Took me in on the spot and correctly diagnosed a noise in my front end as a problem with my wheel bearing. They charged a fair price for the diagnosis and told me I would get full credit for that charge toward the wheel bearing job if I decided to bring it back to them to have it done. I brought it back to them and they did a good job. My only complaint is that after the diagnosis visit I noticed a couple of small scratches on my door. I didn't complain. When I picked up my car after the wheel bearing was replaced I noticed another small scratch. Their work area is very tight and congested so I can see how it would happen. My car is not new so it's not a big deal to me

Great bunch of guys! They rebuilt the transmission on my gen 2 dodge ram. They're very busy so be patient but my truck is bullet proof now.

These guys are the best shop in Fall River , recently my muffler popped off while going up a hill making my car super loud , i called kirks & they fit me in at 3pm the NEXT DAY , fixed my muffler in a hour and went the extra mile to make sure it doesn t happen again . Thank you to Eric & Pete for saving me and my family the hassle of riding around on thanksgiving with a loud car . Forever thankfulService: Exhaust

Left my father's car out in the lot for almost 2 weeks, it's never leaves the garage and now it's filthy, inside and out. My father has been very patient with him and not only 2 weeks later is the car not fixed, when we went to pick it up IT WAS UNLOCKED IN THE LOT!! Make sure you take anything important out of your car before you go here unless you want everything stolen out of your car AND want to pick up a filthy car. I would NOT recommend going here. There's plenty of other more trustworthy places to go in fall river or Dartmouth. I'm leaving this review to hopefully let people know how he treats the cars he receives at his shop.Service: Transmission

After 3 weeks and $4,300 later I was able to pick my car up yesterday! I noticed the driver's seat completely destroyed. I took my car for transmission problems I don't understand how my seat is broken? I called the shop and spoke to Jimmy, he completely dismissed me and told me my seat was probably already like this! I would have known if something was broken before I took my car and mind you this was not for a discount because I already had PAID before I noticed my seat was broken. I will never use their services again and will not recommend to anyone unless you want to pick your car up with other issues.Service: Transmission

Found Kirk's through Google for a local transmission place to fix my husband's truck. After a horrible experience in Virginia, we were happy to have found an honest place here after we moved. Rich worked with us, was straightforward, and did excellent work. We highly recommend!!!

Most knowledgable crew ive ever seen. They rebuild Transmissions of course and perform almost every other kind of repair there is. Kirk, the owner has been servicing the area for 30+ years. Fairest person ive ever known. Repeat customers since he was a kid. That must tell you something

ADDENDUM: After getting charged 500$ back in September as mentioned below, my transmission is now slipping again! Great job, Kirk! My car is revving high but not accelerating when I hit the gas, so what on god's gay earth did you even do??? The worst.Overpriced, and they smoke in their office which is disgusting (I'm allergic to tobacco, so thanks for the sinus inflammation). Charged me nearly 500 bucks just to diagnose my car's issue then refill my transmission fluid.

I was traveling through Fall River on my way home to NY when my transmission started losing fluid through the lines. Kirk and team took me in on a busy day for them and got me fixed up and on my way. Kind folks and great service.

I Don't recommend it to anyone go to this place very bad customer service they're telling you to do the job charge $1,000 and the car get worse very bad and they liar about all the work that they done in the car bring to another mechanic to tell me that the copy of the receipt was not done really so much money for nothing

These guys are awesome. Whatever is broken..they will get to the problem, and fix it...fast and decently priced..what a bunch of characters. Thanks a lot for reviving the truck.

Thay replaced the 2 front axles in my 2011 rogue finished it within 2hrs great service very reasonable price garrented all there work and parts haven't had a problem with my front endsince it's been fixed thank you kirker transmission
