Recently had a basic oil change here. I know embarrassingly little about cars so I'm never sure who to trust but was way overdue for a change and figured I needed to just go get it done. I was overall very satisfied with the service at this location.They took my car right in and got right to work. The main guy who talked to me was really friendly and the other employees worked like a pit crew checking my tires, cabin filter, etc. The guy explained everything so I could understand it all and wasn't condescending at all for my lack of knowledge. I was even more reassured when some of them checked with one guy who seemed to just know everything. He sounded like a dictionary on every single thing and it made me feel even more comfortable that the work was being done correctly.I know they have to try to upsell customers on other things but I wasn't pressured at all when I said I just wanted the oil change. They were very up front about showing me the condition of my filters and saying they still looked fine instead of trying to get me to buy new ones that I didn't need, which is very appreciated.I loved the quick and friendly service, no pressure sales environment and honest, transparent communication. I've had an oil change here a few years ago and recall having the same experience. From both of my experiences here I can definitely recommend them and will be going back in the future.

Quick service. Opened 3rd bay so I wouldn't have to wait. Carlos replaced my cabin air filter that apparently in Nissans takes an acrobat to replace. Carlos had to contort himself to put the new filter back into place & all with a gracious attitude.

Wish I could give this location zero stars. Place is absolute garbage. Called to confirm they could still give me an oil change if I showed up at 6:50 before I drove 25 minutes there. The manager said as long as I get there before 7:00 they can service me no problem. I showed up at 6:50 and all the employees are just hanging out inside and wouldn t even look at me. I called the number online and was told the location closed early. Will never go back to this location.

When I got 100 feet down the road my car was making a loud noise coming from the engine; it was not doing that before I arrived. I returned to Valvoline within 3 minutes of leaving. I explained what was wrong and they opened the hood, did a quick look and said everything looks fine and "We did everything right regarding your oil change." I reminded them it was not doing that before! They replied "take it to a garage and let us know what they say." I refused to spend half my day at the garage and get charged for a diagnosis and possible repair. I asked them to go for a test drive with me. One rep went for a ride and he opened my hood and saw that when they took the air filter out they managed to disconnect the air filter box to the engine itself causing a sort of engine vacuum issue. It was easily repaired once he noticed. I was made to feel like a liar, like I was responsible and I had 3pm dinner and a movie tickets that I ended up missing because of this delay. I'm very unhappy and expect a full refund. Not once did a manager get involved! Very poor customer service. This is the second time damage was done to my car and they expected me to go fix it at a garage at my expense!

For the second time they did not properly reattach the panel after my oil change! The first time it just banged on the bottom as I drove it back. This time it completely fell! I had to waste a day waiting on AAA and missing work to get this fixed! I will never give this company my business again!Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

Getting my Lancer ready for the holidays so I stopped at Valvoline s for a Synthetic oil service. Ian greeted me as my service advisor and was both very personable & professional. He helped me use a coupon off the website from my phone and also recommended we change a dirty air filter. They also aired up all 4 tires so the TPMS light went off, All from the comfort of my car in less than 30 minutes!

I came here because my oil change light came on after only 2 months of getting my synthetic oil changed at the dealer, and 2k miles short of when I am suppose to get it changed again. Ian, from Valvoline explained that the they might not have reset the oil change indicator. He checked my oil and told me that I didn t need an oil change at this time and to come back when I am suppose to, according to the sticker. I was floored. Floored enough to take the time to write this review. I will be going to Valvoline when it is time to change my oil again. And every time after that. Thank you Ian, you are truly a professional.

My wife had our mini van serviced today for an oil changed. She was asked if 38 psi was ok for the tires since it is winter she said that was fine. They never put air in the tires. She knew this because she had a low warning for a back rear tire and that lists all the pressure. That never changed. Almost every time you add air the gauges record the increase right away. She asked the attendant did you add air because my system does no indicate you did. He reassured that they did and that it takes a couple of miles to record the new pressure. My wife took him at his word. Well there was no change in any tire after all of her errands. Well that was no true obviously. You didn't have the secondary check on this one by the attendant versus the person who filled the tire. For $90.00 you should be able to complete your prescribed service that you charged us for. He didn't verify the job was done he just lied to my wife. We will not be back to your business - you took advantage of my wife.

I went in today for what I thought was going to be a standard oil change. When the existing oil filter that was in my car started disintegrating and pieces were almost impossible to remove I knew I was in for trouble. The team really stepped up, put their heads together and used some out of the box thinking to remove the pieces safely. The kept me informed of what was happening and stayed cool and professional the entire time. It took almost an hour to remove the offending piece (to be clear, this was the old filter, Not one they had installed) and they did it with grace under pressure. Highly recommend this place and the full team at the Haverhill Valvoline. Nice work!

