The staff was very helpful from the moment of making the appointment until I got my car back. The place is very nice and clean. I felt it was a VIP service seeing the place and the customer service experience. Great service from Brianna, I felt the communication was great. The best part was when Megan offered me a car as a loan while my car was being repaired because she saw me with my baby's car seat. When they told me that, I felt so thankful. I definitely want to go back and want to have more Hyundai cars. In the picture is the car they gave me as a loan. New car 2024. We loved it.

I was so anxious an stressed bout car shopping but from the first email i felt valued, heard and appreciated. I have some anxiety issues an had a request for a female aales person to assist me just so i didnt have any issues. Gary Rome is the only dealership i had spoken with that easily awknowledged my request like no biggie an helped. Also i struggle with mobility issues an my sales rep Nikki made sure i was comfortable and had help when needed backed off when i didnt.Being a big texter I appreciated the ability to text a bit before my test drive. It saved us time i feel. She sent me a link of the options on the lot of what i was looking for. Was not pushy at all just helpful. Showed me what i requested then backed off while i decided. This earned my respect an made me want to hear about the add ons for a protectant stuff for my interior and extetior as well as a wheel an tire coverage package. I normally dont even listen to that stuff but im glad our repore building opened me up to listening cuz im very happy to have both added on.The online information about each vehicle was really comprehensive and i was eaily able to narrow my choices down from 6 to 2 before my test drive. I loved being able to see the car fax info too. was impressed how much Nikki knew about my 2021 santa fe without needing to look at a manual LOL i did not know cars didnt have REAL keys anymore or an actual gear shift LOLNikki got me going beforehsnd with a preapproval for financing. Again with a link via text. Then on site ( which is gorgepus by the way!! Wow!!) the financing application process an approval was easy peasy. I came armed to the teeth with documents thinking my credit was too low with a 608 transunion score but with my cash down and a higher score of 643 than i realized matched with just the right timing to find my perfect ride sitting out there waiting for me they were able to find an excellent lender in their web of financial angels to help!I wish i knew id be rolling out with my new SUV 5 hours later cuz id have attempted to clean out my old car prior LOL i still feel guilty lolas i was leaving i even spied those 2 cute doggies from the commercials! LOL i purchssed another vehicle here 12 years ago at the old location and it was just the same. Smooth sailing. Nice people. And yeah they obviously are here to sell you something but i just felt like i had regular good people helping me out not hungry to prey on me. A+++ start to finish!! Cant wait to get my free car washes!!! And loooovvvveee my pink licence plate holder lolol thanks for the smooth ride Gary Rome Hyundai!!!

Hi a very reputable place to go to that's willing to help you with purchasing or leasing a vehicle. Great friendly staff. That meets and greets you with a smile. Our experience was very pleasant. I know yours will be too. Its a Blessing to walk into a dealership like this one and feel right at home. Gary Rome Hyundai is an excellent choice and Gary Rome is a excellent guy. His dogs are great too.

Disappointed. Purchased a new Santa Cruz in Dec. 2022. Very happy with the car. Brought it back for my free service after six months. Expected to wait a half hour or so. Was told there was a recall on my trailer hitch wiring which works fine. Was told I would have to leave it for the day. I returned at the end of the day to be told the parts are not available. So why did you keep it all day when you could not do anything about it. So I Got a card in the mail to make an appointment for the recall. Made a 10:00am appointment thinking a wire harness swap should be 30 minutes or so. Two hours later I go to check out and I'm told my wiring harness is bad and needs replacing. They tell me they have to order the part. Seriously this is a fleet wide recall and you're not stocking the part. Now I'm supposed to waste a third day to get this resolved. This is very poor communication between the service department and customer. Also noticed while I was in the waiting room several people complaining about being the two hours plus for an oil change. Spending my life in customer service I can tell you in today's world nothing upsets people more then wasting their time. They either need to hire more staff or schedule less appointments. No one should wait more then 30 minutes for a oil change with a scheduled time slot. Someone needs to get this place working like a well oil machine. Last thought. When inspecting the car at take in for dents scratches etc. They should look at Inspection and registration stickers as a service. Mine expired three months . My fault but would be nice if the let me know.

I have purchased 3 vehicles and recommended Gary Rome Hyundai to several family members who have also purchased vehicles there. The employees are courteous and professional. The vehicles are well made and comfortable and there are many features to choose from which meet my everyday needs. I would buy another vehicle from them in a heartbeat. I highly recommend the brand and the dealership.

In the beginning it was a typical car dealer experience. Then Gary got involved and made the deal when we probably would have left without anything. Gary was great, and his dogs Winn and Daisy were sweet!

