Fine rooms, ours had a kitchenette and little living room area in addition to two comfy queen beds. Breakfast was fine both mornings and included some cereal, yogurts, a pastry, oatmeal, and a different egg and meat option each day. There's a pool (but no hot tub) and a guest laundry with two washers and dryers. Overall, it's a good budget place to stay for a few nights.Walkability: Definitely in more of a sprawling strip mall area of town. Big free parking lot, you'll want to have a car if you stay here.

The rooms are fabulous! We had two queen beds and a very comfortable fold out couch that I slept on. The attendant provided an extra blanket and pillows. The kitchen is THE BEST! Since we have food allergies, we were able to cook our own food. The only two negatives were: the ALMONDS in the breakfast bar are not WRAPPED up and self-contained like the peanut butter. The peanut butter was in its own closed packaging. There is definitely potential for cross contamination. Yes; they do change their gloves when restocking the almonds, but the almonds should be in closed packaging like the peanut butter to prevent cross contamination. Second; I took a luke warm shower. What happened to the hot water? We stayed in a room with an excellent shower that that had a hand held option. We did witness some happy celebrants of Blarney, but the hotel was very quiet. Yes; we would stay here again for the excellent kitchen and room service!!!Rooms: Clean and very comfortable.Nearby activities: PLENTY to do in the Amherst, Hadley, Northampton area!!Safety: We felt very safe.Walkability: Yes; hotel guests can walk to neighboring stores. Hadley has many places to shop.Food & drinks: Excellent options in the area to eat out or shop at local supermarkets to bring in to cook your own. The breakfast options were great except for the open almonds.Noteworthy details: The kitchen is very well stocked. The room was very clean. The fold out couch is very comfortable.

We've stayed here before. Mostly pretty good. Clean, plenty of room, pleasant desk staff. Two problems. We've enjoyed the breakfast in the past. This time they had no gluten free bagels (a personal need), ran out of milk, apples and oranges, the orange juice was thin, some of the food was cold and the oatmeal was quite watery. The shower was lousy. There was very little water pressure and the water was luke warm.Rooms: Roomy and clean. Outlets in the right places. Two burner cooktop, necessary kitchen equipment, dishwasher, full refrigerator and microwave.Nearby activities: Plenty of shopping and nice restaurants. Trader Joe's, LL Bean and Whole Foods. Easy drive to Northampton which is great fun.

I was not informed about the pet fee until I saw it on my bill. They charged me twice when I reported it to the front desk. The employee was very rude to me ( and told me they wouldn t have charged me twice ..even though they did ) and sent me to her supervisor who intern was even more rude. she told me there was nothing she could do about it to call my bank . She told me that she would need to speak to the woman who checked me in to see if they told me about the pet fee, which I informed her nobody told me about it. She said she would call me back within a few minutes. I am sitting here in the room now it s been a few hours and nobody has bothered to call me back.) the room smelled and it took them over an hour to bring fresh towels to the room. The location was good but the service here was absolutely horrible.

Our visitors chose this hotel, and I spent time there and was impressed. I don't like hotels and motels, generally, but I enjoyed this one. It's also been one of the best of the places they have stayed in so far in Hadley. I didn't rate the service because I didn't stay here, but my visitors had very few complaints.Rooms: The open-concept room chosen by our visitors had a small galley kitchen, a work desk/dining table, a small living area in a spacious bedroom, and a spacious bathroom that was suitable for a disabled person (who was not in a wheelchair). The room was comfortable for five of us to hang out in.Nearby activities: The hotel is in a typical commercial district in Hadley, but it is also close to much New England country charm if you have a car. There is a bike path/walking trail behind the shopping area across the street. It is not far to get to other hiking trails, the Connecticut River has boating opportunities, and there are pond/lake activities in the summer. The hotel is within the five-college area, so there are many college campus activities, including museums in nearby Amherst, Northampton, and South Hadley, where there is also good and great dining and additional shopping. It is a great spot for visiting prospective students and families.Other interesting museums, such as the Emily Dickinson Museum, Historic Deerfield and a Yiddish Books Center and childrens' book museum are also not far. And there are usually various festivals and activities happening everywhere in the small towns all around. On Route 9, there are garden centers, a steakhouse, diners, a vegan restaurant called Pulse, family entertainment centers, brewery/restaurants and cinemas in the Hampshire Mall, etc.It is easy to get to many scenic byways (roads) from here for great autumn leaf-peeping. Also, the great corn maze Mike's Maze is not a far drive on Route 47 and don't miss Richardson's Candy on Route 5/10 near Historic Deerfield.Walkability: It is walking distance or short driving distance to Starbucks, Chipotle, L.L. Bean, Whole Foods, Walmart, Barnes & Noble, Home Depot, and other shopping.Food & drinks: There is food available in a shop-like area in the lobby, including some organic and vegan fare. There is a breakfast buffet and a large dining area/restaurant.Noteworthy details: Their mascot/spirit animal is the duck because it travels far, but always feels home. This is a nice and cute bit of branding. There was actually a pretty, nature-y view this fall from the west-facing room. The hotel was clean, new, and staff were pleasant. They have real hospitality industry training, it seems. It is close to, but not directly on the main highway Route 9, so I didn't hear traffic noise.

