My oil and filter change was quick and easy. The mechanic carefully explained some services to be aware of in the future in a friendly and helpful style. Their prices were also better than other nearby mechanics.

Updating my review to add an actual review. I have used them twice and they have been so fantastic and reasonably priced. I'm not from the area, I moved here a few years ago and trying to find an honest mechanic is difficult. Especially being out of state from Maine. They are beyond honest and can communicate very wellBoth were done in less than 3 days. Even referred my coworker whose serpentine belt was going. They really helped her out and worked with her on what is needed to keep it maintained until they are able to replace. 10/10Services: Brakes, Oil change

I've been going to ESP for 5+ years, and they're always friendly, plainly explain what needs to be done, and do good work. Their waiting room is clean and welcoming, they have a bathroom for customers, and they provide rides to/from customer homes if nearby.

I can t say enough good things about the folks here at ESP, and I ve been bringing my vehicles to them for the past 12 years. They re kind and honest people. Whether it s been a big or small issue, they ve always seemed honest and shared all information with me before doing any work. As long as I m living in the Valley, ESP will always have my business.

I was doing a Google search for mechanics in Easthampton and in my opinion these folks are not highly rated enough! They were one of two shops that even answered the phone and the only one with a cheerful voice on the other end. They were flexible with my scheduling needs in terms of dropping off and picking up my vehicle. When I came in the morning to drop off the vehicle they were a little busy but the gentleman at the counter greeted each customer the same and was really kind and attentive as he talked to everyone. What I anticipated to be hundreds of dollars to fix my horn turned out to be an easy 30. They called and explained everything they did to my car as well as an estimate and detailed explanation of future repairs should they be needed. I also have to say the three photos of their mechanics over the years on the wall in the lobby put the biggest smile on my face. SO HAPPY I found them.

I just had my second experience with ESP and felt the need to write in. The first time I went to ESP was about two years ago when my car sounded 'congested' and they had to put in an entirely new exhaust system for me.Recently I had my check engine light on. I initially had it checked out by a larger name brand place in Northampton and they simply plugged in the diagnostic and said it was a catalytic converter code, and quoted me at $1800, to fix and wanted to do it ASAP, no further info.I decided to take it back to ESP for a second opinion and I'm glad I did. I got a phone call from them THOROUGHLY explaining all the tests they had put the car through and all the possible issues it could be having. They let me know the engine light was now off but we put a plan in place for if it came back on, along with an estimate of how much that would cost later. They let me know it was not the converter that was faulty, but a sensor- which costs $400 to replace as opposed to $1800. HUGE difference to the wallet.At ESP they are always friendly, reliable, thorough. They let you know what is wrong with your car with transparent and understandable information, and are not trying to rip you off. I love this local business and will continue to use them for all repairs moving forward!! I cannot say enough good things. Plus they are right in town, and so am I, so the convenience of walking there is great for me. I don't ever feel too stranded without my vehicle.I have a 2014 car with 80K miles on it- I'm not looking to spend money on major repairs when they aren't necessary. I know I can trust ESP to not try to con me out of thousands of dollars. A true gem in the neighborhood. Thank you ESP!!Services: Exhaust, Auto engine diagnostic, Battery

I stopped in to schedule my oil change, and in addition I needed some air in one of my tires. They never charge me for little things like checking my air real quick or looking under the hood if I hear a noise, I don t trust automotive places easily and I have to tell you this place is great.If you don t have a mechanic or an auto repair and service place that you use regularly please give ESP auto on pleasant st a try. They have been a staple in Easthampton for many years and are a family-based small business, Everyone is so kind, accommodating and friendly. It feels like you are working with family only you pay them lol. Thank you ESP for doing a great job. Every time I interact with your company.Service: Oil change

I have been going to these guys for years, and from my first visit when I requested a tune up and they asked me why I thought I needed a tune up (which I didn't), I was sold. I mean, who does that any more? They are friendly, polite, and speedy. They always look around for the best deals for parts, and I have never had to return because of problems with work they did on my car. They have also taken me on the spur of the moment several times for things like flat tires, etc. They're the best!Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Brakes, Oil change

I was so pleased with my experience at ESP Auto today. The staff was friendly and helpful, and thoroughly explained the work they did on my car. They did a great job and they did so in a timely manner. They even took photos to document a wiring issue and were extremely fair with their prices and took the time to explain all of the items on my bill. I highly recommend them.

Having to be towed under AAA coverage and not knowing where to go with 2 flat tires the AAA representative said ESP Auto was within distance of coverage and she had "heard good things about them". So that's where we ended up. Not Disappointed at all...received friendly, knowledgeable, timely service and Jacob was so helpful. Got us back on the road without too much delay. So grateful for their service and would not hesitate to use them again for any auto services. Thank You Very Much!!!

Jacob was great on the phone. He was easy to talk to and he asked efficient questions and understood my comments on my problem. The service report reflected this and included extensive, valuable information on the condition of my car; I'm confident the technicians took the best professional interest.Work was scheduled to my convenience within a week of my call. I dropped my car off at ten, got a call at noon confirming the estimate I was given when I scheduled, and my car was ready around two.Recommended.