Been coming here for years. Moved further away but still make the journey. Solid spot where they take good care of your vehicle. Polite and attentive. Alot of faces change there but the consistency with getting things done right hasn't. As long as they don't screw up my truck I'll keep coming.

Literally the best place we've ever been to. Amazing customer service! Everyone was so kind. They do not pressure you into buying/adding things, no hidden fee's. They were so quick and efficient . The employees were great, made me feel comfortable. The time flew by. They changed my air filter as well. There's just one thing that sort of baffled me. When I left my rear passenger tire started to become flat. I mean with in 2 hours it was nearly touching the rim. I hate saying that because other than that I loved their service at this location!

Great service, but just be sure to pay attention to when they are talking with you, they try to upsell you on things. I have no problem with that, they are just doing their jobs, but just be aware.

I have visited this location many times before and have always been satisfied with the work performed. The price is fairly reasonable for the work performed and have always left this location satisfied that the work has been completed to the specifications promised. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and always professional. I highly recommend anyone to use this location for their oil change or other fluid and filter needs or any other services they may need for their vehicle. 5 star rating.

Unfortunately I have to replace my previous glowing review with a bad one. Went in today for an oil change just like I have many other times with this same vehicle. As I sat in my car I could feel lots of movement below and the car shaking from whatever was being done. Whatever they were doing was taking a long time. I then heard a loud snap. A different employee that I assume was down below showed up at my window with a broken piece of black plastic. He told me that the plastic splash guard that covers the bottom of the engine was cracked (as in already damaged when I brought the car in), and they had trouble getting it off. His explanation did not make much sense, because if the piece he showed me was already broken it would have been easier to get the splash guard off, and they would have been able to leave the broken piece attached to the car. As soon as this happened, the attentive SA who was at the computer next to me walked away and didn't come back until it was time for me to pay. In fact, it seemed like all of the employees were avoiding speaking to me or even making eye-contact with me. Once I got home I inspected the broken piece further, and noticed the eyelet where the bolt goes through was broken as well which means they were more than likely trying to pull it off with the bolt still attached. The store has offered to order a new piece and replace so I'll come back to update the review if/when that is done.

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. They are pricey for sure, but I was in and out in literally 15 minutes. The staff was super friendly and explained the entire process to me as it was happening which was appreciated as well. Great if you ran a little too low on getting the oil changed and need an instant fix.

The guys that work there are goods guys. They do the job well as quick as possible. Very professional, polite, never had any bad experience. I went there today to have one of my front light bulb replaced, but they weren't going to charge me for the service since I already bought the replacement bulb elsewhere. So I just gave the guy $5 for the quick service.

Can t even handle an oil change they snapped two bolts on a 2019 suv. Claimed rust yet I heard them fumbling under my car saying the stripped it and obviously had to snap them to get them off Customer survive is a zero they just had the franchise call me and say it was not there fault. Valvoline can t even do an oil change. Shame on me for not going to a real auto repair place.Service: Oil change

I prefer going here over iffy lube. The mechanics are very professional. You can listen to them communicate what they're currently doing to your vehicle. They show you the oil level on the dip stick so you know they filled your engine properly. And you never have to get out of your car. The last time I was there, there were four people ahead of me in line. It took them about a half hour to get to changing my oil and I was able to enjoy my cars air conditioning and listen to the radio until it was my turn. I'll be using the Haverhill Valvoline for my future oil changes.

They were super helpful with my car (let me know about a severe oil leak that the person who repairs my car downplayed) and told me all the things to check. I m pretty used to people trying to sell me a bunch of stuff making up car issues but they didn t charge me for coming in or try to sell me anything; just really helpful. Once my car is fixed I ll be returning for sure.

I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone. They are overly expensive for an oil change. I don't expect my car service to be treated like a McDonald's drive through, but I had a coupon and figured I would try it. My mistake. After a week or so, I started noticing small puddles of oil under my car. I didn't think much of it, but I should have. I brought my car in today for an oil change at a dealership instead and they found that my plug had been completely stripped and there was a large hole in my oil pan where the plug was just barely sitting in. How it lasted this long is anyone's guess. Now I have to spend money to have the oil pan replaced because I made the mistake of using a drive-thru oil change service from this place. Car owners beware, service on your car shouldn't be this "quick and easy".UPDATE 11/15/18:Although I will still not be returning to have my oil changed by Valvoline, I must commend them for their timely response and ability to correct this issue. Not only did they reply below and provide me with the information I needed to submit a claim, I received a call within a few days and they were happy to help me. The customer support was kind and quick and I think this may have been the first time I've dealt with a repair issue where I didn't receive a push back or given the run around. I can't thank them enough for fixing this problem.

Had an issue about a discount coupon. The employees were very helpful straightening out the problem. This was my first visit with my 94 BMW etype and had not had oil changed before. They were all very courteous and knowledgeable and explained everything they had to do and why. I would rate my visit to this Valvoline as very good.