Arianna at the front desk was right - I'd LOVE my room and would enjoy my stay! The building is clean, well kept, offers a large dining room to eat or lounge in.The front desk has a small but well stocked 'store' in case you're looking for a snack OR if you forgot to pack something- this was a nice touch. The room has a great layout and has all the amenities you'd need for a short or long stay.If you need or want to explore - the hotel is located conveniently in a plaza that has a number of offerings from a market to fast food. Can't say enough good things about my stay here. You'll be comfortable and will enjoy your time at the Homewood Suites.

Excellent Homewood Suites by Hilton located in Hadley, Massachusetts, just off of Route 9. It was the first time that I had ever stayed at this particular Hilton property. It was only built back in 2019, so everything looks and feels new, as it should. The standard room was extremely spacious with a kitchen area that included a full-size refrigerator, stove top, sink, and all kinds of needed kitchen utensils, glasses, pots and pans, etc. Built in Microwave over stove top, plus toaster. Desk with table light for any business needs. Rooms come with either a King Size Bed or 2 Queen Size Beds. Rooms include a sofa and table, and another table with a TV. The bathroom featured a walk-in shower and toilet in a separate room, with a vanity and sink just outside that room. Nice size closet opposite the vanity. The hotel is beautiful and includes a hot breakfast every morning. What I liked best about it, besides it being so new and clean, was how quiet the room was and the location. Plenty of parking as it shares a shopping plaza with several types of stores, which is not the typical location that one would normally find a Hotel located at, which are usually located near a busy and noisy highway. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. 15 minutes to Northampton and 10 minutes to Amherst or UMASS. The staff were friendly and professional, as expected in all Hilton properties. You certainly won't go wrong at this location. Highly recommended!!!

The room itself was great. However, housekeeping came through one day and threw out a pack of water bottles I had in the fridge. I brought this to the attention of the front desk and the lady wrote the issue down on a sticky note, however no follow up was conducted (at least none I was notified of). I wasn't even offered a complimentary bottle of water. Obviously not a huge loss, but on the basis of principle, it was very subpar "hospitality."

Good service, but an invoice was deducted from my debit card without my authorization due to an error on the website after closing the reservation, I hope to be reimbursed so that I can reevaluate again, so far poor customer service.

I was there for a conference and didn't actually see any of the rooms that people stay in. I figured it wouldn't be fair to give anything less than five stars being that I didn't see it. If the rooms are anything like the service I got for the conference room then I would give it five stars. They were good about helping us set up for the room and made sure that we had everything we needed.

This is a modern hotel and the rooms are nice. No shower gel in the shower was a pain as you only find out something like that when you are in the shower. Breakfast is a joke. Easily one of the worst complimentary breakfasts I've experienced. Choice of bulk eggs, ham, and tater tots. No sausage, bacon, pancakes, waffles, etc. Fruit choice was green bananas and apples. Only juice was apple, not even orange juice. Poor selection of bread, tired bagels and croissants, etc. Nothing refreshed, had to ask for everything including forks, and coffee was empty. Really inexcusable for the price point. They have a pool, but water is murky. They have a workout room which is nicely equipped, but several machines were not functioning. Overall poor value. I will look to stay elsewhere next time in the area.

