After a referral from our regular mechanic, Dave and the team at Bonded quickly diagnosed the problem on our '16 Yukon XL and installed a new transmission in our vehicle. They were easy to work with, honest, knowledgeable, and straightforward. Excellent customer service and fair pricing - we highly recommend them!

They put two techs on my car and spent an hour diagnosing the rattling noise in my Hurst shifter. They claimed they couldn't find any issues and that it was installed perfectly (thanks for the compliment, because I installed it myself with very little direct visibility). They even tried diagnosing my heating issue (which they don't major in) that I was thinking was the blend door, which costs 4-5 grand to replace. Still, they couldn't find any issues. They kindly recommended troubleshooting another part to see if the heating issue would be fixed that way, which I will try. However, the $170 I spent on labor for them to find nothing was worth it. Why? Because even though they technically didn't do anything, the heating is performing better and the shifter doesn't rattle as much, but still a little. I can't explain it lol but I'm happy. But it's better than spending thousands! Thank you to David and the crew!

We have a 2014 Mercedes C300 that all of a sudden stopped moving. It appeared to be a transmission issue. We towed it to the Burlington MB dealership and they said the car had suffered a 'Catastrophic Transmission failure' and the transmission needed to be replaced. They gave me a quote that was significantly higher than the book value of the car. I did a little research and found Bonded Transmission. Talked to Dave Mathews and had it towed to his shop. They did a thorough exam and informed me that the problem was with the rear axel, not the transmission! The estimate to repair was reasonable (the final cost was actually less than the estimate) and he had the car back to us, running great, in 48 hours!. I highly recommend calling Dave Mathews at Bonded Transmission!

My 2005 M-B SLK 350 recently had a transmission failure leading to a check engine light and being stuck in Limp Mode (2nd gear only, forward and reverse). The local Mercedes dealership said that the transmission could not be fixed or replaced, and that was the end of my car. That's when I called Bonded. Dave Matthews and the team of expert mechanics rescued my car from parts car status. I'm in Greater Boston, not MetroWest, but it's worth the trip to go to a place that I trust and that delivers on that trust. I highly recommend them to anyone needing quality auto repair.Service: Transmission

Dave and the Bonded staff are talented and diligent. They completed a complete rebuild of my Chevy Silverado transmission in just a few weekdays ahead of schedule. The transmission is much better than it's ever been. They replaced the original shoddy parts with beefier, better parts. The acceleration and feel of torque is night and day relative to how it was prior. Although this diagnosis was simple, they are known for solving problems that other mechanics can't figure out. I know from experience. Highly highly recommend Bonded!

After having my main shop screw me over I was in a pretty stressed out spot until I contacted Bonded specifically Dave Matthews who was able to get my car in the very next day! For a fair price all the necessary work was done in a timely manner and the car feels like it s brand new. thanks so much for the clutch reply guys the 350Z rides like new!!

I brought my 05 4runner in as it had a bad transmission line break and leaked out some fluid. They inspected and charged for the diagnostic fee which is fine. They told me that they recommend replacing all the transmission lines and doing a flush. I agreed and once they were replacing the lines they saw that radiator needed to be replaced and fluid flushed. I agreed and the cost was 2400.00 for this service which I thought was a little high but hey they get good reviews. Once I picked it up I asked if they had replaced the transmission filter. They said no because the screws may snap. I am thinking a transmission place that removed pans on a daily basis must have good skills in doing so. I thought well ok then all this money and dropping pan, cleaning residue and replacing filter should have been part of the service when charging so much.A couple weeks later my transmission has codes and the car will not move. I called them back and they said well sorry probably your transmission and needs to be replaced without even taking a quick look. I said OK can you quote me a price. They came back and said almost 5000.00 dollars for a used transmission. I will looks for another shop at this point.I just want to warn folks to look around and do some homework and ask what is covered on the quote. Do not assume they are going to do what should be done. Be blessed and live and learn...Reply to comment below:The bad luck is taking my car to your shop. If someone wants to pay for full service transmission service/flush I would expect the filter to be replaced in the transmission. You should have told me you were afraid of dropping pans on transmissions. You could have also at least hooked up a scanner to read the codes but elected to just say I need transmission and gave me a 5000.00 quote for a used transmission without even looking at codes or verifying your work. Great experience. Was having difficulty with my 2017 truck transmission. Dealership told me that the whole transmission needed to be repaired and best bet was to buy a whole new truck. Dave and Bonded team was able to diagnose and repair the transmission at a great price. Everything was extremely transparent, fast and easy. Would highly recommend.Service: Transmission

I got a new vehicle in my name a need an inspection within one week. I knew my brakes were going so I added that. This place was recommended to me by a family friend who my dad was friends with when they were kids. Took 4 days to get back to a message we left to schedule an inspection. But the earliest they could provide was July. The person I talked to was rather rude in my opinion. It s very disappointing that this service was described to me by this family friend as professional and fast at responding and maintenance. I was not pleased with this place. I haven t even gotten my car inspected. I have until Thursday so I guess I will be going somewhere else since they are too busy for a 10 minute inspection.Services: Vehicle Inspection, Brakes

