I was dreading the whole new- car shopping/ leasing/buying process until I came to Planet Subaru! Barrett - our awesome salesperson was knowledgeable, professional, patient and low-pressure. Max put us at ease immediately and was more than transparent and accommodating in arranging Subaru financing, and the entire dealership is head and shoulders above the other 4 we visited. If you think you hate car buying- go to Planet. Ill never go anywhere else!

We had a great experience at Planet Subaru. We worked with sales agent, Kelly Cronin, who walked us through each step of the process. Kelly took all the steps to gather information for us about the trade-in value of our previous car. Then, Kelly was able to provide us with costs of various models of cars on the lot, and explain promotions that would save us money. Kelly made mutliple car models available to us to test-drive, and provided clear descriptions of their features. Ultimately, we landed on a Subaru Outback and have been very happy with our purchase so far. Thanks to Kelly and the Planet Subaru Team!

If I could give Planet Subaru more than 5 stars, I would. My car kicked the bucket with no warning, so I had to rush to find a replacement. This was my first time buying a car through a dealership, and they were wonderful to work with during a stressful time. Both Rhonda and Scott answered all of my questions via email promptly and thoroughly. When my husband and I went to Planet Subaru for a test drive, Amelia was super helpful and encouraged us to take our time with the test so that we could get a feel for the car. We decided that the car was the right fit and decided to buy it day of. This is obviously a huge purchase, and the number they quoted me via email was the actual number they gave in person. They even helped me find the lowest APR possible. We did have the option to add additional packages, such as a bumper to bumper warranty. They explained what each option was and why or why not it would be beneficial. I never felt pressured to add anything on, whereas another dealership I went to tacked on a bunch of extra warranties/packages to the overall cost without giving us the choice to opt in or out of them. I am so so happy that we decided to go to Planet Subaru, and we will definitely be repeat customers when we need to replace our second car. Thank you Planet Subaru!

I just purchased a wrx from this dealership and I have nothing but good things to say about them. Staff was very informative and friendly Jeff in sales and Joe in finance were amazing and easy to work a deal with. I never felt the stress that comes when in the market for a new vehicle. Would highly recommend this company if you're looking for a new or used car.

I really can't say enough great things about this dealership. I worked with Amelia and Max for the purchase of my 2022 Forester Wilderness and they were super personable, down to earth, and easy to work with. Not once were they ever pushy (like MANY car sales-people can be) and they worked with me through some issues I was having with the value of my current Subaru Impreza. I'm extremely happy with the experience I had and I absolutely LOVE my new car. Highly recommend

I do not enjoy car shopping, but Ben at Planet Subaru made the process painless. There was no sales pressure - he is knowledgeable, friendly and laid back. I just bought my first brand new car at Planet Subaru, on the suggestion of several friends who have purchased vehicles there. I ve never made such a big purchase, and they made the whole process extremely comfortable, from beginning to end. They helped me handle a very frustrating insurance issue, and when it took an extra day, they gave me a brand new loaner car to make my life easier. I felt so well taken care of, and when I brought my dog back the next day, they treated him like family :) Ben was the sweetest, most patient salesman, and spent a ton of time making sure I understood all of the electronic bells and whistles. I ll be recommending them to anyone and everyone from here on out!

This dealership is amazing. Buying a new car can be wonderful, but also stressful. Friends recommended that i drive a few extra miles to go to Planet Subaru (I live in Boston) because they (my friends) had a wonderful experience. I can't recommend this dealership enough. Connor was incredible- I called him about 3 months before i was ready to buy a new car, he ordered the car (they didn't have it on the lot) and he never tried to up-sell me. He kept in constant contact with me and answered all of my many questions as the process progressed and kept me informed every step of the way. When the time came for me to pick up my car, Planet Subaru made it sooooooo easy. They are part of the DRIVE program, so they register your car, they did my inspection, everything with registration etc. so when i drove away I didn't need to do one single thing- everything was taken care of. Connor also made sure, before I drove my car out of the lot, I completely understood all it's features, etc. Truly an amazing experience.

My sons car was on its way out and he needed a new car, I decided to sell him my 2018 Subaru Outback and I would buy a new car. Foolishly I didn t buy another Subaru, but instead bought a different make car. Well, I was never quite happy in that other car and finally realized I just needed to be back in a Subaru.Enter Planet Subaru ..If I could give Planet Subaru 10 stars I would. I have never had a better experience at any other dealership ever.Our salesperson Crystal was outstanding! She walked us through every step of the process from the test drive, to negotiating our trade-in and then purchasing our new Outback, it was easy Peasy and stress-free. She was an absolute delight!Max our finance person was just as friendly and professional. He got us the best rate, Explained all the extras, the pros and cons of each and let us make our decision, No pressure.Couldn t ask for anything more.So happy to be back in a Subaru.I will recommend Planet Subaru to anyone and everyone!We are Planet Subaru customers for life!