My vehicle stalled and was diagnosed with no oil and unable to start from external dealership. Advised to bring vehicle to last serviced oil change. Towed vehicle to Gary and was told vehicle would get looked at but sounds like it needs and engine. After explaining that I was a student holding two full time jobs, I requested a loaner vehicle to off set rental changes. 3 weeks later still getting runaround from advisor reached out to the service manager and was informed my vehicle wasn't checked yet and no loaner but will be checked within the week. A day later was informed engine was installed and test driven and ready to pick up after 5,200$ charge. Following day left work to pick up vehicle and staff was unable to find my keys. Once drove vehicle off lot instantly motor overheated and light all over dash. Returned vehicle and was told everything was operational until I personally had to test drive with staff. Upon not knowing issue was told a loaner was now available until service was completed. Refused to leave without vehicle operational after paying 5,200 plus over 2,000 rental plus tows. Cost me one of my jobs and high disregard to any of my obligations, unprofessional service management and dishonesty, disorganized staff. The management even directly demanded my respect for him not doing his job or even treating me as a costumer.

Staright forward and easy to deal with Paul when testing cars and getting qoutes and information. Took care to make sure he was there when i needed to come back to finalize everything as well. No complaints at all.

My first experience back about three years ago with Gary Rome Hyundai was great, but a recent dishonest interaction via email has left me feeling that I should share my experience with others to help them avoid such sketchy business practices.An employee reached out to me via email on March 20th, saying in the second paragraph of the email: "Being able to acquire vehicles that we have either sold, serviced or both that we can add to our Pre-Owned inventory is the best possible scenario. In a search of our customer records I identified your car as a perfect match for us. As compensation to you, if we could upgrade you to a newer 2024, Sonata Hybrid Limited keeping your payments about the same, would you consider letting us re-purchase your car?"I am writing this review since this is NOT what was offered and not even close. I wasted so much time through so many emails trying to see if this was an option and even trying to negotiate a better offer. When I got the quote it appeared my assumption was right that I would not have to put any money down (talking with the employee confirmed this later on), but the monthly payment was $565 for the lower end SEL model...not even the Limited as quoted in the email.I had a great first interaction with John, so I can't give 1 star, back when I moved back to New England and he really helped me out with what I believe was a great deal in a time when chip shortages and limited inventory made things really tough, but he is no longer working at Gary Rome (I obviously saved his number and reached out recently). These days I am not sure where the transparency and honesty has gone. It seems like the tired tropes about caresales people may be true at Gary Rome now too which really breaks my heart. I ended up having to get on the phone to get my questions and requests dealt with as my clear lists and requests were met with brief emails back that did not directly address my questions or requests. I have not heard back since that conversation and it was confirmed that the email was to get a conversation started. No I don't have proof of that conversation, but it was illuminating as well.

Pauli Bonavita was my salesman. Pauli was personable and made the entire process quick and easy. He answered any questions about my new and old car right away. When it came time to do the financing for my car, Chris Fenton, was knowledgable and honest and answered any questions I had relating to payments and warranties. Great service all around!

Couldn't have been happier ! All associates were extremely polite and helpful. I've bought and sold cars for 50 years, and this is hands down, the best experience ever! I can see why Gary Rome/Dealership was selected as Time magazine dealer of the year in all 50 states! Fantastic!

My car had an apt that was booked 3 months in advance for recalls, they fixed it in a timely Mainer once I was there. They did do a recall they originally advised against but the service manager was impeccable with correcting the issue . I ve had a TERRIBLE experience with my hometown Enfield location so I personally make the drive to holyoke to get such great service there. Everyone was so friendly from the moment I walked in the door. I highly recommend them

Fantastic experience from start to finish getting a new Kona EV. Gary and his team are true professionals--efficient, knowledgeable and not pushy in the least. I had done my homework, and left with the exact deal that I'd calculated.The process was seamless.Highly recommend.

See updates below. There was no response from the dealership so far. 1/19/241. Misleading sales.2. Service department; Our first visit was to simply rotate the tires, which took 3 hours to rotate the tires and run a simple firmware update. The reason it took so long for this service appointment, they lost the paperwork and had to wait for the person who checked the car in to come back. Did they inform the individual sitting and waiting? No, even though that person did check in at the desk to inquire. Did they apologize? No. Did they provide any information on the supposed inspections they did? No.I would strongly recommend going elsewhere.If you notice, the same canned response is provided to a negative review. However, there is no further response or follow up. Food for thought.

In April of 2023 my wife and I bought 2 new vehicles, in the fall of 2023 our daughter bought a new vehicle from Gary Rome Hyundai and wanted to share our experience. Started by calling the dealership and making an appointment with a sales rep, we met with Phil and he showed us the vehicles we were interested in, we decided to lease.The process,Sales rep Phil was great,Accommodating, knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile for us. Some people in the show room were also nice, offering water, popcorn saying hi and smiling.Finance,Everything was about as normal as it can be with singing paper work, things to note: they want to sale things that may or may not add value, we didn't want any extras including the vin etching but for some reason that was forced in to the contract and we were told the owner requires it on all vehicles.???Service,The first oil changes were scheduled for the fall of 2023 by Phil. Service day, stand there with no acknowledgment of presence, limited knowledge of N vehicle like oil intervals, they couldn't look in to concerns described and wanted to make a new appointment because of different tech to diagnose.Overall,In my opinion, ask for Phil, know what you want, ask questions, be ready to wait for service.

