I went here to get a simple inspection sticker. They failed it because of the window tint on the front driver and passenger windows even though the front driver and passenger window tint VLT% is the same as all of the rear factory windows VLT% so how can it be failed if it is the same VLT% as the factory "tint". This car has passed state inspection twice since I bought it with the same window tint VLT% on the front 2 windows. Any decent shops would call if they saw something that was going to make your car fail the inspection and ask if you still wanted to get it done which this plave did not do. They care more about getting money than providing good customer service. I would give 0 stars if I could and will never go back and will tell anyone I know in the area who needs any services for their vehicle, even if its just buying washer fluid, to never go here and not to support this business!

Had been a loyal customer for 15 years. Recent years shop has become dishonest and will tell you things are wrong when they aren't. Then grossly overcharge you for it.From my experience they have broken parts of my car they weren't working on. They improperly installed parts and even started disassembling my brothers engine without any authorization. When told we were going to get a second opinion, they threw the engine components into a box and had it sent to the other shop. The picture attached is how the car arrived to new shop.Even contacted corporate and they did not see a problem with the picture.. I would guess the BBB would have a field day...**UPDATE**Corporate claims this is resolved to protect their reviews. They made no attempt to remedy this enormous mistake.

Said my tire was unfixable and quoted me a replacement set of 4 for $1,200. I decided to get a second opinion at a different shop and they had no issue fixing my tire. Even if I needed a new set, I could get them for $700. Avoid this place, or at least get a second opinion. The only good part was the ease of making an appointment and friendly service.

Pre-appointment was a great experience, but after the job was done they tried to add on the cost of a service I hadn't ordered, and weren't transparent about the pricing. I set up my appointment online, and since the separate $99 "alignment" line item was confusing, I asked on the phone whether or not that was already included with the installation. I was told that they do a visual alignment check that is usually sufficient, but that if an alignment was needed they could add that on. My confirmation email lists the installation and "alignment check", but not an alignment, and certainly not the "peace of mind package" that adds on tire insurance. After the job when I went to pay, the price he told me was around $150 higher than what I expected. He said that they added the peace of mind package to the price. I asked whether they had had to do an alignment, and he said yes, so I said that they should have called me about the additional charge before they did it but if the service was performed I was fine with paying for it. I then asked him to remove the additional $40 for the peace of mind package. He said he had removed the $40, but then I asked to look at the breakdown before paying and only $30 had been removed. When I pointed that out, he removed the entire price for the peace of mind package, including alignment.I'll stress that Sullivan Tire went beyond what I asked for to remove the cost of the alignment service that they said they had performed. I appreciate that they did that. However the whole experience with paying left me with a bad feeling. I can understand them neglecting to call if they had to add an alignment, but there's no reason they should have added the entire peace of mind package in the first place if I hadn't ordered it, and their first attempt that didn't remove the entire $40 difference (even though they said they had removed $40) made me feel that they were trying to trick me. It's a shame, because they went above and beyond when I talked to them on the phone before the appointment, and even called me back to make sure I knew the deadline for the manufacturer's tire rebate so that I could schedule an appointment in time.

I have been having my car serviced at Sullivan tires in Framingham for the past 3 years. The employees are knowledgeable, courteous, pleasant and have taken good care of my car at a more reasonable price than the dealership. They treat customers fairly.

[NOTE: Within a week or so, Sullivan customer service took care of my issues. Anybody can have a bad day, and I'm fully pleased with my new tires. Changing original 2-stars to 4.]An outlier experience. I've purchased sets of tires from Sullivan at least 4 times, including this one. The other purchases have been good experiences, this one not so much.First, pre-appointment, there was a considerable back-and-forth on the phone to determine which tires fit my vehicle. I took my info from the Sullivan site, the Yokohama site, and the Goodyear site, all calling for 205/65R15 92H. Plus I was asked to go out and check the tires and report on the size...205/65R15 92. When I arrived, the desk manager said, "I have to look at your car. I have 3 sets of different tires for you." It was said in a way that made me feel as though he blamed me.Just after tire sizes were pinned down (and matched Sullivan, Yokohama, and Goodyear's recommendation for my car), I glimpsed the same model and same year car as mine pull into the shop, so I wandered over to the observation window and sure enough, two 2003s were getting tires. When I turned around, the guy at the counter said. "Can I help you." It was NOT a question. I was being grilled. I explained the situation and asked, "What are the chances for two 03s, same time, same day?" He basically huffed. If I were training him on customer relations I would suggest something like, "We don't see that every day" or "How about that?" even if this place gets identical 22-year-old cars at all hours, 6 days a week. When the shop was done, I discovered a $99 charge for alignment, despite having declined it during the phone sessions. I prefer my regular shop, which has a 4-month old Hunter rack. This is my bad, as I should have asked what was on the service request BEFORE turning over my keys. I looked over the alignment readout, saw that the fronts had been out of whack, and forked over the money. Unfortunately, right front was listed as still out of spec, no other info, so I'll have my shop check it out and if necessary, re-align and pay them their fee.I ended up feeling like a stranger in a strange land and a bit like a victim of invoice padding. The tires are as advertised, but for the first time, they are on the car smeared with tire mounting fluid, kind of like my car threw up on them. It was not a pleasant morning.