Amazing experience with this dealership.they were efficient, on top of everything, seem less process honestly one of the better car buying experiences. I thought all the "undealership" stuff about this place was just marketing nonsense, but I was wrong. I straight up told my salesperson Stephanie, "this is the most pleasant experience I've ever had in a car dealership." There was ZERO pressure to make a deal, just a friendly follow up email after I left the first time. They worked with me on the value of my trade-in to get my payment even a few dollars below what I told them my target was. From the moment I walked in the door to the moment I drove away in my new car, there is nothing I would have liked them to do differently. I will 100% be buying/leasing every Subaru from here from now on.

We have serviced our Subarus for several years at Planet Subaru. Our service experience has been exceptional. Every phone call and personal interaction (Ali, Josh everyone!!) is professional and friendly. Repair estimates and timing estimates are clear and accurate. The Passport Program (guaranteed loaner care) makes it easy.I used to dread taking my car in for service (before I went to PS).Not anymore. I trust the Planet Subaru service team. The most incredible people, honestly. My experience interacting with many other dealerships (of both Subaru and its competitors) pales in comparison to the experience I've had dealing with everyone at Planet. I won't do business anywhere else because it's THAT different. Judy / Mae / Klaire in sales, Jamie in management, Joe and Max in finance, everyone is awesome.There's no pressure, everyone is kind and *incredibly* patient. I couldn't have been a more frustration-inducing customer at times (lots of indecision on my part!), and yet everyone maintained their patience with me. They were understanding, compassionate, and made sure I ultimately arrived at the car that was best for my situation at the time. Everything from the handling of my initial inquiries to the ordering (and re-ordering...) process, and eventually delivery was flawless. Thank you Planet Subaru!!!

I just purchased my 6th Subaru and 1st from Planet Subaru.I will say, every experience I've had at Subaru dealerships has been great. I've purchased from 5 dealerships now, and Planet Subaru was a head above the rest.From the first interaction via email when I was browsing the largest inventory I've found in MA/RI to my onsite experience with Jeff Mitchell (my sales rep), the process was easy. Joe in Financing went through everything with me, made recommendations based on my intended use and at no point in the process did I feel uncomfortable or like I was being unnecessarily upsold.I will definitely be back for future family vehicle purchases and can't say enough great things.Added bonus for the dog lovers, there are 2 dog friends that roam the floor which helped pass the time with my 6yr old as we waited to finalize everything.

Kelly at Planet Subaru sold me a gently used Subaru when I wasn t necessarily going to buy a Subaru. I was only looking. She was so easy to talk to about what I was looking for and why. She just started showing me availability and suggesting how this one or that one might fit in with my dreams. Amazing. So I bought one. The next day I started west and drove 3000 miles before returning home. Best car on the planet. :-). Kelly is special. Thank you! The other people are great too. It kinda takes a village to buy a car, actually. So I thank the Planet Subaru village.

I bought my first Subaru back in 1999/2000? when Planet Subaru was located in Norwell at Queen Anne's Corner. Have had great experiences with the dealership! Have had couple of hiccups over the years...BUT the staff are quick to resolve any issues. They truly care about their customers and live up to their reputation as an "undealership"Most recent service was last week! Check in and check out with Allie at service desk was seamless! Allie is GREAT! Love Planet and if/when (hoping my 2018 Crosstrek is my forever car) I am looking for another car, this would be the place! Highly recommend!

I bought a new 2024 Subaru Crosstrek this past weekend at Planet Subaru in Hanover. I had the best experience I have ever had buying a new car. I worked with Stephanie and she was absolutely amazing! She was so knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend asking for her if you are planning a trip to Planet Subaru for a new car. They came highly recommended and I can see why. The whole car buying process was seamless from the day I arrived to test drive cars to the final day of driving my new car off the lot. Max from the Finance Dept was also extremely great to work with. They don't put any pressure on you at all to buy all the extra warranty offers and give you their best recommendation. I am really excited about my new car and working with the dealership in the future for all my service needs.

Ali is great, she is always cheerful & willing to go the extra mile. It is always nice to see her smiling face when I take my car in for service.

I came in basically needing to buy a car pretty quickly as they totaled my car and gave me a few days with my rental to get a car. Despite being a bit overwhelmed with the entire crash process, I happened to stumble upon Planet Subaru. Funny enough, I had no intention of going there, it happened to be across the street from a birthday party I took my kid to that day so I decided to stop in. I had every intention on looking at multiple places but interestingly enough they had a car I really loved. Not only that, but when I went in to the office, I feared being haggled by sales people as that would make me run for the hills! Thankfully, this team is not a pressure sales team and truly listen to you and want to help you. I worked with Kelly Cronin and I really liked her from the getco. She was easy to work with, a good listener and was accommodating to my needs. If she didn't have the answer, she went and got it for me. Communication was excellent and the day she was out she made sure she had coverage to assist me to keep the process moving. Again, can't say enough about the no pressure and just making the process as seamless as possible. I felt comfortable and that I was in good hands!