Thank you for transparent pricing (no hidden or egregious extra fees), clear and timely communication from beginning to end and outstanding customer service. It was a pleasure to meet Gary Rome (owner) and his adorable dog during our initial visit. Showroom is virtually spotless! Would definitely buy from again.

Gary Rome Hyundai is hands down the best in the area. Yes , I did visit other dealers before and for the past 6+ years this has become our home. Gary himself makes you feel like you deserve the quality they stand for. Maria Lepage went from sales consultant to family. She s is the highlight in the entire process . We decided against purchasing through Gary Rome. They had unnecessary added charges when presenting us with a purchase price including a government fee, accessories fee and one of the highest process and doc. Fees I have ever seen. Very nice people and a nice dealership but un willing to negotiate purchase price. We purchased a 2024 Palisade Calligraphy Night Edition at McGovern Hyundai in Milford, MA which is the highest trim level Palisade you can buy.

These people doesn t care about your time. If your car needs service and you need the shuttle, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. They will service your car at the end of the day (even if you drop it at 9:30am) and then will say that shuttle driver has left for the day. Meaning that you will have to figure out what to do to get your car back. They will offer a meaningless apology and do nothing about it.First time getting serviced here and it was a nightmare. They don't care about customers and their way to do business sucks! Never got a follow up or anything a word from someone there, and really don t need it.Again, go somewhere else. Don t do business with these people.

The sales people are great but try to setup a scheduled service day or get a warranty problem scheduled is like pulling teeth. You have to always leave a message and prey they call you back or if they say they ll call you back well don t hold your breath. IReally will think hard before going back to purchase another car only because of the service Department.

Very Professional. Wash does a nice job. You can't expect to have any automatic car wash to clean seams and all the little nooks and crannies. But with a quick towel rub in these areas makes the vehicle come out better than most automatic washes.

I just brought my car in for service. It has twelve thousand five hundred miles on it. The service was to be oil change, Tire rotation and something called a fuel injector service. Although they told me it would be four hundred dollars plus, I was stunned when I checked out to find out It was Over $550. I feel that the fuel injector service was unnecessary and also the brake inspection as I only have twelve thousand miles on this car. I am also a senior citizen living on a fixed income and cannot afford this type of service although I think their service department does a good job.And their employees are professional And courteous. I have tried to contact mister rome several times and have not received call back.

I would definitely recommend Gary Rome. I have been going there for service on my vehicles since 2012. They're honest, very helpful and all of the employees seem happy, which says a lot! I haven't had one single bad experience with them since I have been going there, and I'm on my second Hyundai now.

I bought a Hyundai Sonata from a Honda dealer. It gave off soccer Mom vibes and I didn't like the color of the car or the cream cored interior. I called Gary Rome and talked to Chris, the finance manager to see what he could do to help me trade my car in, and get me into a new vehicle. Chris the finance manager and Mike the sales guy, were wonderful. They really listened to EVERYTHING I wanted in a vehicle. The first car they pulled out for me to look at was a black 2024 Hyundai Elantra SEL. What a beautiful super smart car! I was blown away! Chris did his magic and I was able to purchase the vehicle even with rolling over some negative equity. They made sure that this vehicle had every warranty possible and I also got three year free maintenance. I couldn't be more impressed with this car or the kindness and patience shown to me by Mike and Chris. I highly recommend Gary Rome Hyundai. They are a dealership that actually cares about their customers and take the times too listen to what you want in a vehicle. I have never owned such a nice car. Thank you Chris and Mike for doing such a wonderful job!! Gary Rome has my business for life!

I went in recently to buy a part, a rim cap. It was 40$. You would think the salesperson (a younger man) would offer to put it on for me right? Of course he didn t. I had to ask several people for help before someone would put it on for me. This place is a bit chaotic and they seem confused a lot of the time. If I didn t have a lease with them I wouldn t continue to come here, I usually leave frustrated from the lack of communication, and coming here for car services is overall stressful. They are rarely on time, with no regard for the fact that people have to work or have lives. A scheduled appointment should be booked properly and completed in a timely manner.The good feedback I have is that one of the technicians, Carlos was really nice and the only one who offered to help me when I first arrived. Thank you!

The worst service department I ve ever had to deal with. Your car can have a safety reject sticker and they will tell you to come in a month to fix it. Meanwhile, they tell you not to drive your car. How in the world is this acceptable. This is many of different occasions going there.