Lots of issues. Loud group outside of my room in the grill area. 2 nights in a row. Last night was out there for over 6 hours. Finally broke up around 130 AM. Asked to move my room but there were none to move too. Had 2nd floor. People above me had cement feet. Plugged sink drain. Still slow even after fixing. It's is a super new place great views from outside rooms. Get a 3rd floor room facing away from everything and away from the lobby area. I stayed here once before with zero issues. All in all a nice place. Just dependez on the room you get.

This is a nice hotel. They have ample breakfast options for you. I found the bed to be very firm and we had some loud neighbors upstairs, but we deal, that s how we roll. We had a nice stay. Good hangout for a week working on the road and visiting family. Easy to find. Located near lots of food and shopping options.

A very new and well designed hotel. We had a spacious suite that included two queen beds and a convertible couch as well as a kitchen with table and chairs. Pluses included a nice view of the Pioneer Valley, a good hot breakfast, and a well equipped gym. Things that could be better: the pool water was murky and the room table had only three chairs.

I thought that the rooms were very spacious for a suite, plenty of room for a large family. The rooms were also very clean, and service was good. A good location, close to a venue we had that weekend. However, I thought the cost was very high, almost $300 for a Thursday night, and $400 for a Friday night. Breakfast was included, so we really didn't need a fully equipped kitchen. I would opt for a hotel that is less expensive next time.

Nice sized room, but seriously overpriced. 330 USD for a king sized bed, though it did come with a kitchenette (that I did not use). Very annoyingly, the sheer curtains were really almost transparent, and the blackout curtains did not close all the way, by design! What the heck were they thinking?! The bathroom was not very clean, it had spots of dirt and marks on the floor and on the toilet. Reception was not very friendly, and the breakfast looked unappetizing (and was missing dishes that were empty, at 8 am itself) that I did not eat.

When I booked the room I was promised a foam bed topper would be put on the mattress by housekeeping. Three days prior to my stay I confirmed that the mattress topper would be on the mattress for my terrible lower back. On the day that I stayed at 5 PM I called and was told that they did not in fact have any bed toppers and was told that they would add comforters or blankets to the mattress. When I arrived at 11 PM I was told that I would have to make my bed myself and then the man at the counter told me that I should feel free to find another hotel that would accommodate my needs. The room was clean and nicely decorated but the entire point of staying in a hotel is to sleep . One doesn t go to a hotel unless one needs a good bed. At 2:30 in the morning my back was in screaming pain as though I was sleeping on a plywood board. By the time I fell asleep I missed breakfast because I had been in so much pain. Then the manager of the hotel refused to give me my points back and insisted that I had in fact been told that they did not have any bed toppers. So she had no problem lying to me. Had I known, I could ve gone to Walmart and bought my own . It was a horrible experience.

The only reason I m giving The Homewood Suites by Hilton in Hadley, MA three out of five stars is because of our scary dog encounters. This hotel apparently allows big breed dog stays. I m the biggest animal lover but I m a little wary of BIG dogs. We encountered two BIG dogs before even making it to our room. Again I love dogs but found it unnerving to encounter BIG dogs in narrow hallways. I want to warn others who may be even more wary of dogs than I or have a fear of dogs. With that said, on a positive note, the hotel was superbly clean with top-notch modern furnishings and a lovely complimentary breakfast with terrific variety.

Probably the best hotel in the area, newly renovated and the rooms are huge with functional kitchens. Also, pet friendly! Would definitely stay here again. Excellent place...Rooms: Very large 2 room suites with kitchens

This was my second stay at Homewood Suites in Hadley because my first experience was so wonderful. The brand new hotel still has the 'new hotel smell' and is beautiful. The rooms are huge and the beds are comfy. Everything about this hotel is so beautifully done. I appreciated the dishwasher, the refrigerator, and all the dishes and utensils. The room had everything I needed for a very comfortable stay. When I requested a quiet room, I got it, and despite being on a major road in Hadley, it was like we were staying out in the woods--no noise at all. Plus, we had so many stores within walking distance like Target, Trader Joe's, Aldi is right next door, and all the other Big Box stores are nearby. The hotel staff was so nice and welcoming. I'd definitely stay at Homewood again!
