Dear Future Customers of Runtal.Runtal North America is an outstanding company who offers a superior Radiator and stands by their products. I recently purchased a Runtal Electric Radiator from Riverbend Inc. unfortunately it was defective which was a disappointment. I spoke with their amazing team at RNA including a Customer service associate and Technical Rep regarding my issues with the unit and they provided an immediate solution. I would like to thank Runtal's Operations Manager and the VP of Sales, who followed up with me and who assured me my Runtal Electric Radiator was shipped promptly as promised. I am grateful for their assistance and solving my problem. Their products are top of the line and there is a price for that. I highly recommend Runtal North America for their commitment to their customers and a beautiful looking Runtal Electric Radiator.Happy Shopping.Gerry from NJ

We have Runtal towel dryer/radiator. It is awesome. The bathroom is always nice and warm in the morning and our towels are always dry, even with multiple showers a day. The unit did stop working recently. I reached out to Runtal and they responded right away and replaced it under warranty without question. The new one is here, an exact match for the original unit and we are back to nice warm towels. I appreciated the great customer service!

Unfortunately absolutely horrible customer service in my opinion. I purchased a 2'x2' wall radiator directly from Runtal thinking it would be best and I'd have the best experience straight from the company. The day the unit arrived, I Googled for a diagram of fitting sizes as my package did not contain any literature. 2 separate 3rd party distributors had the same unit on sale for $330 less than I paid. I called Runtal and they would not work with the price I had paid. They were happy to have me either return the unit I got from them (eating shipping costs both directions) or drive it to their factory to drop it off - either option would net them a 20% restocking fee. Will not buy direct again.

I came across these baseboards which are iron cast-based electric Heating / Runtal and at least 3 to 4 times more expensive than the regular oil based hydronic electric baseboards. I was impressed by how heavy they are. Although these are better looking, they appear to be less efficient as my electric bill doubled since install. they are also noisy and apparently the iron make crack noises as it expands. This is one of the rare times that more expensive item did not provide a better quality Save your money.

For anyone who read my previous rating. It was as I had expected. One person causing trouble in a great company that is fair, responsible and attentive. Wanda needs to learn to be more professional from those that have been there longer.I received an email from Jon Wiberg the person who originally sold us our radiators. He has worked at Runtal long enough to know Steve s Father who died almost 20 years ago.The first thing he said was that he was prepared to send out a check. All he needed was the invoice that showed the $225 for the plumbing company coming out a second time. Of course this is for their records.We email the invoice and he assured us. The check was in the mail . I have no doubt that it is!I ve always been able to trust what they ve said.I thank Runtal for all the service over the years. I thank them for finally putting an end to this crazy situation. They will Always be my go to place for Radiators.Thank youKathy and Steve Brassard

Excellent customer service. They handled an issue I had with my steam radiator superbly. Their products are well made and their support is outstanding. A pleasure to deal with.

Their radiators are beautiful and solid. The Sales department is very helpful on the phone. However their website is poorly organized. The radiator model numbers are not explained well on the site.and challenging it understand the differences between UX, VX, VLX etc.UF (Universal Fit) in stock series hydronic radiators in set sizes (height and length) based on standard pressure (no more than 56 PSI) and pre-drilled for up to 8 different piping configurations.VLX model Custom made units that ranges from 1 to 10 panels high and 20 up to 29 6 in a single run. VX custom made no fin radiator. Baseboard radiators low on the wall. 1 to 4 panels high (nom. 3 to 12 H) Wall Panel radiators runs up the wall. 5 to 10 panels high (nom. 15 to 30 H)UHX vertical radiators that are in stockHX custom made vertical radiatorSome sizes that one would assume are in stock are sometimes listed on retailer sites as Backordered. These are custom items that take 8 weeks to order. This is a a long time. I assume people avoid 'backordered' as typically they don't want to wait that long. Separately, I recommend not ordering from Runtal direct. Their prices are higher and some retailers will ship for free and not charge $80-$150 for shipping.I did buy a horizontal baseboard unit that was in stock and still debating on whether to wait the 8 weeks for a "backordered" vertical one that is a custom unit. I will update this review soon to reflect my installation experience with the radiator. However it looks beautiful and even came with some touch up paint!

I have seen from both sides of the fence from being employed there for almost fifteen years. Family, customer and employee orientated. They bring back the true meaning of " let's get'er done", with a sincere smile. Dealing with Runtal North America is an experience not to be overlooked. Original swiss designed radiators that are beautiful. Have updated and expanded our 1955 home including hydronic replacements and electrical radiators in the addition. The extra money over the builder quality radiators was well worth the cost. Highly recommended.
