You will not find a better shop! Highest caliber work...they are timely, knowledgeable, thorough, honest, diligent, and hard working. I moved to Hopkinton in 1993 and Lumber St. Auto has been my "go-to" place for any and all of my automotive maintenance needs. I've recommended them to other folks who've moved to town and I have gotten nothing but positive feedback from everyone. I highly recommend these talented and responsible mechanics!

Always have a great experience here. The mechanics take their time to discuss their recommendations, and never try to push unnecessary work. Work is always good and honest. I always go back and always recommended this garage when asked by friends or on Facebook.

I'm fairly new to the area and was concerned about finding a reliable place for car maintenance. I was surprised to find so many positive reviews for Lumber Street Auto Repair. I decided to give them a try and was not disappointed. I've now been there a few times and find them To consistently provide efficient, friendly, and quality service that is fairly priced and done right the first time. I highly recommend Lumber Street Auto Repair.

Hit a pothole and blew out a tire last night. They were nice enough to squeeze me in for the tire replacement and an oil change. Again, prompt, courteous service in which I did not have to wait very long.

Phil and team had to spend hours to diagnose the issue only to discover a new part from BMW was defective. He got a new part under warranty but didn't change me for all the time and effort needed to identify root cause, which would have been hundreds. Really great service on this one guys. Thanks.

This place is wonderful. If I need a repair they fixed it. The service advisors a great people. The mechanics are very helpful. And do their best to take care of your vehicle. And they are more reasonable price wise. Then any of the others around town.

I came in for an oil change and Scott found other urgent concerns. He made every effort to get the work completed so I didn't have to change all of my plans. Amazing service and so easy to work with. I would recommend this business to everyone! So grateful!

The people at this place have always been very polite and cheerful! Even more important, they are fair and honest.I recently took my Lexus RX 350 there because I thought it was less responsive and had a little shake. Even though there were no indicator lights showing a problem they really took the time to try to figure it out. In the end, they did a full maintenance work up, replacing filters and fluids and my car now drives like new! It's nice and peppy. I'm very happy!

I trust LSAR is the highest compliment I can give to an auto repair place. My car maintenance and issues are handled at a fair price. Their customer service is excellent too. The intake is fast and efficient, they call to discuss what's wrong and the options for repair. Its close to my house which is convenient. I won't go anywhere else for my car's needs. I only wish they did car detailing too.

Great job. It'd be cool if things were cheaper, but my car was a mess and it was all taken care of wonderfully. Price isn't anyone's fault, we ALL have to make a living. I mean, we all want things to be cheaper. Anyway, still good service, friendly, and got it done quick.

I feel comfortable going to this place for auto services. They charge reasonable prices for good quantity work. If the price is your primary concern, you may want to check (or check elsewhere) before you make up your mind and use their service. I would say for good quality work, their price is reasonable.I also took their recommendation once to purchase a set of tires directly from them. Good deal considering both the quality of tires and price.

We came in for routine maintenance and the mechanics left grimy black dust and dirt all over our dashboard. Service seemed fine but I wish they would at least clean up after themselves.

Friendly and helpful front desk staff! The mechanic that worked on my car called me directly to go over the problem and what they had done to solve it. Will definitely be coming back for any future problems.

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE 0! Overprice and didn't fix the problem. I bring my car because driver rear tire was loosing pressure every day (4-29-22). They checked the tire, and said, we didn't find nothing. Charged $60 for nothing. Them I went home and use the oldest leak method that exist on Earth (water and soap). And guess what? the leak was there, pretty obvious, and they said, we didn't find nothing? Don't know what kind of tech they have but for sure I don't recommend them.

Someone shared the information on this place of business, and I stopped in yesterday, and was pleasantly surprised when on the spot I was told they were going to fix the problem right there and then. They were so courteous, pleasant, and even drove my car up to the door when they completed the work. The place was booming with business and I was only made to wait 45 minutes. I will be returning for sure.

Phillip Harper is very knowledgeable and provided options for a complicated repair. I appreciated the time spent. Lauren was always responsive and helpful. The technician who did the work, Joe was also very capable.

I can believe you just charged my son, a firefighter and veteran 475 for a belt change. He pulled in to you as you happened to be right there when the belt broke. You saw him with his little boy and took advantage. He was clueless so you added in a tensioner. It doesn t take 4 hours to fix a tensioner. We ask the firehouse mechanic and yea we got screwed. Shame. I read some reviews and the lowest ones said your pricey. They weren t kidding. At least he can make it towel but won t eat for a month. .

After relocating to the area and was looking for a RELIABLE and TRUSTWORTHY auto shop for my vehicles. This place was recommended by word of mouth and the online reviews seemed to have backed it up.My classic hand-me-down car needed much more work than I expected and I found Phil to be very reasonable, understanding, and I appreciate his and his team's hard work put into the car. There was a small hiccup in communication that could have been made anywhere, but it takes an honest business to admit fault and make amends. Although I can be a difficult customer, they have earned my trust, continued business, and recommendation.Update! After the better part of a decade I am still going to Lumber Street Auto where they listen to their customers to establish long lasting partnerships. It is refreshing to be able to trust a mechanic fully where I am a paranoid person from being burnt so many times in the past.Thank you, again, Lumber Street Auto Repair Team
