I don t usually leave reviews but Advanced European Repair definitely deserves one a great one. Simon is a great auto repair manager have known him for years. The entire process was extremely professional and customer-forward. The diagnosis of my car s problem was undertaken with great professionalism and diligence. They worked super hard to find a good and affordable repair solution and the repair followed as planned. Having a loaner (and very nice one at that) was key through the whole process. And after the work was done the results in terms of the car s function and performance was immediate: goal accomplished. There were several points along the way where a less professional shop would ve cut corners and taken my money. Not AER. I felt like a valued and respected customer every step of the way. I m very impressed and will call them with my next auto repair need.

I brought my Mini to get the oil filter housing gaskets replaced. After the repair, my Mini had 2 new lights on the console. One was indicating a faulty light and the other was an engine light. I brought the car back thinking they forgot to reconnect the fog light when they removed the front end of the car to do the oil filter housing gasket repair, but it turned out the light bulb was burnt, they fixed it without charge. The second light may be due to the exhaust pipe that was removed to facilitate the oil filter gasket replacement. The exhaust line repair has been completed and I reset the light myself. If it reappears I will bring it to them to see what the problem may be Overall, a good experience so far!

Jim at Nice Car Care is an absolute angel. You couldn't find a better person or mechanic to put your trust in. Many years ago when I was a teenager with an old 1994 Ford tempo I was in an accident. My cars front body was damaged and and no one would fix it, it was totaled and because the car was so old, insurance would have only paid a couple hundred dollars and I could not replace the car with just that. Jim went to junk yards to find parts and worked tirelessly using his incredibly intuitive skills to repair the car, allowing this teen at the time, to have a car to go to work and school. It's 18 years later, I live in New Hampshire and my power steering goes, the rack needing to be replaced, while I'm here in on a put stop in Massachusetts trying to get home so I can start a brand new job, on my birthday, this Monday. I called everywhere and everybody is booking out weeks and weeks at the moment. Then I called Jim. I explained my situation to him and without any hesitation Jim said "I am busy but I really do want to help you". He is allowing me to have my car towed to him this evening so he can repair the car for me and get me home in time to get ready for my brand new job. I couldn't ask for a better birthday gift, ask for a kinder person to reach out to, ask for a better mechanic. Jim truly puts people first. His empathy and sympathy can't be matched. He is an amazing person and you couldn't ask for a more skilled or giving person to go to. If you truly want the best Nice Car Care is the place to go, hands down, no questions asked. Thank you Jim! You have saved me twice now and I hope all of the kindness you share comes back to you tenfold. Sincerest thanks Laura LaValley

I had a tire damaged a day before a big road trip. My normal mechanic was too busy to help me. Nice Car Care came to my rescue and got my car road ready and gave me a list of services i am missing for when i get back. I appreciate them pointing out an overdue service my normal guy never mentioned.

Repaired a flat tire with no notice. They were very courteous, did all they could to get me in and out quickly despite my having no appointment. It's been over a week and 500 trouble free miles. They did a great job.