I began going to Bonded Transmission because my mechanic Kyle relocated there. He is trustworthy. I am a single mom and cannot afford car repairs and he always advises me on what the issue is and the most affordable way to get back on the road. Rose at the front desk is wonderful! I own a ford with 140K miles and have ever been doing general repairs and service at Bonded. The support advisors and staffs are friendly and supportive. Each time I take my vehicle for regular maintenance such as oil change, my car comes out better than I had it. They run extra services like your washables and coolants refill, AC leak, tire and brake checks all for free. I prefer my maintenance done at Bonded Transmission than at my car dealer center. From start to finish, Bonded's service was excellent. Dave was very nice & explained everything that was done to my car. My car barely made it to the shop due to transmission issues. Brought my car in for a transmission flush and received a call that it was finished 4 hours later. Very fast turnaround and customer service was excellent! I worked with Dave and Rose and both of them were great. I have never posted an online review like this but Bonded Transmission did an amazing job overall and I wanted to recognize that. I have had several excellent experiences with Bonded Transmission & Auto Repair. From winter tires to a brake job to an axle replacement, they have provided excellent and prompt service, going out of their way to accommodate me. The owner has even given me a ride when I dropped off my car. They have assessed my car, at no charge, for things that I was concerned about that turned out to be nothing to have to be serviced. They communicated with me before during after each visit. I will continue to rely on them to take care of my car.

Brought my car to bonded after the dealer telling me I needed to replace the transmission. Car is 2011 so I wasn t going to have the dealer put in a brand new one. Dave gave me the options I had and he found a good used transmission with low mileage and a warranty. I was very happy with the level of professionalism and straight forward talk about those options. I spoke with Rose who was very knowledgeable, helpful and a pleasure to speak with. She provided direction and instructions to have my vehicle delivered to Bonded Transmission.I had AAA pick up my truck at my home and had it dropped off at Bonded Transmission on Beaver st in Framingham.The next day I called and spoke with DAVE who was absolutely pivotal in having the work done at their shop.He was very helpful in providing guidance, had a calm demeanor, and came across as friendly and honest.The work I had done was the installation of a universal joint, air filter and troubleshoot a transmission problem.Great Job! highly recommend!Services: Transmission, Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance

Dave was wonderful! I called on Monday about the transmission light car was brought in next day in am I spoke with Dave he was up front and very patient with my questions about pricing. Dave have me a feeling of respect and comfort as a woman and I trusted them fixing the car.. turned out good car was done on time at 4 repairs were explained to me so o could understand and I was very impressed with the fact they give a discount with AAA as well ! This is my first review. I had to post this, I own a BMW X5 2013 Diesel. I got my brakes replaced, service done, glow plugs replaced( I wasn't able to find any local mechanic who was willing to do it, other than BMW authorized dealer), glow plug module replaced from these. I have to say they are very reasonable. Service is quick and so far very reliable. Leanna is great! she will keep you posted on text whats going on with the car, what needs to be done, and how much it will cost- parts and labor. These are my go to auto shop. I would say they get the job done on par with BMW authorized service center, but you pay half or less of what they charge. Will visit again if need be. Thanks guys! You are great.

I had been referred by a friend to Bonded for service to my car a few years ago. I have never gone anywhere else since.It s hard to find a mechanic that you feel trust for, This is one of those places. They are straightforward and honest. What I like best is that they usually give me an option of something less expensive if I can t do a brand new part. I give them a full five stars!

I already had rated bonded 5 stars from my previous experiences getting work done on my car but I felt like I had to include a review. Everyone at bonded is incredibly helpful and communicative. I know very little about cars but I feel like every time I ve gone to bonded I m able to trust their assessment of what needs work and what doesn t. Highly recommend.

I had the most AMAZING experience at bonded transmission! I bought the living social deal for the break pads. As soon as I entered, they were nothing but polite and helpful. They give an accurate time for when your car will be done. They text you to keep you updated on the progress of your car. I love that. When i went to pick up my car, i was blown away. The mechanic had done a complimentary overview of my car. They told me things that would need to be done in the future, things to look out for and things not to worry about. I truly trust the staff at Bonded. I will be a forever customer. The 45 min drive is worth an honest experience!

I have been taking my 2004 Toyota Camry to Bonded Transmission for almost 5 years and I love them! They take care of my car (and my money) as if it was their own. They always let me know up-front what they plan to do and why, along with cost and time estimates, and then get the job done. Their rates are very reasonable (both for routine maintenance / oil-changes and other not-so-routine fix-ups) and I have always had a great experience. When hit by unforeseen complications on a recent repair work, they went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of - I do not know of any other business that takes such good care of their customers.

Bonded is simply the best auto service experience I have ever had. I brought my car here with mysterious, recurring issues. They always dealt with me kindly and fairly. I never thought I was being bullied or ignored. They fixed the problems and invited me back if anything else arose. Hopefully, there won t be need to for a while, but if so, I won t go anywhere else.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

My experience at Bonded transmission and Auto repair has been excellent. I have been there several times and prefer to get my routine service done with them. Its a small shop, not much rush, responsive and helpful people, very reasonable prices. Despite being a small shop, they do provide drop off or pick up for nearby locations. I live close by so I did use it once. Again, a pleasant experience.They do have free complimentary wifi and there is a small waiting room where you can get coffee, hot water, and some magazines.They do send coupons often for services like oil change, brake service, etc. I didn't have a coupon once for an oil change and asked the person at the front desk to give me the discount and he agreed to do so. :)Highly recommend it.

I've used many mechanics to service my cars over the years. I was blown away by my recent experience with Bonded Transmission. A simple oil change and check up revealed potential problems in the future with clear-cut recommendations. I received a link with explanation and photos of the car's condition. This enabled me to make a good decision about the future of this car. Great service. I highly recommend them.
