I rarely leave reviews but felt this place went above and beyond repairing my car. I came in after my muffler came off due to rust and a massive oil leak that I had been ignoring. Knowing the engine was a big task I talked with John about my car and if the repair was worth it. I have a 97 Suzuki sidekick which many mechanics have pushed away repairing. We had a real conversation on what the repair would cost and the reality of the age of the car. I went through with the repair both on the muffler and engine crankshaft gasket. The price was responsible for the work going into it and they ensured to explain everything before starting. I d like to also note that I m a women and did not feel talked down to or taken advantage of which I ve left mechanics in the past when they lie about what s going on. I m no mechanic but am aware of how my car works and the language surrounding it. After picking up my car it was having some noise issues and when I called they worked with me to get it back to them to take a look. They honored the warranty and adjusted a gasket on the muffler free of charge. My car is back to running so smooth and I m in love with it. Would definitely go back to this place.

Tosti s is still family owned and they have been in business for more than a century. They take the time to explain work needed and prepare you for future work to your car. They competitively quote and let you know when something is urgent and when other work can be deferred. The candor and commitment to making sure you re clear on the plan before proceeding is something I really appreciate so much.I once made the mistake of going to Valvoline for an oil change. Following the appointment my car wouldn t start and my check engine light was glowing. It ended up being a sloppy job causing the computer to read a misfire, but the engine light was off by the time I arrived at Tosti s for my appointment. No work was needed, but they still had their team look into it. I had ate up an appointment slot days before the Christmas travel rush when everyone was bringing in their vehicles for service. I showed up relieved that there was nothing wrong but was stunned when they refused my offer to pay for labor.The integrity of this place is second to none. The quality of service is top notch. And having a trusting team of mechanics who treat you like a partner, not a paycheck, is truly priceless!

We LOVE these guys. They've performed work on 3 of our cars (2 VW's and a Jaguar), and their work is always timely, fairly priced, and thorough.They NEVER try to oversell us on work we don't need, but will always advise us on potential safety issues or potential future work we should be prepared for.Their advice is honest, with our best interests in mind.It's SO important to have a mechanic you can trust, and the crew at Tosti's have truly earned ours.We've been working with them for 4 years, and will continue as long as we're here and they're in business!

I love Tosti's. Chris and John are honest and upfront. I recently brought my "new" used car in to check it out. After inspection, Johntold me there was absolutely nothing needed for the car. Imagine, he could have said it need oil, brake fluid, or anything and I would not know any better. No, he charged a fair fee to check it out and I drove home feeling great about the purchase and Tosti's!

After having nightmare mechanics, Tosti's is a wonderful relief. My car is 20 years old and needs work on a regular basis. There are no surprises and repairs/replacements are completed the first time. They are a reputable auto repair company. As that famous TV quote says, "try (it)them you'll like (it)them" I did and I won't go anywhere else.

Hello, I got an excellent referral by one of there long time loyal customers. He told they are a family run business and they are excellent, honest, and trustworthy, especially with working on Toyota Camry s. I am disappointed, being a business owner myself, I would never treat someone as such, I received horrible customer service, far less than satisfactory treatment. Not only is the person (who is / was a regular customer) he referred me, and he is also disappointed, and apologizes to me, because he is frankly shocked!!! When I showed him the paid invoice of over $300 he noticed it did not have any explanation for the money paid. I assumed it was for the diagnostic time, but I was told that should only take an hour to find the issue, and should not cost $300. The invoice says disabled ABS system for $300 - does not itemized the hours spent diagnosing the problem. I have no idea what I spent $300 on to be perfectly honest. I was further told the total repair work would cost approximately 3K on my 2007 Camry, but they disassembled my ABS systems told me this is what caused the car to be stalling. After charging me $300 to figure out the problem they asked me to pay a deposit to further order the ABS part that would cost $1,600, which by the way, I found online for $20.00. Meanwhile, after getting my car back from them, it completely broke down after they had the vehicle all day from 9:00 am till 5:00 pm. It was a frightening experience to be driving on Route 9 in Framingham when the car began to fail.. thankfully I was able to pull off the side of the road, got help from AAA who replaced the battery; however explained the car was not fully charging, this could be the alternator, to get the car it a mechanic. It is very sad being a single woman who clearly has been treated different than the guy who referred me. He explained has never been treated as such - never asked to pay for diagnostic testing, nor pay upfront with a deposit for payment on any parts, which he explained a part cost $800, and they did not ask for upfront payment. So I am out $300 with a disabled ABS system, and a dead battery, which AAA sold me a new battery for $200, with possibly alternator issue too. I would not recommend anyone to trust these folks. In my 56 years on the planet, I have never had anyone do business without first explaining there is a fee for simply looking at the car, and a fee for diagnosing the problem. Such poor business practices!!! If I knew upfront about the fee, I would have never gone in the first place, because I have never had any mechanic charge me for this, ever!!!! What a Horrible experience overall !!! DO NOT TRUST - these folks - especially if your a woman ! Here is a photo of my car broken down with AAA testing the battery on the same day I paid $300 dollars to have them simply look at the car - plus they had the car for the entire day! Unbelievable WRONG!

