John has been repairing and winterizing my boat for a few years and I ve been very happy, but my recent problem shows what a great guy he is. I blew out my tire on rt62 towing the boat to drop it off for winterization. John left the shop, came to diagnose me with actually a broken axel and wheel bearing, brought parts back to the shop, worked his magic, came back and jerry rigged me safe enough to get me to the shop. I very much appreciate the rescue

Can't recommend. Charged me for an oil change and filter in May 2023. When I checked the oil was dirty (was not changed) and it was the same oil filter somebody wiped off to make it look clean.Services: Engine repair, Oil changeServices: Engine repair, Oil change

John has a wealth of knowledge and has been in business for close to 50 years. He took care of my issue right away regarding my outboard. I will definitely go back to him for all of my repair needs.

I ve had my Bayliner for a few years now and only bring it to John. Would recommend J&B s to anyone with a boat in the area. My boat has a mercruiser I/O and they know their way around it with their eyes closed. Reasonable prices as well.

Only place a bring my boats. John and his crew have worked on everything for me from my duck hunting jon boat to my palm beach center console! Old school shop with the get things done and done right mentality. Highly recommend

Charged me over $300 and claimed to fix the issue of a 2 cycle 3 cylinder running ragged. Said he rebuilt the carburetor and checked the compression of the cylinders and everything was ok. Next time I went out the motor over-revved as soon as I tried to get on plane and it stalled, I had to use my trolling motor to get back to the dock. My regular mechanic said the compression in one cylinder was gone. Whatever work was done clearly did not address the root cause of the issue. Now I need to rebuild the motor for $4000+, thanks J&B.

No one knows boats like John. He can fix anything, at a good price, and throw in a couple good stories to boot.