I have purchased two Subarus from Planet Subaru. I bought a Subaru Forester back in 2017 following an accident in which a driver blew through a red light, t-boning my beloved Toyota Corolla and I into a concrete wall. After that frightening experience, finding a new car that had gold star safety rating and great reliability became increasingly important to me. At the time, I was fortunate to work with Rhonda Sommer. Rhonda was absolutely awesome to work with. She did not pressure or push me and worked with me patiently until I found the right car for me. Unfortunately, not six months later, my new Forester was totaled when another reckless (and inebriated) drive took a left turn directly into the side of my car. I had returned to Planet Subaru, but was in a rush to find something ASAP and ended up buying a Subaru Crosstrek elsewhere. Last summer, my recently paid off Crosstrek was obliterated due to circumstances outside of my control. I began the exhausting and painful task of car shopping yet again. I shopped around at a few spots and was met with sketchy car salespeople who were very pushy and inflexible. My partner reminded me of Planet Subaru and in a last ditch effort to just get a damn car I reached out. I was delighted to hear from Rhonda! Rhonda has moved to online car sales with Planet Subaru and was able to set up a meeting with another in person car salesperson, Amelia. Rhonda thought we would be a good fit and that Amelia would be able to help me find the right car. Let me tell you, Rhonda could have a side gig as a matchmaker. Amelia was absolutely amazing to work with: friendly, funny, empathetic, and relaxed. Amelia listened to me vent about my experiences with bad drivers and the last three accidents (none, I feel is important to repeat probably for the sake of my own ego, of which were my dang fault!) I had to deal with and gave me the space to mourn the passing of my last three cars. Amelia was patient while I browsed the cars on the lot and gave me the keys to take a plasma yellow pre-owned Crosstrek for a spin. I instantly loved the car. Aesthetically pleasing orange stitching on the steering wheel and seats, Apple CarPlay, additional safety features my previous Crosstrek had no had. Obnoxious in color, very hard to miss, who could possibly drive into me with this flashing color in their face (*knocks on wood, forever and always*)!? The entire process was painless, smooth, and there was never any pressure or persistence that I better jump and commit right away. On top of it all, when Amelia asked if there was anything else she could do, I joked that she could bring in a rabbi, priest, pastor, all men/women/people of any religious denomination she could possibly think of to cleanse the car of any possible "bad vibes" or negative energy. Amelia did one better and with the help of another car sales rep saged the new-to-me car and placed two crystals (black tourmaline and clear quartz) in the car to revoke any negative energy and bring in the good. I'm not a crystal or new age person by any means, but the photos she texted me made me laugh during a stressful time and it meant a lot that Amelia and the Planet Subaru team went out of their way to actually fulfill my silly request. I couldn't recommend this dealership enough. You don't often come across relaxed and empathetic people let alone car salespeople. I appreciate the services they provide and the fact that they all go above and beyond to help their customers. Much appreciation and gratitude to this lovely team!

I m a long-time Planet Subaru customer (20+ years.) I can t imagine having to go anywhere else to purchase or maintain my vehicle. I just bought my third Subaru Forester from Planet Subaru. The sales, finance, and service people are excellent. I always feel comfortable, thoroughly informed, and treated with respect and honesty as a woman buying and maintaining vehicles here. They do so many things right; they check all the boxes. There are no pressure tactics, no slick games, no talking past me and to my husband instead if he happens to be with me. That speaks volumes to me in and of itself.I also really appreciate all they do to give back to the community, be environmentally friendly and responsible, and to promote women in their workplace.I have always been assisted to find what works best for me when purchasing and servicing my vehicles at Planet. Customer service with integrity at its best.Most recently, I m grateful for my experiences with Dale, Mae, Max, Andy, Ally, and all of the other wonderful employees who were part of my recent purchase experience!Thank you!

We've taken our Legacy here for service we bought it in 2017. We're often offered a loaner vehicle and a car wash, which are nice perks of their Passport program. The advisers have all been pite and professional. The techs do a good job as far as I can tell.This last time I had noticed some uneven wear on the tires before bringing it in. I was going to see if I needed an alignment. The adviser I dealt with mentioned it had been a while since our last alignment but not a lot of miles. She recommended waiting until spring and doing it after the snow and pot hole season was over. I was pleasantly surprised and pleased.

I had the best experience buying a car here. I didn t feel pressured or forced into something I did not want. I had started out with Rhonda who then handed me off to Amelia who did an amazing job at finding me the car that I wanted and getting me through the process of buying. Both Rhonda and Amelia were extremely nice and kind. Highly recommend buying here! There s a really sweet dog and very nice employees. I m looking forward to buying here again next time I m in the market for a new car.
