish I knew his name, but his phone answering was gruff and garbled so was impossible to understand and he did not wear a name tag.

Generally I like Sullivan Tire. The people there are nice and I usually can trust that they are taking care of my car. Had an issue at the last appointment that has resulted in multiple warning lights on my dashboard. They weren't on before I went to Sullivan and I don't think I can blame Sullivan specifically because it is an older car with a decent amount of rust. Just disappointing that I spent so much money on new tires and now have to take the car to another shop to get it fixed when there wasn't a problem before. Sullivan did attempt to fix it but they were unsuccessful and I didn't want to keep bringing it back to them. I was pretty frustrated and fed up considering how many times I had been there, including immediately after I bought the new tires and one was deflating constantly. I will obviously go back again because I paid for a warranty that gives me free tire rotations, and they generally do a good job. I honestly don't know whether or not I would recommend them since they have been great in the past but I did have a difficult experience most recently.Edit to update:Sullivan Tires called me in response to this post and offered to take another look at the issue. I brought the car in and they quoted something like $1200 to fix it (apparently there was a lot of rust). I said no thanks and ended up just driving the car with the warning lights on because of the huge expense to fix it. Well, in July the warning lights went off and apparently the problem resolved itself (maybe the rust fell off)!I went back to Sullivan recently and they stood by their tire warranty with a free tire rotation and they fixed a leak in one tire for free. I was late to my appointment but they were able to take my car anyway. The work was done quickly and Brett was friendly and professional. I am overall quite happy with Sullivan and would probably recommend them. Hopefully my tire problems are over for now!

I've been using Sullivan Tire in Hyannis to service and maintain my fleet of business trucks for the past 3 years. They have done everything from oil changes, tires, and brakes to transmission replacement, and everything in between. They take, diagnose, and repair my vehicles quickly, usually within 1-2 days, and do great work. This minimizes vehicle down time and keeps my trucks on the road. Dave and Brett are always courteous, professional and super responsive. I HIGHLY recommend the Sullivan Hyannis team for any/all of your vehicle maintenance and repair needs.Mike@SERVPRO

Great service at a fair price. When compared to competitors in the area sullivan stands out among the top. Had a service and oil change done recently on my '07 Lexus ES350. Very happy with how everything was handled, I'll be going back if I ever need anything else they offer.

Highly recommend! My friend popped a tire on a Friday night in Cape Cod, which was an odd-size and not readily available or stocked. I called Sullivan on Saturday morning and they were able to locate one in their system which they ordered right away. First thing Monday morning we drove to Hyannis and while they were completely booked and very busy, worked us in as soon as the tire arrived at their location. They were pleasant and empathetic to our situation.

I scheduled auto service appointment using the online tool around my busy work schedule & holiday planning schedule. I arrived at the business as scheduled. I was met at the counter by a rude clerk who refused to take my business because of a vague service policy. The business does not carry my vehicles specified oil requirement so I brought in my own oil, Pennzoil 5W20. My business was refused. The clerk rudely stated he would not help me, because they don't use "other people's parts." Very disappointed in the poor customer service experience. The clerk had a unbelievably absurd attitude, was unwilling to accomodate a reasonable request and asked "do you want the service or not." I would not recommend to friend. Do not bring your business to Sullivan's Tire and Auto Service for overall poor customer experience.

I only needed 1 tire but a tire technician convinced me to get 4 brand new tires for the winter and I'm glad I did it. I'm currently waiting for them to open so I can get 4 more new ones almost a year later. Great place I highly recommend Sullivan Tire.

Beyond impressed with this shop their customer service and quality of work. Extremely helpful and pleasant staff to deal with. Just brought my trackhawk in to have tires mounted on my new ag wheels. Job was done in one hour including alignment. I was amazed at the speed and care they took when mounting my wheels. They are extremely expensive custom wheels and i stressed that to them and I can assure you the technicians at Sullivan are top notch and take pride in their work and make sure everything is perfect. I have sat at town fair for 5 hours to have two tires mounted and they were still out of balance after three visits this is the best place on cape hands down. I would reccomend this shop to anyone for all your wheel and tire needs. Thanks Sullivan!

Ah... Sullivan's. I use them for all my repairs and have never had a complaint. And I don't expect to. They gave me warm safe transport to my home after I dropped off my car, and kept me advised as to the status. I couldn't be happier with Sullivan's!

First, I called looking for studded tires, one employee said "I'll call you back tomorrow". He did, I missed it, called them back, and the next employee I asked said yes that they have them. So I went there, waited an hour and a half for two tires, only to find out they never even put studded tires on! So I went back in, and asked, "hey, are these studded tires?" The guy said no. And that I "never asked for them". The only word that ever came out of my mouth describing the type of tires I wanted was "studded" nothing else. So then they try to have me wait for two days while they order the right tires, and pay $340 for TWO of them. Absolutely absurd. And they tried pushing up-sells on me.That was my first experience with Sullivan tire. And I promise that I will never return.

I would highly recommend this automotive repair shop to anyone. Beeing they're customer for 8 yearsThey always seem to be able to squeeze me in at a moments notice and they do great work at a very fair price. You know when you take your care to Sullivan Tires in Hyannis that they are not just going to tell you there are a bunch of things that need to be fixed just to make money. They give you an honest evaluation and they don't try to up sell you. If you need your car repaired and you don't want to be taken advantage of at the dealer, this is the place.

Went there to have a small leak in my tire and greeted with a grumpy and stressed out receptionist and was told I had to wait for an 8am appt that was before me so they said 815 or later and I got there at 730 am and signed up on line before hand. So I opted out and went to Mid cape tire and they took me right away and Inwas in by 8am and out by 845 and I payed 30 bucks . Go there 426 Yarmouth road Hyannis. Go there they eager for your business and not over crowded with overworked people.