Great, fast and polite service. I visited there to follow up on a Check Engine light. The tech went above and beyond by contacting the manufacturer to try to determine my warranty status, should the problem be serious. Ironically the light turned itself off a couple of days later, but ESP called me back with some information from the manufacturer, and how to proceed.I don't feel that I was over charged at all, and the service was excellent. Nice work!

Employees were friendly, helpful, and reassuring. The front office/waiting area was clean, tidy, and well-lit with plenty of brightly colored and sturdy toys if you are waiting with little ones - other garages take note! I've been going to ESP for over 15 years, during which they've provided excellent, friendly, transparent, and trustworthy service. Walking into their comfortable, renovated front office, one immediately gets the feeling that they are there to help and make your experience as easy and pleasant as possible. I absolutely recommend them for everything from a simple oil change to the largest job to keep your car running smoothly.

Amazing customer service, people that work there are not only serious about the work they do, they are also reliable, which is very rare in auto mechanic business. I'm very satisfied with the outcome of my car being fixed, astonished by honesty, full disclosure of the services rendered, no hidden costs, no forced suggestions. Highly recommend you visit this place for all your car maintenance and repair needs. I will definitely return there myself. Very impressed.

These folks are the best. They keep my 2002 F-150, with 210000 miles on it, running like new. They are professional, courteous, and conscientious about their work. They keep abreast of the latest in auto technology to better serve their friends and customers. They discuss all work with you before proceeding and they never try to take advantage of their position. Five stars from this happy customer.

I had to write a review as I almost sold my car based on an estimate provided by ESP. This was the second time I brought my car to them as my usual Mechanic is ill and not doing work. I dropped of my car and asked them to check my brakes as there was a grinding noise and check the power steering as it was leaking fluid. I got a call that my tires needed to be replaced, total exhaust system needed replacement and a total brake job both front and back. I said I wasn t doing tires as it was almost time to put on snows. They said without tires I was looking at $4k. I decided for $4k, it was time for a new car as mine had over 100K miles on it. I even went car shopping and was on the fence as I really didn t want to buy a car right away. Someone recommended another repair shop. I told them the same issues and the cost was less than $1K. I go to independent shops to avoid the dealership rip-offs. I won t be coming back here ever again as they were over selling me of what needed to be done and I almost bought a new car over it. By the way they don t know what summer performance tires look like, as the ties were used a total of 9 months and didn t need replacing.

These folks are great. I brought my truck here to have an air leaking hose fixed but turned out the part couldn't be purchased without this whole other thousand dollar piece attached to it. The told me that wasn't worth paying for then spent a week calling around scrapyards to find the hose to no avail. A year later I finally found the hose and brought it in. They not only remembered me and the issue, but fixed the problem for a great price. I won't go anywhere else now.

Very friendly and prompt service. They called me to schedule an oil change, took me when I arrived early, and got me out the door in just under an hour. They were kind enough to suggest another business to take care of my body work and I couldn't be more pleased with their suggestion. I will be back here for all of my car maintenance!

This may be the first time I have ever given a 5 star rating - ESP Auto exceeded my expectations.� Our car broke down an hour away from home.� AAA towed our car to ESP Auto as the closest place for repair.� Unfortunately, our 2001 car engine was trashed (timing belt broke on our interference engine).� ESP Auto did charge us a nominal diagnosis fee. But, they worked with us and let us leave our dead car on their lot for almost a week with out charging us.� They treated us out-of-towners well. They could have taken advantage of our situation.� We want to thank them for their help and hospitality.

These guys are great. We broke down on a long trip and they took our car without an appointment, fixed the problem quickly, and we were on our way. They were super friendly, efficient, and professional. Would recommend them very highly.

Very dissatisfied with the time it took them almost two weeks to do a brake job they promised me that they were going to get to it by Friday of the first week and I never got the car back until Tuesday of the second week. I also had a sticky substance on the horn area of my steering wheel. And in my opinion their prices were exorbitant I would not recommend them to anybody they all but called me a liar I am going to stick to my belief that they didn't do what they promised to do and again I will never recommend them to anybody

My husband & I wouldn't dream of bringing our vehicles anywhere else. The folks at ESP are competent, professional and friendly. They've done everything from oil changes to major repairs and we're always satisfied with their work. I highly recommend ESP Auto.

I would not bring my vehicle back to them. THEY WERE VERY NICE, but they charged me $138 for a USED battery terminal. This is less than a 10 minute fix!!! THAT'S WHY THEY WERE SO NICE!!! PLUS I CAN'T CHOOSE NO STARS SO THEY GET ONE STAR UNFORTUNATELY!!!

Very friendly staff and honest about problems we had with our vehicles. They researched the problem with our car and found out that the issue was under warranty at Toyota. Happy to find that out.

One of the most well run offices I've ever seen in an auto shop. ESP is great about laying out diagnostic plans that fit my schedule and budget. Electrical system champions. Would recommend for any brand of car.

Friendly and fast! 15-20 min wait while they did an oil change on my car. Definitely call ahead for an appointment, these folks are busy! Computer read out at the end showing what work they did was a plus.

Love this place, and the people who work here are very nice. They seem to really care about the people who take their cars here, and not just about making money. My husband and I take our cars here when ever we have a question, or need advice. Recommended to anyone needing an honest place to take their vehicle!
