Excellent quality work at very reasonable prices with friendly accommodating staff. Only issue is they are so popular that you have to wait a bit to get the work done. Once they have your car they are very efficient in getting it back to you. My first choice for auto body work. Consistently excellent over the years.

I'm about to have my '14 Mazda 3 fixed - managed to back into my mom's truck in my own driveway (ugh)! I expect they'll do as good a job (excellent) as they did in '08 on my (then) new '07 civic.They were recommended by word of mouth from a coworker who likes to have things thoroughly taken care of. I had no complaints... other than they're busy and take a while to get to you (you schedule with them about 4 weeks out). Overall, my experiences with them have been positive - and the results outstanding. If only they weren't so damn busy! :)

Brought a well worn but beloved car for them for a hood repaint and rust repair. the hood came back with orange peel spots. looks like little drops of water, but the hood is dry.2 yrs later: hood is peeling in spots. some rust repair holding, some on the underside they just literally bondo'd over then rubberized undercoat over the bondo. lame. already falling apart. our instructions were to fix it well, even if it came in over the estimate. instead they stuck to the estimate and I guess made big compromises to do so?Services: Painting, Body & Trim, Welding

The receptionist is a little bit people-challenged. She's not exactly welcoming, and she forgot some important information that I gave her when I dropped off the car. Also not good about calling to update me on how the repairs were going. I said I needed the car by five, and she assured me that was no problem--but when I called at 4:30, the car was nowhere near finished. She seemed a decent enough human being, though. Just lacking some people skills and organizational skills.It's also very difficult for them to fit your repairs into their schedule--so this is probably not a good choice for an emergency.On the other hand, the repairs were satisfactory, and the price was reasonable.

I love this shop!A couple years ago I was told (by 3 different Easthampton Auto Shops) that a certain repair would cost me up to $1,000. The folks at 1812 did it for no-cost, explaining that it was a simple, easy fix. Ever since then I've trusted them with all my repairs.It's wonderful to have a shop I can trust. I believe they will do the job RIGHT at a reasonable price. It's always a pleasure to leave their parking lot with a smooth ride!

We brought several different vehicles to 1812 to have repairs done. We've used them to repair our personal vehicles, our work trucks and my family's cars. They are honest and reputable. They have always done excellent work and I will continue to use them for repairs to all my vehicles and my family's vehicles.

I had my back bumper replaced. The woman at the front desk was nice and helpful. They did a great job for a great price and it was done in timely fashion. Would definitely go back (although I hope I don t have to!).Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

My car was towed in after an accident. The car was totalled and so had to be removed. I was told the license plate would be taken off my car by them prior to my car being removed, so I did not bring in new tools to remove the plate myself. When I called to check on the status, I was told that my car was removed and they did not believe the license plate was taken off but that they would check and call me back later that day. I never heard back from them, so I left a negative review. Not long afterwards I got a response back responding to my review. In it they said they would look for the plate and reimburse me the cost of having to buy new plates if they could not find them, and asked me to remove my review, so I did. Months have passed and I have heard nothing back from them...

I m new to this area and I needed work done on my truck. They did an outstanding job and the people were very nice and the price was very reasonable. I will definitely take my truck back for any body work it needs in the future. Thank you

My sister in law just left. She came for an inspection on a car she bought and some guy waiting there had to correct then on a law. Then on to of that the inspector told her to fix the rust holes on get car with spray foam! I used to work on cars and foam is illegal to use to fix a vehicle. And from what I have been told by many inspectors your car should fail if it had foam instead of metal. Personally I riveted sheet metal over hikes our used bondo myself. But foam? What idiots work there?

These guys are good mechanics. You have to plan ahead but they take appointments. They even take appointments for MA state inspection which is good because I don't have a lot of time to sit around waiting these days.

Got my car inspected here. It was quick and the mechanic helped me out by switching my license plate, which was stuck because of a stripped screw

Love these guys. They are the goto place for people at my work. I tried them out and they are actually honest, and sober. A rare mix for mechanics. It works though !!