I dropped my car off at 9:30am and the store stated before leaving my car for 1x tire change that it would be done the same day which was the reason I chose this store. If I had known that they weren t able to service my car the same day, I could have gone to Marvis tires and brakes in Natick which quoted me at least $50 cheaper for the exact same tire/service. I didn t choose the other store because they weren t able to change my tire until the following day. Also, I was not notified that they were not able to service my car until after 3pm that day I had to call off work to get this done and still had to Uber to/from work the next day The person at the front desk did not seem to care at all and said to call the manager. If lying and deceiving customers is what it takes to get business, you re doing great.

Took my car in to get a Sticker Inspection. Was told that I had a bald patch on one of the tires so I would need to replace it to get the sticker. I had been to my dealership a few months ago and then gave the tires all a good grade. Sullivan then said that they would need to replace all 4 tires as it would drive unevenly if I just replaced one, and gave me a $1000 estimate, with no option to just replace the one "bad" tire. It felt very sketchy. Went back to my dealership who inspected all 4 tires, found no issues and gave me the new Sticker for the year. Other reviews about dishonesty are valid and I will NOT be returning.

I took my car to the Framingham location for a simple oil change and power steering fluid. Later they called me saying it's ready. as soon as I start the car."SERVICE ENGINE SOON" light was on.I was shocked because I've never seen those light before. Off course they told me the light was already on. But when I brought the car to them the light engine was not on.they looked guilty, I sense they did something wrong by mistake or on purpose.anyway the guy told me he'd turn off the light off, if it comes on again they'll check it out. Avoid them, they look deceitful.

I purchased tires with installation. Dave, Carl, and Tim at the front desk were very cordial and professional. This was a better experience than at most any other tire center or auto repair location in the Framingham area. Prices were reasonable. Even the tech guys were really friendly. The work was well done so I'm very happy. I'll be going back for my next set of tires.

I appreciate your prompt service. Your service records on my old car are helpful in planning preventative service. I told Dave I was taking the car on a trip and they checked out many critical items and provided a check list. I had the coolant system flushed and oil replaced today. I'm confident you did a great job by the success I'm enjoying with my car.

Absolutely more than professional. Timothy is soooooo over my expectation! My appointment was to replace one tire and they ve ordered for me. After a thorough examination they said my tire was in perfect condition and doesn t need a replacement. It s just the valve is leaking air, so they replaced that small stuff for me which saved me hundreds of dollars! They care about your vehicle and value your money! Tim explains everything in such a patient way even though I sometimes couldn t understand. If Sullivan has ever come to one of your options, please please go there. You ll only be surprised by how good they are!

This shop takes such good care of me and my family. I am a super busy person and have normal car needs. I strictly do all tire business with these guys... lifetime alignment on my car is like $200 something. Have bought all seasons and snows and get them changed every season with an alignment.I usually pack my bicycle in the car and can ride home or go to Jack s Abby while I wait. This place, in the heart of Framingham, is phenomenal

Stand behind their service and I can always trust the time my car is ready. Appointments seem to make everything smoother. Seems to make sense although I do notice a lot of walk- ins.Their Goodyear credit card makes purchasing tires very easy and convenient. They also offer 0% interest for first 6 months.Show me a better place with that kind of service, kindess, knowlege and payment options.. hard to find.

I was towed in with a flat spare tire, and while the wait was long (it is pothole season in Framingham right now), staff went above and beyond to get me a new tire and out the door to be on time to get my sons, including extending an offer to fix a broken tail light and find a replacement spare. Prices for the service was excellent, and the waiting area not only had comfortable seats and Wifi, but also had a bench desk for those who needed to catch up with work on their laptops while drinking complimentary coffee.