It is such a relief when you find a reputable auto service center. I ve been to Tosti s twice already once for a state inspection and again for a 30,000 mile service on my Sonata. They are exceedingly cordial, honest and fair!

Well normally I would give them a good review they do Good work. However, they also take advantage of people. But now I realize that they're dishonest. They do work that don't need to be done and lie to the customer And sometimes they abuse the customer's car till something fails just to get more won't be bringing my car back. They're Don't bring your car here if you want to save money.

My truck broke down late and towed to Tosti s. Chris and Joe addressed my needs and had it fixed quickly and correctly. Cleaned all leaking fluid and repaired broken hoses. Great technicians, customer service and value. They also stand behind their work!

I needed new tires and brakes. Tosti's took care of this on a timely basis lending me a loaner while they did the work. They are so responsive, helpful and do great work. I highly recommend them.

It was a very satisfying experience. The preparation for item required for the service were in place and the allowance for leaving the vehicle the previous day was very helpful. And when the vehicle was ready and we had other plans, we were able to pick it up the next day without issues or concerns.

Tosti of Framingham is the only Place I ll bring my car. So professional and kind a true family business. Just had headlights installed. Needed a beautiful job. Thank you so much.!!Update had rear brakes done oil pan and gasket replaced. It s a 2008 sonata but running and looking excellent thanks to Tostis !!

Hands-down, one of the best Mechanic shops I have ever been to their honest right to the point. And their prices are very reasonable Cheaper than any other mechanic shop I ve been to and the quality of work is outstanding. I would not bring my car to any other shop.

I won't bring our cars to any other mechanic in the area. These guys are highly professional and keep you informed with every step of the process. I called them the day after the Christmas holiday to ask if they could change the oil in my daughter's car who was visiting from out of town and they did it no problem!

Tosti's deserves high praise! I initially thought I needed an expensive muffler replacement, potentially costing thousands. However, they identified a small pipe as the solution, saving me at least 300% on the expected expense. Their expertise, honesty, and reliability make them true champions in their craft. I had a strange noise in rear end of my vehicle. After much frustration with G. M. Mechanics finding nothing wrong I decided to bring my vehicle to Tosti s.Chris was awesome communicating with me through the troubleshooting. The problem ended up being the shocks I recently purchased and had installed at G. M. Dealership. I would highly recommend Tostis.

A warning light showed up on my dashboard. I called the Subaru dealer and left a message with the service department. I called Tosti's. Chris answered the phone and said to bring it over. The fix would take 10 minutes. He was right. Easy fix. Now it's 2 days later and I still haven't heard from Subaru. I love Tosti's!

Awesome people and service ! I had just taken my IS 350 (46k miles) to Lexus Watertown. They told me I needed a new water pump for $1500. I declined and found Tosti s after an online search. I called them and they immediately sent me a quote for just over $1000. They were able to see me within 3days, and the service was incredible ! Chris (Tosti) explained in great detail why and what needed to be done. He gave me a rich history of Tosti s as well (the shop was started by his great-grandfather). When he gave me an estimate on time (very accurate), he even provided a free loaner so I could hang out at the Natick Mall. Overall, Tosti s showed me very exceptional, courteous, and knowledgeable service. I have been living in the Boston area for 30+ years, and it s great to have FINALLY found a reputable, family-run, trustworthy auto repair shop.
