I had a hard time deciding how to rate this place. I know my mechanic thinks highly of them. However, my experience was this: I had to wait several days for an appointment to get one flat tire fixed. In off-season. One tire. Unbelievable. Next, I go to drop my car off, and you have to stand at the counter (no stools) and wait while the one clerk answers the phone calls. And, of course, I can't do that without subjecting myself to Level 10 pain for, at the least, a couple of days. So I left there in Level 10 pain. Next, it took them about two hours to fix a tire. One tire. When I had an appointment. I have gotten an entire set of tires in less time than that. Next, I guess I am old and old-fashioned, but the charge was $40. Double what I paid last time when I didn't have an appointment, but it still only took 20 minutes. Granted, that was off Cape. But still, not everyone who lives here is rich. Most of us are far from it. However, that is probably the going rate here. It's no wonder everyone from the middle class on down are being forced out. But then, that's how the upper class likes it.Update: I received a reply from the business, which blamed me for my experience. You can see it below. This person doesn't understand that blaming the victim just reduced their rating from a three to a one. This kind of mentality is abusive. I was going to continue to use this shop, but now I will not.

Went in for tire rotation came out found my cell phone holder. Disconnected from Dash also truck was rummage through by mechanic when confronted lied to my face told front desk manager they didn t care. Choose another tire shop to go to this place sucks

I wanted to give a shout out to the team at Mid Cape. I was really stuck after getting a irreparable flat tire while visiting the cape from NY and needed a tire replacement to get home. Joe and the team were able to prioritize getting me in where 3-4 other nearby shops simply said sorry we can try to get to you next week Not only were they great to work with, they were able to procure the last tire at a very fair price and get it all done in one day so I could get back to NY with minimal delays. Without Mid Cape, I d truly be stranded and would have been a very very costly and long trip to the cape. Thank you all at Mid Cape Tire!!

Made an appointment on my day off about a week out. Dropped truck at 8am came back at 4pm and was told they didn't have the time to look at it. It wasnt a repair job it was an inspection for a lift kit which would of been thousands of dollars. Didn't even have the respect to call me the next day and explain the situation, which would of been the right thing to do. Horrible service what else can I say. Will never go back and would never recommend. Take your hard earned money elsewhere.

Thought I had a bad wheel bearing. But my buddy Ed at mid cape tire said I only need some tires. Presto new tires and truck drives like new.thanks

Thank You Mid Cape Tire !!!!!!! I went to Midas in Hyannis and received a quote for brake work which I felt was high , so I went to Mid Cape Tire down the street and I didn t stay a word about price from other place, and they came up 500 cheaper and also 500 cheaper for a quote for future work ,so a total of 1000 in savings for the same work !!! I am so glad there is still honest people who respect that hard working people who live on Cape are not always rich.Thank you ,Christine Bosworth

Great experience! I needed to bring my car in right away Jason was SUPER he told me to come right over. Everyone was AMAZING! I usually hate taking my car in for service but this was such a great experience! I highly recommend!!

I highly recommend Mid Cape! With Covid right now times are very tough for alot of ppl, Me being one. I live pay check to pay check trying to make ends meet, And it has been impossible to find a Good, TRUSTWORTHY, Affordable Shop. My car is an 03 Lexus and maiby has a blue book value of $3,500, So not worth much. It was having serious issues everytime I would idle for too long. Smoking, smelling and running very rough. I went to 4 different shops and they all said it was the Catylitic convertor and it would cost anywhere from $2,000 to $3,000 to fix! Even though all the check engine codes were NOT for a Catylitic convertor problem! One shop even charged me $580 for welding the Cat saying that it would fix the problem and save me lots of money! Well, It didnt fix anything and it was getting worse and worse. So before giving up and junking my car I went to one last shop, Wich was Mid Cape! The Machanics did numerous tests for hours and was almost positive it was NOT the Catylitic convertor! They were super honest and told me They did not think it was the Cat at all but unfortunately they could not figure out what it was. They charged me nothing and referred me to a specialist. So I took there advice and went to where they referred me and Come to find out Mid Cape was right! It was nothing to do with my Cat at all and was an engine issue that only cost $50 to fix!!!!If it wasn't for Mid Cape being honest and referring me to a specialist I would have put thousands of dollars of work into my car that I never needed at all!If that is not a Good, Honest, Trustworthy shop, Then I don't know what is! Thank you so much Mid Cape for all your help and Honesty! You will be the only shop My family and I will go to and refer!