Would NEVER take my car here again and suggest you do not either. Went in for an inspection sticker and they failed me for safety. When asked what exactly they found wrong, I was told they could not specify and did not know exactly what it was, but that something was wrong on my front end. They did not offer any further information he stated because they would be liable if they told me one thing and it was not the true issue. That was their first mistake. They also failed to mention that my car was un-drivable from the moment of rejection for safety. They informed me I had 60 days . Sound advice- until I am being pulled over by a police officer who threatened to tow me for driving my vehicle. Second mistake was failure to inform customers rules and regulations of rejection. I took my car to my mechanic who told me he couldn t see any reason for failure other than very slightly worn tie rod ends, given we had NO other inclination as to why I was failed, we went ahead with the costly replacement. Though my mechanic did not deem it necessary. I returned to Sullivan for re-inspection today, only to be told EXACTLY why I was failed in the first place- my idler arm (reason on file). Clearly they knew the exact reason for failure but did not inform me at the time of inspection. My idler arm was never touched during repair, as we were not aware of this issue. However, funny enough, the mechanic working today said he sees nothing wrong with it and was unsure why I failed in the first place. All in all, I was failed for no reason, pulled over by police, paid a costly and unnecessary repair on my car, all because of the incompetence of this establishment. Needless to say I will be speaking with the BBB.

Buying 4 tires. I was told 2 hours so I figured 2.5 hours to be safe. It has been 3 hours and 14 min and I am still waiting!! Ok I have calmed down. I am happy with my new Goodyear tires and Tim at the front desk was very helpful.

Had a truely horrible experience with them. I brought in my 98 Jeep for some work and one of the problems was the aftermarket backup lights weren't working. They told me the wiring that had been done by the previous owner was pretty sketchy and that they wanted to rewire the lights in the whole backend. They wanted to charge several hundred dollars for it as they told me they wanted to do it right rather than just patch up the mess already back there. I had patched a few wires back there so I knew that it was somewhat messy and could use some work to clean up.A year later things did not work again, I am just now getting to take a look at the wiring inside and it is so much worse than the situation before. They cut wires they felt they didn't need but just left them there. In fact, it appears they used wire wraps to just hide all of them together including uncapped exposed wires.Clearly they promise professionalism while doing the minimum possible to get something to work for now. Very disappointing.

I brought my highlander SUV as I noticed noise from rear passenger side, and I took my car to the sullivan tires garage in Braintree. The guy told me I need to change four struts, front wheel axel differential and the rear passenger side wheel bearing. I was told it could cost me 4~5 grands. I was shocked and how came it suddenly had so many problems at once. I took my car back and drove it for a few days, and the engine checking light was on. I opened the front hood lid, found the engine oil cap was missing. I never touched it after oil changing six months ago. So I bought a new cap and brought a car to another dealer, it was diagnosed with rear passenger side wheel bearing problem. Fixed with $450. It runs quietly and smoothly so far.

If I could rate them 0 stars I would. They screwed up the service the first time then their manager Dave yelled and swore at me on the phone when I asked it to be fixed. Then when I decided to make an appointment I was told a couple hours. When I showed up they said all day .This is after THEY MESSED UP!!!! This is ridiculous. At the same time my appointment was 10am today and they haven't even looked at my car.

bad service I took my car to fix the heater which was broken after 3 months the heater was broken again they said it had a 2 year warranty when I took the car there for them to look at , they told me the problem was another one being that my heater was not it was working in the middle of the winter, I had no heater. their guarantee is worthless if your car breaks down you will have to pay the full amount again and they invent a little excuse to say that it is another problem.

Had my 2 different cars inspected here and everything went well. I would have given 5 stars, had they been polite in dealing as a retail business should be. No complaints with respect to work done though.

I went in for a state inspection and an oil change, and they said my car would not pass inspection because my headlights were "foggy". Really? I just used the product to clean them and they looked great. He also came back and said I need over $1400 in other work. I declined it and brought it to a mechanic down the street and he said, no your car is in great shape and passed the inspection with no issues.I also had to wait over two hours at this location and it was very frustrationg. I will NEVER go back thre.

The worst place to go to, always trying to scam people. I took my car to get a new sticker, the person informed me I need to replace a few lights total for the lights 133. I said thank you. Took my car to another mechanic who charged me 33 $ to change the lights, took my car back. They told me I still needed new light bulbs. You can tell a liar and scammer by the way he/she talks. He gave me such a long story about my car then stated maybe there's something else wrong with my car. Do not bring your car there, unless you don't care about getting scam.

They didn t bleed the line. Another two days. Nope. Finally got it and WILL NEVER EVER use Sullivan Tire in Framingham again! Go ANYWHERE ELSE!!!

I've been going to Sullivan Tire at this location for 2 years. They're always friendly and professional and don't play games. When I walk in the door, they know my name and it definitely has a small town auto service feel. They also have discounts for military and are active supporters of veterans. Great place.
