This place gets worse every time I go here. This is definitely my last time going there. I went there to get the code for a check engine light. The sales associate, if you can call him that, wanted me to do his job! Asked if I knew how to do. He said he would show me for the first and last time. Well it s definitely the last. I m never been spoken to so rudely. It s amazing this place is still open. If you want to be treated terribly, this is the place to go.

I needed four car key batteries. Not only was I able to purchase them for a reasonable price, the two employees there installed ALL FOUR for me! They were so kind and nice and just awesome guys. Benny and Scotty at the Fairhaven location - you guys helped me cross off a daunting task off my to-do list with smiles and laughter. Thank you both so much!

How is this place even open? Their oil tank is always full for used oil. They don't do anything there except sit on the counter and act like doing their job is going to drop them on the spot. Claim the computer is why I got the wrong part 3 different times. 5 years ago this place was great but now it's a clown show that's being paid when nothing is funny.

Great experience purchasing a replacement battery. The item was in stock and expertly installed by Daish. He was also very helpful in explaining the installation process for my own education. Polite competent and capable. Will purchase again.

Bought a defective alternator here, even had someone infront of me returning a defective one while I was buying a battery, watch out for the overweight worker with long curly hair that may own any deodorant or know how to shower dude stood next to the door while I was grabbing a funnel as if I was about to shop lift like he was gonna do something. Someone bring this kid a clown costume bcuz he goofy.

After going to the AutoZones in New Bedford 4 times trying to get my battery replaced since it s under warranty. It finally got replaced by Daish, he was super helpful! And even taught me how to change my battery if I ever need too!!

Had a Duralast Gold battery in the truck.Battery came with truck when I purchased year n half ago.Was 5 yr warranty , know there 3 years. Battery literally Blew - up / exploded ! Clean up an exploded battery is not fun ! What a mess. Alternator was doing 14.2 volts On side of battery " proven Tough" perhaps it's false advertising? Not warrantied ! Price has gone way up to .$215.00

Extremely rude personnel. Ignore customers even when we are speaking to them, and then complaining about having to work and that customers ask stupid questions all day and they're sick of it. Worst experience at an auto store. Tried a few times and have had enough. Dont go here If a manager sees this, the employee was working Christmas Eve when this last incident happened. Unfortunately staff at this location could not confirm model compatibility of available parts or suggest alternative options. I did purchase a part and mounting hardware, but it fit poorly, had to be modified, and has since been replaced with the correct items purchased elsewhere. This would have been a 2 star review, but the people were friendly and polite - 1 star for being nice.

Had the best experience today. Unfortunately, I am unaware of the specific employee who helped my mom and me today, however, he was an older man with blue rimmed glasses and a slight accent. Both my mom and I needed windshield wipers for our cars and were overwhelmed when we saw the plethora of options in the store, even though we did do some research prior to arriving. This employee came right up to us and told us he could help us. He proceeded to the computer where he put in the year, make, and model of our cars to find the correct wipers. He then printed out the numbers and helped us find them. He rang us up at the register and proceeded to lead us out to help me change my wiper. He showed me how and took all my trash and told my mom she could come back if she needed him to change her wiper too. The absolute BEST customer service ever. Kindness goes such a long way. Thank you Mr.!!!!!!! I m so sorry I didn t get your name. Would absolutely recommend going here!

Charles helped me with my headlight and antifreeze. When I called, he answered and was friendly and helpful. When I arrived 1 hour later at the store, he remembered that I had called. He changed my headlight and added to the antifreeze.Thank you Charles for all your help!!

Monday night I needed to get my license plate cover attached to my car. Given it wasn t a standard size, it needed the extender etc. The Fairhaven, MA store manager was super helpful. I had spent some time on it the day before, but didn t have all the parts, so when I got to the store, he was able to provide great customer service and fix the problem for me. Awesome and much appreciated.

Super helpful staff! Bought a new battery and even though one of the bolts had snapped on the terminal, they still installed it and a new bolt for me! Not to mention this was on a day where the weather was in the teens! Definitely earned me as a lifetime customer!

I Have Been GOING TO AutoZone, Ever Since It Opened, On Mt. Pleasant Street, In New Bedford, Ma. And, My Experiences There, Have Always Been UP And DOWN..... For Some Products, Best Place To Go, Headlights, Lights, Blinkers, Etc, Windshield Wiper Inserts and Blades, Spark Plugs, Wires, Oils and Fluids and Filters, BRAKE PADS, SHOES, ROTORS, DRUMS, AND CALIPERS, ARE ALL GREAT THERE !!!! ELECTRICAL ITEMS, SUCH AS STARTERS AND ALTERNATORS, AND FUEL PUMPS, NOT AT ALL !!!! I ALWAYS GO FACTORY ON FUEL PUMPS AND STARTERS AND ALTERNATORS, I BRING TO BOULANGER AND SON'S, AND THEY REBUILD THEM, AND DOES A 5 STAR JOB, EVERY TIME !!!!

I was looking for a inverter for the cab of a car. When i walked in the gentleman at the door greeted me and asked what I am looking for. He showed me. And was very polite. AutoZone is now doing a cash rewards program where if you spend more than 20 dollars for 5 visits. You receive 20 dollars back. So, a pretty good deal. A great experience all in all.

Very unprofessional and knowledge-lacking counterpeople. Management is just as bad. Parts are poor quality and priced higher than the competitors.Poor selection of parts on hand also. Many times the part in question is not in stock. They do run good specials on the oil/filter combos,but all of the other automotive chemicals are way overpriced. Don't waste your time with this parts store!

I bought a starter for a 2006 mazda 6, and within the 90 day warranty period the guy tells me he can't give me my money back because someone else had given me a starter. He said something about breaking there warranty I said are you kidding me, I said then what about store credit he said oh come back tomorrow when my manager is here all rude and ignorant. What is the purpose of a warranty it a product is faulty and you can't get your money back and get a attitude ontop of it. I wouldn't recommend autozone for nothing!!

Needed a new battery ASAP and went to the AutoZone in Fairhaven. Spoke to Diane. I don't know if she is a manager or not but you need more employees like her. She understands customer service and how to treat her customers. I work in a customer service job also, I would hire Diane after seeing her in action and doing everything she could to help me in my time of need. Thank you for your help Diane!

The worker was pleasant and thorough in making sure I had the right bulb for my headlight and offered to install it for me. I need all the guidance I can get and Auto Zone is very helpful.

I can t say enough about Damian at AutoZone in Fairhaven, MA. My kiddo gets very attached to our cars and worries about their well-being. He took time to explain everything to Charlotte because she was worried that the car (Louie Putt Putt) was getting surgery (new battery). So he corresponded each part to a vital organ. Heart is the battery, oil is the blood, alternator is the lungs, computer is the brain, gas is the food. It put Charlotte at ease and she was enamored. I think this child might be inspired to become a mechanic. Thank you Damian!