I don't know much about cars but when I found out I had a large nail in the sidewall of my tire, my boyfriend recommended Mid Cape. I called them on a Friday morning and they reserved a time for me that afternoon. They were very sensitive to the fact that I had a brand new car which already needed a new tire, and helped replace it right away. I trusted their expertise and haven't had an issue since so thank you Mid Cape!!!

This is my "go to" spot for all of my automotive needs. The mechanics are top shelf. They offer options without pushing for expensive repairs. They have repaired my vehicles at a much lower price than quotes that I received elsewhere. I have stopped looking anywhere but here. Why? They are honest. Fast. Fair. Extraordinarily talented. They treat me like they would treat family. It is a monumental difference from the myriad of other automotive experiences I have under my belt. I will never go elsewhere. Why on earth would I ?

As usual, my visit to Cape Tire & Auto was "the best" !! The building is clean, the safety measures are visible and the customers as well as the people working on our vehicles are excellent.. I have been a customer of Cape Tire for many years and have never had any complaints. I would, and have recommended Cape Tire to anyone who asks and will continue to recommend your company as well as your employees...Thanks ! Gail Benson

Called them October 22 at 745 Am and they got me right in to repair a small leak in my tire. They are very courteous and friendly and the charge was reasonable compared to their competitors . I would highly recommend! 5 star!

This is a small local business that we have trusted with almost all of our auto repair needs for the past fifteen years. We have a 2008 Elantra and a 1999 Cherokee, so we are always dealing with something, and Mid Cape Tire has always been there for us. They get us in quickly, which is important when many people are waiting weeks for appointments. They take care of the problem and we are always saying "I thought it would be a little more expensive."

I was up on the Cape a few weeks back (on vacation from Maryland). I began hearing a noise that could only be break brackets starting to scrape on the rotors. The folks at Mid-Cape were busy, but were able to get to my car that day. Turns out it was part of the wheel cover that had come loose. They could have replaced my breaks and I wouldn't have had a clue. They were honest, responsive and with a smile said no charge. You hear horror stories of vacations blowing up with major car issues. This group was professional. I wanted to use a local outfit over a national service center. Like to support the local economy. It turned out to be a very good choice.Oh, and I got their number from a small shop with only two techs. They couldn't help me that day. So Mid-Cape is also respected by their local competitors.Very impressive.

Great and fast service. Thanks to Joe and his team i was able to get back home with the family as they did my front end brakes and rotors in a last minute deal. I was travelling on vacation when all of sudden i hear and feel my front end brakes scrapping against the rotors i came into this shop who was recomended by another shop and they did the work in just under 2 hours. Than you guys

My hero s - after getting screwed by some local repair shop these guys got me in and up and running at a more than reasonable cost- they have my biz - highly recommend these guys - you ll be happy if you try them out !

We are vacationing and I got a gash in my tire. After going to a place that couldn't service us til Friday, Mid Cape took us right away and we are on the road again. Fast, friendly and totally recommended!

Solid, kept to there quote, that is 10x better than most places, inflated cost of items as expected but not glutinous, that's necessary to pay for the overhead, nice people, time will tell if the exhaust system replacement holds up but I think it will I have a good feeling.

ive always had good experience with this shop in the past & i always refer my friends to them yet i dropped my car off for an alignment recently then picked up the next day but found no spec sheet nor sign that the car was actually aligned only the reciept of my payment. i went back to request the spec sheet the next day but the tech said they didnt have a printer nor any record of my alignment. sadly it seems rather odd being they use a computer alignment system.

Always honest, always friendly. Staff is knowledgeable and personable. Most importantly, Cape Tire and Auto is very affordable. No gimmicks or price inflammation. Highly recommend!

They were very nice when I went in there today I had a huge nail in my tire waited about 20 minutes cost me 30 bucks to get it fixed very friendly Ieft satisfied!

Awesome mechanics and service desk people !!! Going on 14 yrs since my wife and I had moved to the cape , needed a mechanic then gotten a refural to them and they have been our mechanics ever since and will be there Monday morning for my regular oil change and once over on my vehicle

Great place had 2 new tires i had bought and needed them put on my vehicle sears and town fair wouldn't mount them cause i didn't buy them from them 2 other garages around the area wanted 70 one wanted 80 to put 2 tires on this place did it for 40 witch i thought was REALLY good price plus customer service was great from the lady behind the desk and the mechanics they got my work for now on that i cant due my self
