I've been to a lot of dealerships , service stations, and mechanics and without a doubt, this is the best place to bring your automobile if you want the work done correctly first time you bring it in.the team is very knowledgeable ,think outside the box and just know what they're doing, which is very rare in my experience.They're all very nice, listen to you, and offered to come pick me up to get my car back.When's the last time you ever went to a service station and they did that!Bottom line is, if you want the best , at a fair price with above and beyond customer service I highly recommend them 110%.Mike

This small, unassuming shop excels where it counts- they are honest, highly competent, and pleasant to work with.Cracker-jack mechanic, excellent customer service. I have brought them very tricky problems, and they were able to fix what others, including the local dealership, could not.One minor complaint- on a couple occassions I asked them to call me for approval if estimated price of repairs would exceed a given amount. They haven't been great about doing so, but this is relatively minor issue, all things considered.While I consider myself to generally be a very trusting, pleasant person to deal with, this is not the case when it comes to automotive repair & maintenance. I am certainly no mechanic, but I am a decently experienced DIY'er, and I tend to be fairly aggressive in questioning & challenging everything, due to repeated bad experiences over the years with dealerships, chains, and local mechanics. Any time I challenged the mechanics at Hudson Mobil, they provided me with clear reasoning and evidence supporting their assessment. So far, they have been right every time.Hudson Mobil has always been honest and very fair with me, and they have done excellent work both in terms of correctly identifying issues, and correctly performing repairs.They have my trust and my business for as long as they keep up their excellent habits.

Very good mechanical services.. these guys are Pros A very well professional management in place, and seeing the same employees for tens of years is quite an indication that the place is well managed.The mechanics there are very knowledgeable and experienced when it comes to pretty much everything on wheels ... I highly recommend them.

Got ripped off. Had an obvious vacuum leak, because there was a whistling noise coming from the engine and it was idling right - hence engine light. When I pulled up to the station, the guy behind the counter said it sounded like I needed new brakes. Problem was I had already had new brakes done elsewhere the week before. The guy calls me next day and says that my car showed an error code from the power steering high pressure (PSHP) sensor. I asked how much to fix and he said $270 for the part plus labor and the part was on backorder for ten days. I said I couldn't pay that much at the time, So he said they got rid of the whistling noise and that it was $75 for one hour of diagnostics.Well I went online to a part store and found the part for $35, and told him that. He said he looked everywhere. I paid him the $75 thinking that at least they got rid of the whistling noise. Oh I forgot to get a receipt! Next day the car was still not idling right. Then the engine light comes back on and within a week, there is whistling noise again! So off to AutoZone for PSHP switch. AutoZone guy overheard that I needed to maybe buy my own diagnostic tool to find out what error codes were thrown. Come to find out - autozone does it for free! They found 2 errors, 1st the PSHP error 2nd was (IAC) - idle air control error. Mobile station never told me that!!! So bottom line they wanted to overcharge me for a switch part, then missed the fact the IAC motor/valve needs to be cleaned or replaced, and never fixed the vacuum leak that was causing the whistling noise. $75 for diagnostics, REALLY??? What a rip off!!!!
