Nightmare experience, we will not be returning there. We dropped our van off for a recall/warranty fix if a transmission issue. Chrysler parts were backordered. Since the car was undrivable due to the issue we had to leave it at the dealership for over a month. The service department said they didn't have loaners and Chrysler only reimburses rentals after 90 days, which isn't reasonable for us. It was the first type of this repair for their mechanic and they ended up breaking something else while doing the repair (which they fixed at no cost). Our van ended up at the dealership for over a month. Communication was horrible as they rarely answered the phone or returned calls. On several occasions we had to drive there to get an update on the repair status. After we finally got our van back, we drove a few blocks away and the check engine light came back on. We turned around and took it right back. They ran the codes and told us "It's no probably not a big deal and not related to the transmission". A family friend who's a mechanic gave us the real diagnosis of a wheel bearing and a heater issue. We took it to a different dealership this time to find out that the wheel bearing went out of warranty while it was at Salvadores! This could have easily been diagnosed and fixed if the mechanic listened to the car while he was test driving it. Thankfully the heater is still under warranty and can be fixed by a more competent service department.