May 2023; After going here for 2 years now, I would still recommend Nice Car Care The team is right up front with cost and don't force anything on you. They have been good to our family with all of our repairs.2021 ~ Jim was recommended and I am so glad I went here. honest and did not replace anything that did not need replacing. Recently I had my car in for an oil change and Nice Car Care did a full diagnostic assessment of it (2011 Accord with 218,000 miles on it).The diagnostic tool is excellent for really focusing on my cars current conditions and being able to reliably plan for maintenance needs to come! Great experience at Nice Car Care. They provided me updates via text messages and was very communicative throughout the whole process. They even sent me photos of my rear struts leaking and the issues like my corroded battery leads. Courteous, prompt and professional shop, this is a place where you can really trust the owner and his team.I have a great story to share about Nice Auto in Franklin.My 2013 Lexus has been having transmission problems. So I took it to the Lexus dealer to have it checked out. The same dealer I have been using for service since buying the car in 2013. My car has 180,000 miles.They looked at the car, charged me $155 to diagnose the problem, and concluded by telling me I had a tired transmission that needed to be replaced and quoted $9000 to do the work.I wanted a second opinion on that quote and called Nice Auto. One of the owners took my call and invited me to bring the car in to be checked out. He told me he could get me a new transmission if I needed one, but that he figured it would make sense to first check things out to make sure a new transmission was needed.I went in the next morning and I immediately felt good about Nice Auto. Jim was incredibly friendly and recalled our conversation from the day before - so I didn t need to review any details with him or provide any additional info - he had written it all down and he was ready to go.By 3 pm, I had connected with Jim and he told me that after checking things out, he believed he had solved the problem by resetting the adaptive transmission. He invited me back to the shop to test it out, which I did that afternoon. Amazingly, the car works like new. No new transmission necessary. All up, the cost to me was the time that Jim spent checking things out, which was just an hour - barely $100. I was thrilled.Selfishly, what s great about this story is this: when the Lexus dealer told me the transmission would cost $9000, I was debating between buying a new car and paying a dealer $9000 for a new transmission. But Jim, because he thought it made sense to check things out before suggesting a new transmission should be installed, figured out the problem and saved me thousands and thousands of dollars. And I am super thankful to him for doing that!The service I got from Jim was courteous, prompt, and professional. And honest.And based on his ability to diagnose and solve an issue that the professional certified Lexus service people could not figure out, it is easy to conclude that Jim is highly competent and capable.My only regret is that I ve not been giving my business to Nice Auto in Franklin over the years.They will be getting it from now on.

I am in the area for school. In 3 weeks I'll be heading back to New Jersey. My Chevrolet Avalanche was having some brake issues (a frozen caliper). Unfortunately for me, it needed to be fixed today. Fortunately, I found Jim and his great staff at Nice Car Car. I arrived at 2pm and by 2:10 pm, the truck was in the shop. By 4 pm, the truck was fixed and I was out the door. I do not know of any car repair shop in New Jersey that would have taken me right away and had the truck fixed within 2 hours. Jim and his crew went above and beyond what I would have expected. I would almost consider making the 4 hour trip back here to have my truck serviced. That is how good Jim and his crew are and how much I value the work they did. I am very envious of anyone who lives within a 50 mile radius (1 hour drive) of Nice Car Care. As most of the previous comments have said, a good car repair shop is like a good doctor. Once you find them, you'll go out of your way to see them. And as I said in my case, a 4 hour trip does not seem to be too big of a price too pay to see the great people at Nice Car Care.

Best garage around, bought a new car had a bunch of stuff done with a huge discount. We had one particular part come in a couple days later that i had already paid for to be installed and everything, so when it comes in and they bring the car in to the garage to replace it, the original non-working part was working again all of the sudden... so he wrote me a check for the money i spent on the part and the installation fee write there on the spot. The owner Jim is a stand up guy that's honest and right to the point, if your having problems with your car I highly recommend this place I'm coming here regularly now!!! Been looking for a mechanic like this for a long time!

I was traveling from New York with 3 small kids in my car when I started having engine problems on I-495 and I was able to make it off the highway and find this repair shop. They ran diagnostics for me free of charge to find out what was wrong so I could let the dealership know. They were very friendly to my family and kids while we rented a car to continue to our final vacation destination. They even let me keep my car there so a tow truck could pick it up the following day.Everyone who worked there was very nice and friendly. I am thankful that they were so kind!

I stopped here by chance after being in the area for business and my mini-cooper all of sudden started to sputter and the check engine light came on. I was in a panic. Luckily I drove right by this place and pulled in. I was driving between work appointments on a time crunch and Jim calmly agreed to take a look even though I said I had to be back in Boston for work in less than 2 hours. Within 45 minutes, he diagnosed the problem, ordered and got the new part, and had me out the door back on the road. This place is amazing, and the prices are very honest and reasonable. Highly recommend.

Nice Car Care is a great place to get your car serviced. They're speedy and pleasant and know ALL about cars. Prices are reasonable and they're conveniently located near Forge Park. I've been very happy with them so far.
